Such a beautiful and lightly fragrant treat to enjoy the shaded California sunshine under the Wisteria! We had the steak salad, seafood paella, and tortilla soup. Everything was served elegantly and deliciously tasty. Service was prompt and friendly.

Such a peaceful dining experience, I always enjoy coming here for lunch on a sunny day when I am in town. A little expensive but everything is high quality and delicious. Gorgeous gardens to walk around, feels like you are in Europe! Definitely recommend the salmon salad. There is a parking lot with ample amount of parking spots. I always make a reservation ahead of time.

Service and location were lovely. We got seated right next to the center pool/fountain. The atmosphere is very secret-garden-esque, nestled in the larger Allied Arts Guild center, among beautiful lush bushes of hydrangeas. They had a lot of vegetarian options. Definitely recommend the mushroom empanadas! Mushroom empanadas 5/5 Popcorn cauliflower 3.5/5 Salmon salad 3.5/5 Italian orzo soup 4/5 Garlic bread 4/5 Mushroom & gruyere panini 4/5 Crab and avocado eggs Benedict 4/5 Overall would come back!

This is my second time to Cafe Wisteria with my family within a year, the food is good, and the atmosphere is even better, especially on a sunny weekday without big crowds. We were seated next to the pond and little spring, so it was even more soothing and tranquil. After lunch, we just took a walk around the shops and cafes in the complex of Allied Arts Guild, the nature garden was very colorful with the flowers and Spanish architecture. Highly recommended for people to meet and chat in outdoor space! Cheers!

We go here whenever we want to eat lunch in a lovely garden setting on a beautiful day next to a gurgling fountain. Our table had an umbrella so we were perfectly shaded. My medium cooked hamburger on a brioche bun and wedges of potato fries were so good I ate it all even though I'm supposedly keto and don't eat carbs typically. The desserts are beautiful and good but the best dessert by far was the ginger creme brulee with a delicate texture (not thick and pasty) and it wasn't too sweet at all despite having a turbinado or demerara sugar sprinkling in addition to the usual caramelized sugar coating. The custard wasn't sweetened it seemed so the balance was perfect. I ordered an English breakfast tea to go with it and the teapot that it came in was lovely and added to the garden ambience. Perfect for an early Mother's Day lunch which we were having. I don't think we would order the bread pudding again though. It was fine but on the dense side and was the only dish we didn't feel good enough to finish but the other two desserts were completely devoured. The third dessert was the molten chocolate cake. It was not the best molten chocolate cake but it was the most beautifully plated with enough ice cream and we very much enjoyed it. There's indoor seating but I can't imagine going to this restaurant and not making the most of the beautiful outdoor seating in a garden setting. Don't forget to shop at the little shops next to the cafe before and after lunch such as the gift shop which benefits the Stanford children's hospital and is 100% volunteer run so be sweet to the volunteers in there. It's always nice to wander all the cute boutiques there as well as the art gallery. One of the artists is always there at the desk and their work will be outside the gallery on the easel.

A very peaceful setting surrounded by gorgeous gardens and beautiful architecture. The food was good as well and great service/hospitality. We hosted a baby shower brunch here and absolutely loved the experience. The vegetarian options are limited but everything we tried tasted good. Highly recommend for a nice brunch with friends or family. Go for outdoor patio seating if you can get the reservation.

visited Cafe Wisteria on a Tuesday afternoon, and the weather was perfect for outdoor dining. The tables are spaced well apart, so you have plenty of privacy. There is also a beautiful yard with a water fountain, which makes for a nice little walk before or after your meal. I ordered the grilled salmon Nicoise salad, and it was delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the salad was fresh and flavorful. My friend ordered the short rib sandwich, and she said it was also very good. The service at Cafe Wisteria was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He made sure we had everything we needed, and he was always happy to answer our questions. I would definitely recommend Cafe Wisteria to anyone looking for a great place to enjoy a meal outdoors in Menlo Park.

It's a little gem hidden in a residential area in Menlo Park. The Cafe is open for lunch 11am-2pm. I made a reservation for 1pm, but was told the outdoor seating is full and will be closed for the day so we had to sit indoor. The vibe at the restaurant is perfect for the spring time and you can stroll around the Allied Arts Guild after lunch. The food used locally sourced ingredients and had an aesthetic presentation.

The food and service were both great. No complaints for anything, which can be rare nowadays. I couldn’t decide between the chicken carbonara and chicken pot pie so my brother and I decided to get both and share :) I loved the carbonara and he loved the pot pie so it worked out well! We also got the crab avocado benedict and french onion soup which were delightful. The decor and surroundings of the building were decked out festively and provided a warm vibe 😌

Very professional service and a great setting. The menu has a number of good options: the salmon was a high quality, as was the chicken carbonara. Portion size was generous, so we didn’t get to try the desserts.

We are so glad we chose Allied Arts for our wedding! The gardens are beautiful, food is absolutely delicious and service is impeccable. I especially would like to mention the manager Tiana W as she did an amazing job for us, helping to organize and deliver the best celebration we could imagine! Bravo! We can’t thank you enough!

After at least my fourth meal here, I'm convinced that the food is solidly mediocre and that, absent the beautiful outdoor dining area, reviews would not be nearly as high as they are. My opinion/observation is that this restaurant caters to an older clientele, which would be more likely to give a pass on the food to be able to enjoy the beautiful gardens. My friend and I had lunch on a Tuesday. He had the salmon salad. "Salad" being a pile of arugula. Actually, checking the menu, it's the salmon nicoise. I don't remember the nicoise-y part, just the arugula. I remember, too, the smell of not-that-fresh salmon wafting over to my side of the table. Tuesday. Last week's salmon? I had the crab avocado eggs Benedict. I was sitting there wondering what THAT smell was. Turned out, it was the not-so-fresh crab, which I pushed to the side. Should I have given the kitchen a chance to make it right? Had I been hosting and paying, absolutely. But I was being taken out by an elderly friend, and I didn't want to make him feel bad. One item on the menu stood out...the Grown Up Grilled Cheese and Tomato Bisque. Brie and cheddar. Cheddar, sure. Brie? Not sure what makes it "grown up." The old school tomato bisque? Cream soup, cheese, butter, maybe mayo. Lots and lots of fat. The setting, of course, is beautiful. Inside? Not as much.

Quite expensive for what you get. Had the bison burger which never mentioned blue cheese which was ok (but overpowered by the blue cheese). This apparently wasn't communicated with the server or the printed menu. Latte's weren't too good either. Service of food/kitchen slow but the garden and location is lovely.

The pictured grilled cheese and tomato bisque is the same price as their meat and seafood dishes...broaching $30. Note the size of the crouton...oh, I mean grilled cheese sandwich. Um, I looked under the salad to see if part of my meal was hiding. I had to ask if it was the "normal" portion size. They responded that it was...so if you feel like being starved to death and fed like a toddler size portion, this is the place for you. I'm disgusted!
