Quality, well-seasoned chicken and they serve beans with the salsa and queso! ♡ i appreciate how varied their menu is compared to similar restaurants in the area. Fun decor as well. Theyre a little bit pricy but not excessively so, Ill definately be back again and again.

We had a great dining experience! Yasmeen was a fantastic server; friendly, efficient, personable, and attentive to our needs throughout the meal. Our food came out in a timely manner, and everything was fresh and flavorful. Jojo, one of the managers, also stopped by to check in on us after we were served, which added a really nice touch. We had the pleasure of having Jason as our waiter during our recent visit to Lupe, and he truly made all the difference. He was attentive not only to us but to every table he served. We asked about the spaghetti squash—which we noticed was no longer on the menu—and instead of just saying he didn’t know, Jason went above and beyond by checking with the manager. The manager even came over to speak with us, which was such a thoughtful touch and all thanks to Jason’s initiative. We’ve dined at Lupe many times over the years and have had a fair share of mixed experiences, which honestly led us to stop coming to this location for a while. But we decided to give it another try for our anniversary—our first date was here 16 years ago—and Jason made it completely worth it. His exceptional customer service reminded us why we loved coming here in the first place. Thank you, Jason, for making our anniversary dinner special. You made a lasting impression, and because of you, we’ll definitely be back.

Just get the beef fajitas… nothing else they are the best! Comes with all the fixings (even sour cream and cheese). It’s well worth the prices. If you insist on ordering something else it’s all very good and the margaritas are excellent. Been to Lupe’s at least 40 times at different locations and it’s always wonderful.

Wow! Delicious food and fantastic service. The food smelled and looked so good that we didn't get to take any photos. We ordered the trio fajitas, carne asada, a quesadilla plate and the huge margaritas. (I think they were called barrel margaritas) We got one frozen and one on the rocks. My dish was the Carne Asada and it was magnificent! So tender and flavorful. I will definitely be back when I come to Texas.

Well I will say this ... wow! I had tilapia veracruz and it was so delisioso! Super delicious hahaha🥰 I really loved it! The service we received here was remarkable. Our server, Torrey, was friendly and delightful, and enhanced our dining experience. The beef and chicken fajitas were good with an adequate serving of sides. The margaritas were truly the highlight of our night. We both asked for something sweet and strong. A request to which our server recommended the platinum margarita or black barrel margarita. We got both, and our expectations were indeed exceeded! A great experience that I will repeat soon.

My order was filled incorrectly. The manager filled the order correctly and delivered it to my house. I ordered the food at the Pearland location and I live in Rosharon. Now, that is good customer service. I was very pleased.

Doordasher here, I know Saturdays are pretty stacked but the service from the delivery desk was amazing, I've never felt more seen and informed by the servers. Usually late orders are pretty annoying but im surprised I wasn't a tad bit annoyed by it, I was constantly updated and reassured by Juan and he even went out of his way personally to make sure I get my order as fast as possible. Might be that other restaurant doesn't give much attention to dashers but lupe really set the standard.

Our first time trying this place, we’ve been hesitant from reviews. Well every time we pass by it’s always busy. So we stopped in for an early dinner 5 on a Saturday. Everything was exceptional! The server was so much better then amazing. The manager Johnny came and asked about our experience here and explained how everything is fresh and homemade, and you can tell.I have nothing but great things to say about it! Exceptional all around! Would definitely recommend. And the margaritas are AMAZING! Definitely our new favorite place!

Lupe Tortilla is a top notch Tex-Mex chain. Been here once or twice a long time ago and recently tried this one for brunch on a Saturday. The vibes were chill and the beers were cold. They have a pretty good brunch menu but we came for the fajitas, and they did not disappoint. The beef was tender and flavorful with a side of onions in a griddle. While the plate was warm, we were hoping to see that classic sizzle on its way out from the kitchen to our table. We didn't get that this time unfortunately. We ordered the 1lb beef fajita platter along with a Monterrey chicken plate. This was way too much food for 3 grown men. Our waitress was great and checked on us often, bringing out all types of fresh salsa on the house. Overall I would definitely recommend Lupe for some quick and tasty Tex-Mex! This is also one of the few places open early for brunch on the weekends.

