We had an amazing experience at K & P Lounge. The ambience was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable evening. We celebrated my mom's birthday there, and it was truly special. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish beautifully presented and full of flavor. The hospitality was exceptional—staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their genuine warmth and professionalism made our visit unforgettable. We can't wait to come back!
What a fantastic new addition to the neighborhood!!!! This used to be a schoolhouse, but is now a legit lounge. They have a great section with couches and a throne!!!! It's small and cozy. "K" is for Katrina and "P" is for Pamela. They have a TV above the throne and the place is incredibly bright and warm, with low, sultry lighting. They serve soul food and Caribbean food. I had ceviche, pork, pink beans, and collard greens. The ceviche had lots of chunks of shrimp and crunchy cucumbers, with a twang of vinegar and spice. I loved it. The boriqua bowl is like a big sampler and a huge hit. The group went crazy over the fried pickles and spicy crispy mango shrimp. The sweet potato fries were crispy, but not oily. Plantain chips are crispy, not sweet, and not oily either, with just the right amount of salt. The jerk chicken was the least popular dish as it isn't your standard jerk chicken. The pulled pork just falls apart perfectly. They also have an awesome full bar. Service is outstanding. Our waitress, Grace, was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and accurate. She managed our many special requests with style and "grace." We plan to come back a lot. Remember to tip well.
10/10 recommend! Absolute best soul food/Spanish food I have had in years I will be back for more!!!

Today was the grand opening, and they did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, the pernil was tender & juicy. The dj , the bartender & our waiter(s) were amazing, & attentive. The portion sizes were extremely generous. My family and I enjoyed ourselves, we will be back very soon.
The food was amazing! This establishment has good vibes from the moment I walked through the doors; good music and the ambiance in the dining area is beautiful. I ordered the colossal shrimp dinner which came with 2 sides which I chose the mac & cheese and candied yams. The portion is good and the food was absolutely satisfying! Needless to say; I’ll be returning to try out more items on the menu!
My daughter treated me for dinner and I wanted soul food. The chicken , Mac/cheese and collard greens was delicious to my liking. Only thing I was nervous about was door dash because they took long but it got here . Next time I will go get it myself.
As an Uber driver we tend to eat out a lot depending on the area we are in. I must say, I had a fantastic experience at K&P Lounge, thanks to Pamela's exceptional service. Her attention to detail and warm demeanor made my visit truly enjoyable. The ambiance was perfect, and I look forward to returning soon.
I provided DJ services at K&P. I look forward to returning as a guest. They have ample parking, easy entry, a cozy bar and space for dancing. It appears to be newly renovated. The staff were super helpful. Oh yeah, it smelled fresh and clean too!
Omgsh this place is Beautiful. The owner put thought into the decor for sure. Outside dining available in warm months. The food (especially the mac n cheese) is good. Music was good too. Down to earth folks who aim to please.
The vibes were really good. The food was 10/10 and unexpectedly really good. And the staff and owner were very nice and helpful. I 100% recommend and will be coming back.

My family and I went there for Mother’s Day a group of eight and the food was extremely extremely delicious. Just like home cook southern meal. The service was extremely phenomenon. Excellent. I will definitely be back.

Dinner menu had lots of good choices opted for porkchops and pink beans, Shirmp and Tostones and Maduros. Carrot and Red Velvet cakes were very good. It can be a bit pricey but the food is worth it. Next time will dine-in and have a cocktail or 2. Its a small place, a bit tight up front at the bar, but they do have tables outside.
Our experience dining here was satisfactory. When we walked in the interior design was great, and we were seated right away with reservations. Our waitress was kind and helpful. We went here for a birthday; great environment with great people. However, I wish that there was more variety and selection of the menu. There wasn’t that much Puerto Rican food and felt that the food wasn’t that authentic. But that is understandable because of this establishment’s recent opening. Additionally, some food selection wasn’t available to order because they didn’t have it in the kitchen. Highly recommend coming here for a celebration/birthday.
A brand new lounge-ish restaurant in the middle of nowhere: a trait I absolutely love! Friendly, engaged staff gave a warm welcome and I liked the place right off. People seemed to enjoy the food very much (we only had drinks). We felt welcome and the atmosphere was... hmm, maybe evolving describes it best: confused, but it will become what they steer it into becoming. And it's an opportunity to join them in that project. Distillate selection is limited (this part needs work: you could go WAY more up scale in this neighborhood, particularly with Bourbon and Scotch). The bar space is very limited so they do move you along a bit once you've had your drinks; and I get that. It's more of a restaurant. Should do well with all the outdoor space come spring. I wish them every success and I think it's a GREAT location and a great idea. It feels like a ski country bar, mixed with a Bronx wedding venue and a down-south under the Spanish Moss bayou place and a beer garden, much more than a regular boring manufactured Westchester haunt. I LOVE the confused decor and indistinct style. It's gonna evolve (I hope organically and be a precious and different local hangout.

