I like coming here! Sure, it‘s not the fanciest of places, but it‘s clean, cosy, in the neighbourhood and the pizza cook is certainly child friendly, asking my little nephew the last time we visited, to join him make a pizza together, which he proudly presented and served without charging for it. It may not seem like a grand gesture to some, but for the little one it certainly meant the world in that moment. As to the owner, he may seem grumpy, yet has always responded in a polite and professional manner towards us - be it when welcoming and fairing us goodbye, taking orders or answering questions. As it’s a family-run restaurant afaik, it mainly serves standard dishes, so you won’t expect a gourmet level cuisine, but what you see is what you get and the lunch menu for 10€ (or maybe more in the meantime) was freshly prepared (had a seafood dish), reasonable in price and tasty. Also tried the pizza a few times and would certainly recommend it. Although I don’t live here, don’t speak the language and wouldn’t consider myself to a profound restaurant critic, I‘d suggest royal, if you‘re looking for a nice, unpretentious place suitable for lunch as well as family dinners (also with young kids) serving decent means at a fair price. I‘ll be back for sure ☺️

While traveling the Via Francigena, we had the pleasure of discovering this place. We ate truly in quantity and quality. The pilgrims are well-liked and never leave without a smile. :) The pilgrim's menu is always varied and very reasonably priced. This place deserves the best. Enjoy your dinner!!! Have a good life!!!

I happened to be here last year by chance and I had a great time so at the first opportunity I went back with my son and we were not disappointed at all, a beautiful restaurant very clean and welcoming, a peaceful environment where you can have a quiet lunch and above all eating very well prepared dishes, good ingredients and good service and to take into account that we simply had lunch with a fixed price menu for only 10 euros, you eat a first course, second course, side dish with a choice of several different dishes and then water, wine and coffee. We then also had dessert and when it was time to pay it hadn't been noted so I pointed it out to Vincenzo at home and he, having been pleased to show him honesty, also offered me a bitter..... surely when it happens that I pass through Pavia and I have to have lunch or dinner I won't look for any other restaurant and that's where I'll go! Thanks

Excellent value. Excellent pizza and seafood entrees. Takeout pizza and takeaway options, from appetizers to desserts. Neat and welcoming location. Strategically located near the covered bridge and the historic center. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommended!

Typical Lombard cuisine restaurant, menu €15 rissoto di mari second grilled meat with salad or potatoes, bread and wine. The extra large and delicious medium-dough pizzas. Friendly and homemade service. A surprise for its homeliness.

I've always ordered pizzas from them, but they always got something wrong. They also said they'd give me an extra pizza next time, but that never happened. The worst thing was when I ordered three pizzas and paid a whopping €35. When I asked for an explanation, a very rude girl answered, saying it was written on the door. However, I had ordered over the phone and no one had told me there was a surcharge that day. Terrible service.

What a dreadful dinner. I went for the 12€ set meal recommended by my Ostello and it was absolutely dreadful. At lunchtime it might be good but not at night. It was like supermarket food warmed up. Have the pizza instead. At least that's freshly cooked.