Delicious!!! Went here for dinner on a Saturday night. Were promptly seated and served with chips and salsa (yumm). Once we placed our orders (chicken fajitas and red enchiladas) it was a bit of a wait however our server (sosa?!) kept checking in and making sure we had enough water, chips etc. My husband loves his spicy sauce and his request was met by their spicy habanero sauce as well as roasted habanero pepper in top of the fajitas!! Well the wait for the food did not disappoint us! The food was hot, fresh and very tasty. The portions are big enough for sharing and they came with fresh guacamole and rice and beans. Love the service and the dedicated effort to the tex mex experience, servers will talk to you in spanglish, which is consistent with their menu. 😅 Service and food are great, but the kitchen staff is not flexible with custom requests unless you give em a hard time. The server knew her way around the menu, and I liked that she was bold in making suggestions that didn't dissapoint! While the kids' menu could be improved with better portions and sides, the little Mac n Cheese bowl is always a hit with my toddler. 🧀👧

Let me break this down for you: 1. Avocado dip for appetizer was on point. Very tasty and fresh. 2. Service here was extremely attentive and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better server. 3. Chips, salsa, and Charro beans! Can't really say enough about the salsa, it was Smokey and a very deep flavor that I really enjoyed. 4. I ordered the chicken burrito and was very impressed on how flavorful it was. Comes with the side of rice charro beans lettuce and tomatoes. I was only able to eat half of it, this will tell you about how big it was. I definitely want to stress to everybody that this place has got to be your next stop for when you want some authentic Mexican food.

To me the food was very tasty. I had the Fajita burrito. It sounded good to me. It was tasty and full of flavor. I stopped in during a busy time and had a great experience. All the staff I felt with were friendly and nice. I am not sure why overall rating is 4.2 if they had issues years ago then they definitely worked through them. I would recommend giving them a try. Over all the people around me we enjoying their food and I didn’t hear any complaints. Good place, good food and I will definitely be going back.

Visiting from out of state our family brought us here. Everyone got the beef and chicken fajitas except me. I had to r fajitas chicken salad. We all ordered margaritas also. The whole meal was enjoyable and we topped it off with churros for dessert. Yum! Would recommend to anyone looking for a great Mexican restaurant.

Stopped in for dinner. Food tasted good and the margarita was very delicious and had plenty to refill it with as they brought a small container with the extra. I had the chicken enchiladas which tasted very good. It was not busy at all and we got in and out pretty fast.

That's rare now days, and speaks volumes about his character!! Lupe tortilla is definitely a Leader in tex mex it's always so fresh and hardly misses If you suffer from indecisive tendencies as I do i'd recommend the Mixed Grill you get to try a few of their main dishes in smaller portions on one plate. The pink ribbon pomegranate margarita for October is amazing. Really really enjoyed it. It is not super sweet where will start making your stomach hurt how the liquor be too sweet. This was a great spot. We had a business lunch planned, and the sponsors were talking about just ordering pizzas. I said, "There's a Lupe Tortillas right around the corner. Why on earth would we NOT go there?!" It was a GREAT decision. This place with little notice was able to setup a table for eight in a way that kept everyone engaged, and the service was spot on throughout. The food was fantastic, too. The puffy queso and enchilada, the crispy taco, all just tremendously flavorful and delicious. I would definitely return.

As for the entrees, everything was delicious. However, I felt like the barbacoa needed more flavor. The food and service here was amazing and above our expectations. We ordered the Queso and Guacamole as a starter. For the entrees: Streak Shrimp and Chicken fajitas. The Cedar Plank Salmon and 2 kids meals. Which came with dessert for the kids. Our server went above and beyond. We never had to ask for drink refills..or anything, she was on top of it! The jalapeño tarter sauce? Phenomenal! I need them to sell that in a jar! The food was delicious. Everything had a great flavor profile, came out hot and fresh. I will say the booths could probably use some refreshing on the cushioning. Maybe it was just ours but I felt as though I was sliding off; it was sunken and slanted. I’m 5ft 110lbs….so yeah might be time refresh the seating but other than that we enjoyed the food and the service and will definitely be back!!

