Tuve el placer de visitar La Malvasia en Palma y la experiencia fue excepcional, especialmente por su ambiente y su cuidada carta de vinos. El local tiene una atmósfera elegante pero a la vez muy acogedora, con una iluminación cálida y un estilo que invita a relajarse y disfrutar sin prisas. La selección de vinos es, sin duda, uno de sus grandes puntos fuertes. La carta está muy bien pensada, con referencias locales de Mallorca y opciones internacionales, perfectas tanto si eres amante del vino como si simplemente quieres dejarte aconsejar. El equipo demuestra conocimiento y pasión, recomendando el vino ideal para cada momento. Es un lugar perfecto para una velada tranquila, una cita o disfrutar de una buena conversación acompañada de un excelente vino en pleno centro de Palma. Sin duda, un sitio al que volver.

Sencillamente inmejorable. La comida exquisita, nuestra enhorabuena a los cocineros. El trato de los camareros impecable, muy cercanos, atentos y rápidos todo el tiempo. Barato para la calidad del producto (las chuletitas de lechal bastante económicas y buenísimas). El local precioso, coqueto y con una decoración navideña muy cálida. Nos ha enamorado el sitio

Hemos encontrado el sitio por casualidad. Una plaza muy bonita y la verdad que nos han atendido Julia desde el primer momento con simpatía y nos hizo sentir como en casa recomendando diferentes platos. La comida es super rica ! Recomiendo el sitio .

Lugar mágico en el centro de Palma. La atención del personal es increíble y la comida espectacular, sobretodo las bravas, las mini burgers y las anchoas. Mención especial para su vino de elaboración propia con la uva que lleva el nombre del local, nos encantó. Un acierto para volver a visitar

Fui con mi marido y mi hijo a comer el sábado y nos encantó. Empezando por la atención de Laura, súper amable y nos informaba de toda la carta. La comida buenísima y los postres los mejores que he probado en toda mi vida. La ensaladilla buenísima, la mejor que he probado. La única pega es que el interior es bastante pequeño y las mesas están demasiado pegadas pero tiene una terraza bastante amplia. Sin duda repetiremos.

We had tapas here as starters. Glad we did! The best out of what we had were the ceviche and Iberico croquette. The fried calamares was not that good.

Stumbled across this place whilst walking around Palma. Staff were great. The food was some of the best food I’ve had since I’ve been here. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. The fries were the best I’ve had. My partner had the tacos, she loved them. Would recommend!

We visited this place twice during our vacation in Palma. This restaurant is located in the heart of the town (Palma centre) and is offering Spanish food at affordable price. We absolutely loved the delicacies, ambience and food with great hospitality. The staff was very humble and friendly, he genuinely undertook our request of adding Chicken on their Mediterranean Pizza(Veg) for a negligible price. Their Spanish food is worth the price and affordable. Highly recommended for tourists in town.

El lugar es muy acogedor. Las mesas dentro un poco demasiado juntas. Supongo necesitan aprovechar el espacio.Pedimos una ración de croquetas y nos faltaba una para los que éramos y al principio nos dijeron que no, pero fue un mal entendido y la dueña o encargada nos trajo una ración y nos invito. Un detallado.

En general los dos platos y entrante probados han sido buenos. La atención del servicio correcta y ambiente adecuado. El precio algo elevado para la cantidad y sobretodo excesivo que una miniracion de patatas fritas sean 7€. El espacio entre mesas muy reducido lo que hace pérdida de intimidad para conversar.

My recent visit to Manto Negro Tapas Bar left me with a mixed but overall delightful experience. As part of an unguided Viator tour, stumbling upon this gem was a pleasant surprise. The Cochinita de Pibil Tacos were undoubtedly tasty, but I must admit, the flavor didn't quite align with what I would consider authentic. Nevertheless, the unique twist on this classic dish added an interesting touch, showcasing the chef's creativity and willingness to experiment. The Falafel with Tzatziki Sauce was a highlight, offering a delightful departure from the traditional Spanish fare. The falafel was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, perfectly complemented by the creamy tzatziki sauce. A fusion of flavors that worked surprisingly well. Now, let's talk about their Sangria – a true star of the evening. Rich, fruity, and refreshingly chilled, it stood out as a definite must-try. The blend of ingredients was spot-on, making it a perfect companion to the diverse range of tapas. The ambiance of Manto Negro Tapas Bar was intimate, creating a cozy atmosphere that enhanced the overall dining experience. Whether you're here for a casual meal or a romantic evening, the setting lends itself well to both. Service was a standout aspect of our visit. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful suggestions that added to the enjoyment of our meal.

Autumn 2023, Sunny day in Palma de Mallorca (Spain), went to meet my lovely friend after some years away; strolling through the city somehow we ended up at this culinary gem. Loved my beer 🍺 served along with melted Cheesy nachos and avocado and some amazing smooth cream. Then had some tasty and tender pork belly accompanied with Coleslaw and some sweet potatoes. The meat was Unbelievably well marinated and with the right amount of sauce so the flavours will explode in your mouth. Couldn't help myself licking my finger after every bite. If anything has to improve it maybe the attention of the waiters as I had to waive several times to order / pay. A bill of 40€.. Well for this much food and Quality with ×2 🍻 and a Cola for my friend I think it was more than worth it. Great for sharing or if your want it all for you like me give it a go. Good spot with value, "loos" need updates..

