Work Xmas meal. Not disappointed. Good choice from the menu that was quickly served and well presented and tasted good. Black pudding starter and a steak main. Reasonable pricing and portion sizes. Nice cosy atmosphere with attentive and friendly staff. Thank you for looking after us.

Great experience. Our group had a wide variety of dishes across three courses and everything was really nicely cooked. Helpful, cheery staff who were very efficient and happy to accommodate our request to substitute an item. Lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices especially as it's located in the city centre. 😀

Was on a road trip passing by, and needed a quick bite to eat. Seen they offered 2 pizzas for £16. And I must say this is up there with one of the best pizzas I've had. Wood fired oven, great choice of toppings. Guy serving was super friendly. Great value and very impressed

Very nice Pizza, superb base and good quality toppings - this was the vegan cheese. Vegan burger was enjoyable although not exceptional. We would go back for sure.

Love this place! Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service..especially the cheeky waving waitress..6 stars for her. Worth the 300mile journey to visit for the 5th time. Sir Anthony.

Brilliant menu for dietary allergies - the waiting staff took time to explain the menu & advise me on what I could have. I had pizza which probably had the best gluten free base I have ever tasted. I'll definitely be using this as first choice when I'm in Perth. Only gripe was the room is very dark - we had to use our phones as torches to read the menu! Otherwise it would have been 5 stars across the board!

I've always loved it here, being my favourite restaurant in Perth (and its previous incarnation as Pig'Halle). Food is excellent, there is a large selection to choose from, however I feel the best can be found from the set menu and specials board. There is a good selection of drinks and friendly, attentative staff.

When we arrived the restaurant was very busy but the staff cleaned us a table in no time at all and we had a LOVELY meal.

A warm welcome in to a busy restaurant is always lovely. We were seated in a nice table in the window. The choice of wool is good and you can see in to the kitchen a little. There is also a selection of specials each night. My partner and I opted for the chateau streak. It was lovely but could of done with a second lot of fries. We also opted for the soufflés - I don’t think I’ve ever had this before and it was amazing. Good service, good atmosphere. I’ll most defiantly be back

Cardo is easily one of the best restaurants in Perth. I recently moved here and Cardo is always my first choice when going out with friends or when friends outside Perth come to visit. I love the fact they keep the menu well priced considering the quality of food... this is the main reason I'll return again and again. The fact I can go multiple times a month and choose something different because they always do a Plat du jour keeps it exciting. Also, the service is faultless, the waiting staff are fantastic! Will be back again soon!

Unassuming ,pleasant dining experience in a lovely area.Food was delicious .Wine bit overpriced but most places it is nowadays.Service . Definitely be back.

A busy and buzzy bistro. We loved it! Service was excellent and we chose to eat the day's blackboard specials, which were delicious. We decided to have a selection of macarons (from the adjacent macaron shop) as a dessert and we're not disappointed. They welcome dogs and are relaxed and chilled about their presence. I would seek this restaurant out, it's well worth a visit. 🙂

Absolutely loved this place, the staff couldn't do enough for you, they made you feel so welcome. Alternative dietary requirements were meet and there was plenty of choice. It was the best steak I have had in years and was perfectly cooked and really reasonably priced. Fantastic all round 👏

I booked for a large party of 26 people including small children for my birthday. The restaurant was incredibly accommodating, we had pre-ordered, everything was perfectly cooked, served promptly. Staff were efficient, friendly and attentive. Could not recommend them more, thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon. Thank you again!

Superb meal, loved my cordon blue, can't remember the last time I had it. Service superb. Nice ambiance. Even the Sicilian pizza was excellent.

Excellent eatery...staff very good...busy place too, tells you it's popular..stellenbosch red wine hit the spot....would revisit when in Perth.

Excellent authentic and delicious Italian food. Reasonably priced with good portions. I had the Spaghetti Bolognese and three Pizzas with compliments all around.

Only had one night in Perth and found Cardo. Food was great, staff very friendly. Only downside was it was quite noisy with people talking. Wouldn't put ne off coming back though if ever I'm in the area again. Highly recommend this place

A truly excellent French restaurant, with very good service and great food. The macarons are to die for. Just a little bit noisy when full. One of the best places to eat out in Perth.