I really love their food, it’s delicious…but the inconsistency in the cooking of their rice makes it unappealing. Sometimes the rice is perfect, sometimes it’s undercooked. Ewww. Rice is one of their main sides, it should be perfected.

We went for brunch. The waffles were light, fluffy and delicious. The burritos and tacos were OK. So, if you want "breakfast" food, this is a great place. If you want more traditional Mexican... it's just OK.

This was my first time taking my dad to this restaurant and he was not impressed 😒 they gave us a first timers welcome appetizer which was a beef fajita. It was very cold 🥶 and I don't ever recall fajitas being served cold...we were both disappointed 😔 the server asked us twice in a short period of time if we were ready to order. It made my dad uncomfortable so I ordered for the both of us. I clearly stated that we wanted the beef enchilada plate but she brought us cheese instead. After making her aware of the mistake she offered to correct it and bring us beef enchiladas without replacing the entire order and expecting us to eat the cold beans and rice. I asked for a manager and she decided to bring us a warm replacement of beans and rice. Maybe it is the ice cream station but my dad and I agreed that Johnny Tamales is much better

This has become one of my most favorite restaurants now. Being vegetarian, there are some great options on the menu. The food was delicious, ambience was good and service was awesome, special mention to Cam for his service!!

Lupe Tortilla was a good choice for Mexican Cuisine. The service was good, but the server had several tables and was a little overwhelmed at times. The server had several tables with more than 6 customers which resulted in the server forgetting several items ordered on the menu. With the amount of people served, I think the server did a good job. However, the hostess should not sit multiple parties greater than 6 in the same area with one server. It causes confusion on the server, and therefore frustrates the customer. Overall, the food was good for the value. My family and I were satisfied with what we ordered. Just prepare to wait for extended times on the food orders if there is only one server in the area with multiple parties. I would recommend this restaurant.

March 24 2024 We had the queso and avocado stuffed crab. As always the queso is delicious and the crab was really good too. Our service was excellent and it wasn’t too terribly loud this afternoon. We will come back, again and again. The place was pretty quiet today but we did beat the dinner rush. Our server, Emily, was pleasant and friendly. The food was good. The queso was delicious and the salsa was also good but should come with a warning. It is very spicy. Hubby and I shared the flautas, which were tasty but a little chewy on the ends.

I got flautas de pollo and it was alright. The salsa and chips were ok. I didn't like the salsa much. We waited an hour to get in, and service was slow. The steak was good. Food was pricey.

Atmosphere was good very chill vibes . Service was good staff were all very nice it was just a bit slow I guess because it was full that day I do wish I could’ve had more water or drinks . Food if I’m being honest the chips and Queso were probably my favorite the guacamole was really good 💯 authentic probably one of the best in the fast food chain . Now when it comes to the food plating looks amazing but the taste at least in my part it wasn’t giving . I was trying to find authentic Mexican food and this wasn’t it it felt like prepackaged food idk why but the flavors were lacking the tortillas I I tough they would be fresh they were very rubbery and felt like the ones I buy at the store. The enchilada sauce tasted very similar to the prepackaged ones if they can fix or change the flavors on the food to more authentic the beans tasted very over cooked and i didn’t like the meat in them . Other than that is cool .

First time coming here. My experience was very different from other restaurants I’ve eaten at. The wait wasn’t too bad for a Sunday .The hostess said thirty minutes. That was fine. She was not friendly at all to my family . I won’t go any further. The accommodation for eight people at a table for six was tight. The first Manager said he could not get us another table at all. Which was bad customer service. Didn’t know his name. The second Manager Joe was the opposite. He came to our table asked how everything was going. He offered to give us a bigger table. He checked on us very friendly. He is the only reason if I was to come back . I think some Restaurants forget good customer service is very important.

Walking in, the ambiance was really good! When it comes to the food, it was okay. I have been to other tex mex restaurants and cant help but compare. It's still a good restaurant to try out. But would I come back? Probably not.