A great spot to stop in for a snack and drink. The pizza pictured was okay, I probably wouldn't order it again. But the Empanadas were excellent, I would recommend those. The prices were fair for the items you recieved. Would recommend.

Fuimos el pasado fin de semana a comer (teníamos ganas de probarlo desde hace tiempo) y si bien la ubicación es muy buena, el local es incomodísimo. Es muy, muy, muy pequeño pues aún así hay 12 o 14 mesas dentro, algo que hace que éstas estén exageradamente pegadas y no hay intimidad ninguna para hablar (porque los de las mesas de izquierda y derecha están literalmente pegados... De hecho, no tenía ni sitio para poner mi abrigo ni mi bolso... Una incomodidad absoluta y muy pocas miras). El equipo es bastante amable pero es cierto que la comida, en general, no está a la altura (además de que, para la calidad de lo que comes, es carísimo con más de 50 euros por persona...). Pedimos unos huevos rotos mallorquines y os digo YA que la patatas eran congeladas (no hay que ser ingeniera para ver que la patatas que tienen todas exactamente el mismo corte, no son patatas del día sino de bolsa). Los bastones de berenjena con miel pues eso, sin más. Una receta básica que tampoco aportaba mucho más de lo que es. Como plato principal pedimos los canelones de langostino. La salsa muy buena y la pasta muy buena pero eran de todo menos canelones. Un canelón se rellena con un picadito o estofadito de carne, de pescado o de marisco. En este caso, era una pasta de canelón rellena (simplemente) con 4 o 5 langostinos. Resumen: el sitio es para turistas. Si eres de la isla (como nosotros) y amante de la buena cocina (como también somos), no pierdas tiempo ni dinero en este sitio porque, pese a que nos hubiera gustado que fuera de otra forma, no cumple con las expectativas de lo que "vende" con su imagen.

Es rico, pero extremadamente caro para lo que es. Probamos otros del sector de precio similar, pero realmente exquisitos (donde sí compensa el precio digamos). El servicio super amable y rápido, nada que decir al respecto. El lugar es pequeño, por lo que si te toca adentro se hace un poco estrecho y bullicioso. En general diría que está overpriced.

Stopped in for a quick drink and a couple of tapas, but ended up waiting over an hour and a half just for two tapas and two glasses of wine. We tried the tacos and empanadas — both were actually very good. The tacos had juicy, flavorful meat and the empanadas were perfectly fried and crispy. Unfortunately, the service was painfully slow. We had hoped to try a few more dishes, but after such a long wait for the first round, we decided to call it a night. Great food, but not worth the frustration.

Muy buen vino blanco (que da nombre al restaurante) y una gastronomía mediocre a precio de alta gastronomía. El personal educado pero sin conocimientos mínimos de lo que están sirviendo. Por ejemplo, uno de los camareros nos aseguró que el bacalao era fresco (y no desalado) pero al probarlo era obvio que era desalado. Los camareros deberían tener un mínimo conocimiento de cocina para responder (sin inventarselo) preguntas sencillas sobre la lo que sirven. Salir pagando una cena de dos por casi 100€ de una calidad mediocre se siente poco sofisticado. A pesar de que pretenden ser un restaurante refinado, no lo son.

I have never experienced such unfriendly and disgusting treatment anywhere! We had good meals at this tapas bar a few times when we were in Palma! We passed by there yesterday and I urgently needed to go to the toilet! I went in and politely asked if I could use the toilet in return for a small tip! The employee turned me away in such a derogatory and unfriendly manner, saying that his toilets were for guests only! If someone did this without asking, they could understand such a reaction, but this is completely incomprehensible to me. I have never experienced anything like this before! What a shame! We will obviously never go to the restaurant again!

Worst place ever! We ordered two pizzas, but only got one because the server couldn’t talk English. After we asked for the other pizza he started screaming at us and blaming us for the mistake. We later talked to the owner, but she was worse than the server. Rude and awful customer service. Also got food poisoning from the food and the table was dirty.

Rude and unprofessional service, confrontative and aggressive from the first moment. Beside the debatable overall quality of the food, they served a fried chicken...inside raw. We sent it back, the waiters did not even ask why, we paid and run away, even feeling very unwelcome. Never again, the best way to ruin your dinner.

We had a vaucher from Viator for Tapas tour. When we arrived, we could feel that waiters were not very happy about our arrival. Atmosphere was not welcoming. We have just ate what was included on the tour and left without ordering anything else. Sangria was served in a small water glass and did not taste like much of wine in it. Food was OK. But general experience was unpleasant. I would not recommend this place.

We entered at 10:00 PM. One order was wrong; we ordered one thing but received something else. During the meal, we noticed a huge cockroach right by the table inside! The waiter saw it too and said it came from outside... It's now 5 AM, and for the past 2 hours, we've had stomach pains, vomiting, and diarrhea!!! I do not recommend and advise against it!
