We had a party of 6 with no reservation and were seated right away. The food was delicious, chips and salsa and bean dip were so good. The owner came over to check on us and he was very friendly.

Great service and delicious food! We were able to eat on the back patio because we were coming from the vet and had my Boston Terrier with us (so we asked for a quiet corner). Love their enchiladas, tostadas and many of their burritos!

No complaints here! Start with great (not good) Cadillac margaritas. I chose the Chile Relleno Burrito. Huge! They don't overcook the Chile either. Loaded w/ rice, beans, sour cream, guac and a fantastic sauce on top!

There are a variety of food options and they are all really, really good. The service here is exceptional. Other places in town are struggling to provide service on par with the prices they charge, yet Mi Pueblo on Petaluma Boulevard North goes above and beyond.

The food was so very delicious, and the portions are perfect to fill a hungry person. The staff was outstanding, and attentive. And they made the experience that much more fun. If you're in the area, you can miss out on the opportunity to enjoy some of the best food and service around.

The service was on point and friendly , the dining area outside had only a few, say 8 persons then after a bit it was almost up to capacity outside. I knew it was because of the food. I got excellent service as always. Our server even brought green sauce( I had gotten a small amount as it's my favorite) without having to ask. My mom asked what another sauce was and then she brought a larger amount as well. Not prompted, but very happy she did. She was attentive and patient with my mom misunderstanding her. I am always up for Mi Pueblo on the Boulevard! Parking is terrible, not gonna lie.

The food is always good I don’t usually have any complaints out of hundreds of times of going here to eat the food has always been pretty good. Three burritos for $51. Getting a little bit expensive but I am understanding the cost of food and increased cost of labor. Thank you David for having such a nice restaurant.

A long-time Mexican restaurant staple in Petaluma. Our large party of 16 for lunch received excellent attention and service with just the right amount of check-ins to keep water glasses and chips full. All expressed satisfaction with their meal choices.

This place has great service and consistent food. I really appreciate consistent quality and this place delivers. I just had a burrito, but they have all the traditional date and they have a full cocktail menu. Their drinks are top shelf and meant to impress.

I got the Vegetariano Mas burrito to-go and it was delicious. It was super easy to do take stuff off to make it vegan and it was massive (take off the burrito sauce, cheese, and sour cream). We also got the margarita and it was great. 10/10 recommend.

For Father’s Day, we ordered delivery from Mi Pueblo. I ordered their Chili Verde dinner, which was superb! It came with rice, refried beans, cheese, shredded lettuce, salsa, and 4 small flour tortillas. And they were generous on the meat! Best Mexican food I’ve had in Petaluma.

Excellent!! Our waitress was awesome she was over the top in serving us. The food was great. My husband had the macho burrito and said, "it was the best he's had." We also loved the queso and bean dip they were outstanding. We went with our friends and had a wonderful time. We will definitely go back to eat. We like the Petaluma Blvd location it's quieter than downtown.

Really great service. We sat in the quieter enclosed porch area to talk away from the main dining area, but we still got lots of attention from at least 4 staff checking on us. Fresh chips and salsas were on the table immediately. Food was yummy too. Can recommend the tamale combo and macho burrito with lengua (tongue). Flan was fresh and delicious too. Servings are very large, so be prepared to eat or take some home.

Really really GOOD!! The sangria was amazing, the food seriously put us in a food coma because we kept wanting “one more bite” it was that good! We sat at the bar and saw the most beautiful dishes come out from the kitchen….we come up here a few times a year and it’s our new regular stop! There's a little bit of a wait if you arrive during the prime dinner hours. Definitely worth the wait! Great atmosphere, very friendly staff that is attentive to whatever you need. The food portions are large and the prices are very fair. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine that's in the area.

Take out review. Mi Pueblo has become my go-to for burritos lately. Every experience I've had there over the past few months has been decidedly positive. Staff is friendly and accommodating, the kitchen knocks out orders with speed, and the food is high quality! Al Pastor or Chile Verde are my current faces. Plus the salsa bar is amazing!

We stopped in late on our way back from the beach and we were glad to see they have created some outdoor seating in their parking lot for covidtimes. The menu is extensive and the food was delicious with very large portions. My daughter's kid menu burrito was big enough for an adult. My husband's torta al pastor took up the entire plate and he thought he'd probably only manage to eat half, but ended up eating almost all. I had a sope plate and it was very good. The hamaica and horchata were very refreshing and just the right amount of sweet (so many places over-sweeten their agua frescas, but theirs are perfect). Their margaritas are excellent too. Service was fast and very friendly.

Best refried beans I’ve ever had. Food was great, salsa bar was great, atmosphere was great. Did not like that they changed me $2 for lemons for my water, without telling about the charge.