The last thing you need to see and hear is the wait staff arguing to the point the tray one had when asking waiter, where does this go? Waiter had things in his hands he was going to take a table ..and this young lady said I'm leaving it here and walked off .to the point myself and other guest were in shock..our waitress was in a bad mood and nothing nice we told her would turn her frown upside down..At the end we wrote an encouraging note on receipt with tip and when my husband said thank you..she just ignored him and walked away.. Lupe Tortilla is not a cheap place to eat, so when you want to splurge a little..you expect a great meal with a fun atmosphere.. food of course was good but the atmosphere gave it a very salty taste in my mouth. Was in the mood for some fajitas or a steak, was thinking either saltgrass or Lupe. Decided to give Lupe a shot since it’s been a long time. There was no wait when I arrived and seated immediately. Waiter came by and seemed too eager to push the fajitas. So much so that he said other items on the menu were taking longer since one of their ovens was out of order. I could understand the need to push other items if that is the case. Don’t want a bottleneck in the kitchen. After trying to decide I asked the waiter if I could get a fajita taco a la carte on top of my order of steak and enchiladas. He went off to put in the order very quickly. So much so I was unsure if he knew I wanted my steak medium since he didn’t even ask. While waiting I caught my waiter as he made rounds to verify that my steak would be cooked med. he assured me that they shoot for medium rare-medium with all the meat. I felt like there wouldn’t be a problem. My taco arrived and it was delicious. After I finished up I was waiting for the rest of the order, the waiter asked if I would like a dessert or something else to which I responded I was saving room for the rest of my order. He said he misunderstood my order and that he only took my taco order. That he was very sorry and put a rush on the rest of the order. I waited for about an hour to receive the food. The plate was sizzling hot when I cut into the steak It was very medium in the middle but it lacked seasoning. I could tell when I received the plate that it didn’t have any seasoning on the crust so I asked for salt and pepper immediately. But it was very bland even though it was bacon wrapped. I asked for some lime butter on the side to help it out. He said he would come back with that asap. While waiting one of the managers came by and asked if everything was good, I told him what was wrong and he offered to go get me the butter while I was sitting but thought my waiter would return faster than what actually happened. It took him longer than expected because he went to bring a drink refill to the table next to me, while my steak continued to cook on the cast iron. After he left and came back with the lime butter I was still left unsatisfied because the steak was very grainy and dry. Which threw me off since it was still pink but figuring there was a rush on the steak it didn’t have time to rest for the juices to be reabsorbed. Afterwards all that wait I just was over the Lupe experience and wanted to go. As my waiter brought the check I asked for the manager, to see what they could do to make things right with the quality of the food. He came by and really wanted to reassure me by apologizing (albeit very smugly and in a condescending way) that they strive to make every meal with their best effort. Again he really wanted to say that their fajitas were what they were known for and that I should get the fajitas next time, even though I did get the fajita taco. He mentioned that he would comp me my drink to make things right. As a chef I know I would never send out a subpar meal if it didn’t meet my own personal standard. Sadly this place doesn’t have the same ethos, just fajitas and only fajitas.

After a long week of work, it is usually great to enjoy drinks and a dinner night out. In this case, not so great. I understand Friday as being a busy night, but for a bustling well established restaurant as Lupe Tortilla in Pearland, I thought they would have things a little smoother than a start up restaurant. Tonight seemed to be the first night opening with problem after problem. As I watch other table be frustrated with such poor service, I thought our simple orders would be a breeze. As I write this I listened to the manager JoJo apologized to the table behind me for a miscue on their order and offering to credit for a mistake and poor service, and I see the woman at the table in front of me mumble about the length of time for their food and drinks. Well, I can say I understand the frustration as our food came out only slightly warm and way before our drinks ever made it to the table. But I was ok until the wrong drinks came out twice and the poor service from the bar staff, Andrea for belittling the wait staff from trying to get the orders correct. And watching JoJo allow this to happen with him having to credit customer after customer. I encourage not to patronize on a Friday night as staff cannot handle the influx of people. While I really enjoy the food at Lupe, they have missed the mark tonight.