I went there to try the food as I love soul food now mix it with a splash of Puerto Rican is a plus . I only had a appetizer it was ok not my style as the pork had too much mayochup some might like not me... anyway I hated the look of the place , this place feels more for women like a woman's only lounge. The place was Flat uninviting, would I recommend this place hmmm maybe if your going out with the girls . Guys keep away lol.

1st time ordering food today, although the food was really good, the pricing is ridiculous for the portion size that was given. $26 dollars for a little bit of pork, one serving spoon scoop of rice and grandules and over cooked tostones that were rubbered to the taste of being well over fried. I wouldn’t recommend this place and will be my 1st & last time eating there.

K&P Lounge is off to a rough start. I know it’s day 1, so I can’t be too hard on them, but this was truly not a great first impression. We ordered the shrimp po’ boy (with fries), macaroni and cheese, and the chocolate cake. - The shrimp in the sandwich was good — fat and flavorful — but the bread was stale. - The fries were probably the strongest part of the entire meal. They were fine. - The macaroni and cheese was only macaroni and cheese in the most generous sense of the name — there was pasta and there was cheese, but it seemed like there was no thought put into whether people would want to eat it. The noodles were overcooked and the cheese was congealed as if it had sat in the fridge for a few days and then been reheated in the microwave. - The chocolate cake was overly sweet, with barely any chocolate flavor. It felt like it was chocolate cake for people who hate chocolate. We sent the macaroni and chocolate cake back because we disliked them so much. I was personally hungry enough that I didn’t mind the po’ boy, but I would never order it again. Service was good in spite of all of this.

After 40 years, this is got to be the worst food experience I have ever had. This restaurant is filthy, And the only thing I can think to compare the food to is middle school cafeteria food. Maybe prison food? Haven't been to prison so I wouldn't know. On top of all of that, they completely screwed up our order, causing us to wait for them to fix it for 20 minutes at which point all the rest of the food was cold and soggy and they refused to do anything about it. Terrible service, terrible food, terrible people.
Very cozy and welcoming atmosphere...staff is very accommodating. I ordered take out...Shrimp dinner with Mac&Cheese and Candied Yams (along with a couple of slices of cake, sweet potato pie and a banana pudding) The food was fine... the dessert was not to my liking-it lacked the homemade taste I was hoping for) I was taken aback when I was shown the bill with two different totals??? One for making your payment with cash and the other if you're paying with a card (Debit/Credit) (apparently there is a surcharge). Which the server did point out. So, as I am swiping my card the server gives herself an 18% tip and I walk out with a 70.00 Shrimp dinner!!! I have never been so displeased with an establishment. With this being said I still wish you guys the best of luck.
Ordered two fried chicken dinners for take out. I must say that there is room for improvement with the fried chicken. The chicken was dry and tasted like it was re friend from the day before. It was very hard and we were unable to enjoy it. The sides were good tho
Nice folks but weirdest hours on the planet. You can’t make any plans to go here due to their tendency to be oddly closed on a Friday or Saturday night. Regular hours and a sandwich board with specials would help this place thrive. Does not feel like they want the surrounding community to take interest at all. UPDATE: The point remains it is difficult to know when they are open. The open/closed sign is eternally placed on the inside of the front door partially obscured by the door itself and it's small. How are we supposed to read that?