Stopped by for dinner with my aunt when I was in town recently. Much bigger and busier on the inside than it looks on the outside. Very attentive and enthusiastic service which was appreciated. The food is a little over priced but everything was delicious! I got two different tacos, one chicken and one steak. My aunt got the enchilada with the fixings. The chips and salsa were great too and a little spicy in case you can't handle spicy. I even got to practice my spanish which was fun. Highly recommend if you're looking for Mexican food for lunch or dinner in Petaluma!

My wife and I checked out Mi Pueblo on one of her business trips. The chips, salsa, and bean dip were very taste. Not having been here before, we decided to play it conservatively and order their burritos. They were very large and pretty good. They use a rice blend that has a slightly different flavor than I usually find at most Mexican restaurants, but overall it was a good meal.

We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The food came out quicker than expected after our order. The beef enchilada, tamale and chili relleno combination plate was more than enough to be shared between my wife and I. The enchilada and chili relleno were excellent. Thank you for a delicious dining experience.

It's is the go to Mexican joint. My favorite is the place on Western but when parking is terrible off to the boulevard restaurant. Food is just as good Parking is better here. The vibe is better at the Western location and everyone is in the same room.Love the salsa bar!!! Service is always fast and friendly! Haven't ever had a bad meal.

Great food and a great environment. The bartender at this location always gives top quality customer service and pours delicious drinks. Best margaritas in town. Plus the salsa bar has everything and more! The prices can be a little expensive but manageable. Definitely a regular spot!

The food and service are very good. The place is very busy and noisy for a Wednesday. but that is great if you want a lively place. Nice full bar and lots of TVs. I think this place is the same as the one in Novato, which is very good also. Parking is tough when they are busy. Luckily they have a pretty big parking lot, but was full the night I was there.

It would be 5 stars if I liked their burritos more. Everything else I've had is delicious. One of my favorite sauces is the stuff that looks like gritty transmission fluid. Not an appetizing description, but it is excellent.

My carne asada buritto bowl was served hot and quickly. My drink never ran empty! The service we received was outstanding and we were there in the middle of the lunch rush. Best dining experience I have had in a long time.

Mi Pueblo is my 'go-to' spot when I'm passing through Petaluma. Big menu with many traditional Mexican dishes - including seafood. Both food and service are good and the beer is cold. Their margaritas come in several varieties and are delicious. The atmosphere is family-friendly and busy at peak hours. The restaurant and restrooms are spotless. Orders typically come out fast, hot, and correct. Parking can be a challenge. I suggest going for lunch or dinner at off-peak hours to be sure you can park in the lot. There is no on street or side-street parking. It comes with a thumbs up from me.

The salsa bar is my favorite things at this place. The carne asada plate and molcajete are spot on. We were 10 people and they were fast to accommodate. The place and parking space could get packed so keep it in mind. Great food for reasonable price and great family owned and operated restaurant.

My first visit was a mixed experience. The food was delicious and a good bargain and quite fresh however communication was difficult given my Spanish is not great. Given there is a large Hispanic population in the area surrounding the restaurant it's understandable yet it was upsetting that it was difficult to put in my order. With that said, again, the food was great, inexpensive, fresh. The place was clean.

The food was great other then the horrible margaritas, service also great but the area we sat in was not to good. We'll go back and hopefully seat in a better section and drink something different

I love Mi Pueblo! I’ve been eating at the original location for more than 20 years. Great food, Dave is a legend, love the cocktails. But the prices have just become disjointed from reality in the last few years. A family of four can’t get out of there for less than $100, a lot of the menu items have increased in price more than 50% in the last few years. Kids drinks $5. A single a la carte taco for $5.50. It’s still a great place to eat, but just not the everyday good value it used to be… Sadly there are other spots in P-Town we’ll opt for in the future when we’re looking for something low key and good value for the family.

I’ve placed two orders here, and both times my order was wrong. The ordering system clearly needs better modifier options. As a customer, I have no way of knowing how the ticket prints in the kitchen—but apparently, I’m expected to somehow anticipate that. Instead of a simple apology or effort to make it right, I was met with excuses and explanations about how their system works. To make matters worse, I was supposed to magically know that chips and salsa are no longer included—despite it still being included—and that my adjustments would not apply. After 30 years in the restaurant industry, I find it incredibly frustrating that basic customer service and accountability seem to be disappearing. There was no recognition that their system might be unclear or that customer feedback could be a valuable tool for improvement. Instead, the blame was shifted back on me. It was disappointing—and honestly, infuriating. I genuinely enjoy their food when dining in, but my takeout experience has been so frustrating that I won’t be ordering takeout again.

I ordered the chile relleno. The first time, the pepper wasn't done enough. The second time, it was done perfectly. The owner and staff are so nice and accommodating. The restaurant is cozy and warm. They make you feel welcome.