The title of this complaint is called piss, poor customer, service piss, poor communication, and cold food! I’ve visited this location on December. 26th. I Placed an order for the tex mex enchiladas to go. I had an accident on the 23rd. I burned myself very bad and I had been out of the house for a couple days. I decided to treat myself to an early dinner and a movie. I’ve placed my order and waited over 20 minutes to receive it. I Got in the car was headed to the movies to see the color purple and i attempted to eat my meal before I got there. MY FOOD WAS COLD and the cheese was not melted. I went to the movie and on the way home stopped in to get my order corrected. The manager that I spoke to was named Ben. He put in an order, which again took over 25 minutes to make. He asked me to look at the food before I left, and I just wanted to make sure that the food was hot. Which it was. I did not look at the contents of the food. I was just making sure it was hot. When I got home, this is what I received. A plate with hardly any rice, and there was no lettuce and tomatoes which really ties the dish together and again my cheese was NOT melted. I went back home to eat my dinner and I had to drive back to the restaurant for a third time and I made them remake my order. The food still was not prepared correctly. I was in an extreme amount of pain due to having second and third-degree burns on a large part of my stomach. I am no longer going to patronize Lupe tortilla restaurants because there seems to be a disconnect with a person spending their hard earned money for their food and the customer service they are receiving. This is not the only location I’ve had issues with. I’ve had issues with the Kirby location. Again, I spent my money, but did not receive what I paid for and management does not call you back. Today is January 7 and I’ve left four messages 2 with corporate and 2 with the Pearland location. Your customer service sucks!

I ordered fajitas through DoorDash when the food was delivered their were no flour tortillas. I called Lupe and they said it's not their fault because it is thru a third-party. The receptionist said that IF we want, we can go to their restaurant to pick up the tortillas. The reason why we had the food delivered is we don't have to drive there. Does that make sense? I called the Dasher and he said when I arrived the food was already in the bag. Why would you forget to place the tortillas in the plastic bag when you know someone is coming to pick it up?

If you have an ADA service animal, please do not bring them to this establishment. I suffer from a condition and my service animal is trained to detect signs of fainting. My service animal was inside of a state approved enclosed carrier. The animal is trained to stay quiet and inconspicuous to the public. We were in the restaurant for an entire hour without the animal making a single noise. The usual old white woman Karen who can't mind their business complained. I totally understand, dogs are not allowed in restaurants, I can see why her complaint is legitimate. My issue is with the restaurants manager who failed to ask me for my service animals documentation and proceeded to ask me to leave the restaurant. I've been a steady customer at this location and will be taking my business to locations that know the law and abide by the law and don't cater to Karens. I would like a formal apology from this manager. I will be filing a complaint through Texas ADA compliance agency.

This is what our Togo order looked like after we got home! In the past, we had never needed to check our order! The portions looked like a kids plate. The chicken taco tasted like nothing! The salsa was horrible! We called and spoke with the manager and he had a nonchalant attitude!! We spent over $50 there! So, new owner, don't bother by responding to this comment! Because we definitely want be coming back to this location!!

The manager did try to make the order right but I left and when I got in my truck not even 2min later my food was extremely cold. Not to mention I arrived in 10 mins after ordering and was waiting for my food. I will be disputing with my bank.

Today, on 11-15-25, I had a very unpleasant experience at this location. My sister and I sat at the bar, and while Brandy was super kind, attentive, and caring, her partner Kaitlyn was extremely rude. From the start, she threw our menus down instead of handing them to us. She spoke to us in a very aggressive tone and even entered our order incorrectly, despite confirming it with us beforehand. Later we learned it was her last day, which honestly explained a lot about her attitude. Unfortunately, the manager wasn’t helpful either. When I explained what happened, he simply said he would “talk to her” and offered to remove one item from our tab—no apology, no real acknowledgment of the situation. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this location.

I can not stand this Lupe Tortilla location. The servers are slow....literally. Placed order the night before and still had to wait. Not attentive at all while people are waiting, no updates, etc. I keep hoping it will get better but I rather drive way to the I-10 location just to get A-1 service.

I ordered my half nachos bean and cheese with extra beans as you can see there is NO BEANS I ORDERED A BEEF FAJITA AL CARBON AND THEY GAVE ME A CRUNCHY TACO I HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER 15-20 min for that MY VISIT HERE WAS HORRIBLE MY DINNER WAS RUINED 😠
