I decided to check out this spot after hearing it’s under new management, and I’m glad I did! I ordered a burrito, and wow—it was fantastic! The flavors were on point, and it hit the spot perfectly. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Bonus: they’re open every day, so you can satisfy your cravings whenever they strike!

The Cashiers are always friendly. The food is delicious. I ordered 8 beef tacos. I've been going for years here. Fried fish is good too.
The burritos here are amazing. The steak is juicy and tender. The tortillas are hand-made in house and elevate the flavor and experience
The food really good, the señoras that work here super nice and sweet. The tortillas that are hand made so good! Definitely coming back here and trying something else. I got the tacos Dorados so good! The red salsa is good it has a small kick but nothing to much. Everything tasted really good. Just be careful at nighttime when u want to come here last time someone threw a baseball on the hood of our car.
I had a breakfast plate . jueves con jamon here and it was delicious beans were perfect definitely homemade and ,Hand made yellow corn tortillas Were perfect Don’t listen to bad reviews. Price of food is up everywhere will definitely try a dinner here I didnt eat here yesterday because of reviews but I took a chance today and I’m glad I did
Sabor A Mexico is a small eatery. It has more of an authentic style of food than the other chain restaurants. They have really good Birria. They're tacos are excellent. And They're burritos are insanely big!!! Not to mention very good as well. They do sit down and take out.

Service is excellent, and the place is clean, but the food that we ordered wasn't good. I had birria, nachos, while my husband had carnitas burrito. Nah. We liked the food when it used to be Sabor a Mexico. We went back for our favorite shrimp burrito, but they took it out of the menu, and it seems to have a new owner.

The burrito I ordered was ok nothing really great to talk about. Overpriced for the burrito. Took awhile to get my order, only two people working one cashier who is slow and one cook. They do get a steady flow of customers.
I decided to try this place since my favorite place raised the price of their bean and cheese burrito from $4.38 to $5.48. I went to Sabor and ordered a bean and cheese burrito. Their price: $7.11!!!!!! I was starving, so I said ok. When it was ready, I asked for chips and the cashier went back to the cash register. “You’re going to charge me for chips?” She just said “yes”. I told her I would never be back.
I had been coming here for over 10 years. The veggie burrito and the salsa bar kept me coming back. Sadly, COVID may have killed this place. They shut down the salsa bar and don't have the pickled carrots and jalapenos behind the counter to include with meals. The flour tortillas are still good, but the veggie burrito was not what it was to the extent that my wife lost interest in it. As for me that loss of the carrots and jalapenos losses me. This used to be a burrito worth driving across town. Now I saw goodbye to a restaurant that is no longer great.
WARNING NEW OWNERS!! The burrito now comes with lettuce 🤢 Orders no longer come with chips 😞 Tacos are expensive! about $4 each !!

My 2 teenage sons went to get food and placed 2 orders. 1st one was 2 quesadillas which were ok. The second order that they waited an additional 26 minutes for was 2 hamburger specials. Fries where definitely reheated old and burned. The hamburger buns on 1 were also burned. They didn't provide a receipt so my son went back to ask for one. This is beyond disappointing. The fries are not edible at all.

I've been coming to sabor since 2006 and while the late night hours have changed over the time it never bothered me. My brothers and sisters had made it a ritual to have sabor after long hard worked weeks or family gatherings. Therefore it burdens me to write this review. However as of the last 8 or so months there has been a new cook (some lady) who cannot make a simple regular burrito to save her life. Consistently has little to no meat, and paying for an asada burrito and getting a rice and bean burrito is an insult. Also the burritos have regularly been light on all ingredients as of the last 8 months. The final straw for me was tonight when I ordered a few burritos de asada y tacos de asada. The burritos were exploding with oil or fat and the tacos were leaking with oil or fat. The food is just simply undesirable. Furthermore, the tortillas are no longer made the same as before. The tortillas and the quality of the cooking was what separated sabor from all other restaurants. Now this place is no better than street vendors. Save your money and get Mexican food were the cook gives a damn.
I didn’t know they changed ownership until today when I stopped by to get a torta .. it was the worst I mean worst torta I’ve ever had . I wish the new owners the best. But I am never going back .
No more handmade Flour Tortillas. The burrito is not the same. I will not be coming back again 😞. The salsa is not good. The only thing that was really good was the JAMAICA.
I've been coming to Sabor a Mexico for over 20 years and I have to stop coming here. Under the new ownership the food has completely changed -- small burritos, the carne asada was really salty and dry, and the tortillas don't taste hand made anymore. And their burritos now have lettuce for some reason. The burrito came out suspiciously fast, because the meat wasn't even reheated quickly on the flat top. The new staff seem nice, but they really have to change the name because Katerina's Restaurant just doesn't have the Sabor a Mexico anymore.
Extremely overpriced for tacos that were below average. I know handmaking the tortillas is what bumps up the price but paying practically 5$ a taco, that was dry no toppings and the tortilla was too doughy. Will never be coming back, would not reccommend whatsoever.
I used to come here when it was "Sabor A Mexico". When the burritos where made with hand made tortillas and a good size. Now they claim to be hand made tortillas, but I don't think they are not and the burritos are very small. They can really work on their flavor. Don't get me wrong, I don't know about the rest of the menu, but if they can't get a simple burrito of asada with beans, rice and extra cheese, then I don't think I will try something else.
The ladies are very nice but the food is not good at all I bought the tamales to try they had been microwaved so they r frozen prior to u ordering the food was so bad my daughter didn’t touch the tacos de papa the only good thing are the hand made tortillas One tamale was queso n there was no cheese The enchiladas had can sauce The horchata is good
This place isn't like it use to be, I went in on Tuesday for lunch. Ordered some asada nacho, and horchata, and some lil candies. My total was 23 dollars!!!!! Then when the nachos came, this plate barely had any Carne asada. If I would have picked out the Carne I think it would only be enough meat for a taco! If I'm paying 16 dollars for nachos it better have of asada. The nachos weren't even that good to begin with!!! I've been coming here for YEARS!!!! guess I have to find a new spot to eat nachos.
I've been coming to Sabor A Mexico for over 20 years and just found out it has new ownership and decided to try it out, hoping the quality remained. Sad to say, it was a complete let down, portions were miniscule and prices are through the roof for a fraction of the taste I used to love. Unfortunately this will be the last time I give my business to this restaurant.