Now the burritos are worth it but the Caldo de Cameron is the worst deal nothing like the pick. And lacked flavor. . And prices have gone up. Do not match website. $18 wasted

The food quality was not good at all. The service was ok, but it took them a long time to take our order. All the meats were overcooked and dried. Prices were reasonable. The music was too loud and not pleasant. Overall didn’t have a good experience and can not recommend this place to anybody.

Skip it if you like flavor I got grilled chicken tacos and my husband got the birria tacos. Both were pretty flavorless and very expensive. We also got the chili con queso which was $15 and came out right before our food. The chorizo was the most flavorful item on the table (saying a lot) and we didn’t eat much of it because it came out right before our food. Also the plates that came were dirty so we did not use them. Probably not coming back and would not recommend unfortunately.

Overpriced and they tried to charge us for 3 entrées even though there was only 2 of us. My spouse didn’t look at bill and paid for it. When we got receipt we saw the extra charge. Waitress insisted that was our bill. Finally got it taken off bill. Won’t be back. Wonder if that is a intentional thing. From now on we will check bill closely.when dining out!!!

This was our first time out with another couple at this place. Food was good but ants were crawling on the wall next to the table, and the Sprite (soda) tasted like bad tasting soda water with only a hint of Sprite syrup. Also, even though this is a Mexican restaurant, the wait staff should be able to speak functional English - especially when taking orders. Probably won't be coming back here again.

Had a party of 15 and I had 11 complaints to me about the food. I don’t know if they had a new chef. The food there is hit or miss. I have had this happen to me before , so I thought it was time to leave a review. I spent over 400 dollars for my guess to complain to me. Sorry will not be going back.

Less tasty & fresh than Del Taco for 2-3x the price. Monosyllabic waitress who would just place our menu/food bill on the table without saying anything and walk away. We were the only ones saying please & thank you. Almost $100 for a carne asada (tasted like nothing), chimichanga, horchata & beer. Cute restaurant otherwise. I would suggest not going.

How unfortunate. I've been coming to this restaurant since it opened. I've watched it's growth throughout the years and loved every minute of it. Tonight (last night 10/4/22) I came for my birthday for a good margarita and amazing food. We were seated with an annoyed waitress. Alright brushed it off. Carded. Not a problem! My mom excitedly exclaimed, "it's her 30th birthday!" The waitresses responded "oh". We shrugged it off. My cousin came in while we were ordering drinks, he thought we were ordering food. Waitresses respond, "we're only doing drinks right now" in a nasty tone. Ignored once again. Ordering food, waitress still rude and annoyed of our presence. I had a hard time ordering my daughters meal of beans and rice with cheese on top of the beans. (I know not complicated, but today was a hard day and speaking wasn't my strong suit for the day). Waitress again annoyed said, "so a bean cheese and rice burrito" in a nasty tone, so I met her with that same tone quickly and stated, "NO, beans and rice, cheese on the beans". NO we aren't cheap, I knew she wouldn't eat much there, which she didn't. AFTER my tone changed, her tone quickly changed. Which is great, but it shouldn't happened in the first place. Proceeding, I got glares from other waitresses and another waitress delivered our food accompanied by the original waitress where my attitude was neutral once again. We ate, food was amazing per the usual hence why we were back again, on a special day per the usual. Watched the owner, David, come out, stared and make some remarks, laugh off whatever they talked about which was disheartening considering the relationship our family thought we developed with him through the years of our continued business. All from ONE waitress with a terrible attitude from the gate. Sad to say this waitresses attitude caused such a terrible experience at one of the long standing restaurants in Petaluma that I grew up with. Thanks for a 30th birthday to remember! Not to forget, zero birthday flan/flaming mud slide shot as the previous years. such a shame really. Shouldn't have even received a tip in my opinion, you're lucky my mom paid FOR MY BIRTHDAY DINNER.

Trash in the parking lot, silverware and cups had leftover food on them, food was terrible, and gave me a stomach ache. My friend got a stomach ache the next day from eating the food. Waitress forgot about us and made us wait awhile for the check. Would not recommend. Terrible place. Spent $75 for a horrible experience.

Prices just went up again and they were always above market. I was very disappointed in my take out tostada. It appeared to have lots of ground beef, and I asked for grilled chicken. I do not eat beef! There were extremely small pieces of chicken as well, on a flat, soggy tortilla. Poor quality shredded lettuce, very little tomato, no green onions, no guacamole (I specifically asked for). salsa -like dressing was not very good. Sides of rice & beans very bland (other review agrees). Cost $20!!! To by a bottled drink cost $4.85!!! I bought them for $1.00 in the grocery store and paid $3 at another restaurant! I feel the owner is exploiting his customers Big Time! I will NOT go back.

Service was slow and they got our daughters order wrong. The margaritas were watered down and our food had no flavor. We got the bill and the food was extremely over priced. Would not reccomend this place. Will not be coming back. I could get a more flavorful meal at a Tqco Bell and I could make a better margarita in my sleep.