Most of the family I was with have eaten here before but I hadn’t. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and service was good. I went for the 3 course set menu which had a good selection, the price and quality was very reasonable, especially in comparison with other restaurants in the area. I’m now looking for an excuse to go back… Well done team.

I've not spent a lot of time in Perth, and do not often eat out. A friend suggested Cardo, and I have to say the meal was absolutely delicious. I will definitely book again. I just went with the burger for main, but the pizzas they were bringing out had me questioning my decision until I took the first bite! Nothing bad to say about my experience.the staff were warm, friendly and attentive 😊

A favourite restaurant and takeaway in Perth. Have dined in Cardo many times, the quality of the food and menu especially stand out. The menu adjusts seasonally and there are always interesting specials on the blackboard. The fixed price menu is great value for lunch or an evening meal. There’s something for everyone available and the restaurant regularly uses local and seasonal ingredients in the dishes. Special mention for the dessert menu/options. I don’t have a sweet tooth myself but they have such delicious desserts. A highlight is the cafe gourmand which is a hot drink with mini puddings. Wine list is also very good, thoughtfully curated and good value. The service is faultless. Next door is the takeaway. Cannot find better pizzas in Perth, just perfect. Pizza options are different to the usual, very inventive and using high quality ingredients. They do a great deal on Tuesday and Wednesdays of 2 for £16- it can be mixed and matched with burgers and pasta dishes too. I look forward to trying the lunch offer this summer and eating it by the river- meant to do it in 2024 but between time and poor weather there wasn’t a chance. All in all, I highly recommend Cardo be it the restaurant or takeaway.

Had a large family meal last night for my Son’s 21st. The whole experience was excellent (as always). But they staff looked after us really well, from my young grandchildren to the various dietary requirements of the group. Worth every penny.

Stopped by for some take out coffee and the famous macaroons. The take wout bit smelt like heaven! The aroma of fresh pizza convinced me to come back another day. The macaroons were so delicious, never had anything like it. I got the passionfruit chocolate and the baileys. The passionfruit was fresh and tropical, the baileys were smooth and creamy. The coffee was also really good. Overall a great experience. The lady at the till was friendly and patient.

Love the vibe and the wine and food was great. I had the carbonara which was good but not excellent. We also had the pizza which was awesome. Lots of good veggie and pescatarian options as well. It was busy on Saturday night so make a reservation! We will be back 🙂

Overall it was a really nice meal, the 4 others I was with really enjoyed their food. The menu is great and supplemented by a range of nice specials. We had a good range from the menu including pizzas, salad and oysters. I’d advised when booking that we had a pram and they made sure to give us a good table with plenty of room. The only thing letting it down was that the mussels I had were practically inedible - they were dry and had a strong, bad taste to them and there was practically no sauce. The waiter asked about them at the end of the meal and when I explained, there was no offer to take them off our bill or to get me something else which was disappointing.

Having been here a few times with family, one of whom has allergies, I recommended it for a visit with some friends (one of us has allergies). The food served to her wasn't very appetising. In my opinion, it should have been easy to work around and I'm sure the chefs could have come up with a sauce to accompany her very dry offerings. It was embarrassing. The rest of the food was fine but we didn't order anything after our main meals. I'll struggle to recommend or return here. It was very busy so a nice atmosphere, but a daught from the door was annoying. Pity, as it was one of my 'go to places

The setting is nice, the staff are nice, the food was nice. Although it was expensive for the portion size, and I am not a lover of eating food off a product, that belongs on the roof of a house. Eating off slate, thank god had it’s time in the 90’s. So why we still find these places serving on slate, beats me. Would I go again? Probably not, as there is more to explore in Perth.

My husband and I decided to visit t last night because we had heard good reviews. We both ordered burgers me an ordinary burger and my husband their vegan burger. Mine was hot but my husbands was JUST luke warm so much so he only managed to eat half of it, before it was stone cold!! We did mention it to two waitresses who replied “oh I’m sorry to hear that!! No offer of a replacement or something off the bill. Needless to say we will not be recommending the restaurant or returning!
