Hidden gem - an oft used phrase Hello to all who work there, especially Denise! In the small but charming town of Phoenicia NY, this diner managed to pull off an unusual combination: a wide menu with everything being cooked fresh. Food ranged from great takes on classics to adventurous mixes of things like an avocado toast fusion with eggs and salad. This should be a destination target for foodies in the Catskills, so much more than just a convenient stop when hungry. The on site bakery rules!! Try the banana cake!

We got take out twice. First night we called in to order pizzas which were really for pick up in 20 minutes. Pizzas were good and fresh. Second night we stopped and went with Mexican this time. Food was ready in like 15 minutes. It was good and portions were decent. The whole family was happy.

This place is awesome!! The first day we got into town we grabbed a pie and sat outside. We loved the quiet quaintness of the area and the pizza was delicious! My husband especially loved the sauce. Last night in town we went for bigger meals. My son had the baked ziti, which he thought was "really really good." My hubs and I each got a burrito, the chicken and the black bean. Food came packed with awesome Mexican rice and delicious guacamole. Everything was so flavorful. Would definitely recommend if you are coming to Phoenicia.

Literally my most favorite place since I was 15. And I'm 54 and still crave those bakery dishes, and the Pizza. Staff is beautiful, you can eat inside or outside stream side or at either of the outside patios. Full Bar with elbow room. Great menu choices. You shun your happiness if you drive by without stopping!!

Traveling in New York for the week and we met some friends at Brio’s when we first got to town. It was so good we went back the second night. The menu has something for everyone with reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was open and casual. Desserts are made in house and to die for. Highly recommended.

My photo doesn't do justice of the amazing pizza, but the toppings were fresh, and the crust was phenomenal taste and texture-wise!

Brio's has more than pizza! I absolutely loved their pork rahm schnitzel served with potato pancakes, red cabbage, applesauce and sour cream. It felt like a trip to Austria. I also enjoyed their wood planked salmon. They have a wood fire for making pizzas but we did not get a chance to try. So happy with the wide variety of their menu. Really good value for excellent food. And servers were prompt and very friendly.

We visited this place a few times during our trip upstate. It was a bit out of the way, but the pizza from their brick oven is superb and absolutely worth the detour. The sesame seed crust is outstanding and adds a unique touch to every bite. The service was excellent overall, making each visit a great experience.

Dropped in for a quick dinner while we’re in town for the weekend and we loved it! Plenty of seating, quick and courteous service, delicious food, and fair pricing. We tried two of their specials and a large tomato garlic basil pizza (added red sauce). Definitely recommend going if in the area!

Sarah (our waitress) was great, Mikey (pizza guy) makes a solid pie. Food is outstanding considering the area is more in the boonies. Recommend to all and to all a good night (we had a few blackberry ciders)

Brio’s is a classic, can’t go wrong! Pizza is amazing — the sesame seed crust is just perfection. 10/10 on the pizza front. They have a lot of solid choices on the menu. The ambiance might not be all that, but the food is just good! High quality ingredients & they make their own bread and desserts. If you’re in Phoenicia you’ve got to try it. I love their hot Italian grinder, the wings are good, I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever had something I didn’t like! The desserts are a must try as well!

Just walking up to this place we were hit with the lovely smell of their wood oven. This was a good sign. It's an easy order counter but the menu makes decisions difficult because everything looks good. I got the French toast with eggs and bacon. My lord, this was an amazing way to prepare for a cold hike in the mountains. However, my partner got the ricotta lemon pancakes and that stole the show. I'm not big on ricotta and was wanting to trade plates. Totally worth stopping in.

Place was so good! Great menu and company! I got a French onion soup and the green goddess grilled cheese! My boyfriend got the turkey club sandwich. The fries were delicious and so were the sweet potato fries. They were both delicious, defiantly could tell it was made with fresh ingredients! Cant wait to go back next time I'm up there.

My review is going to be a little one-sided here as all we've ever gotten from Brio's is pizza. Usually the routine is stopping order pizza have a beer too and then take it home. Please know our home is about an hour away but will still make the pilgrimage to go get the pizza it's a beautiful ride so that's a plus also. The Margarita Pizza is one of the greatest pies ever. The New Yorker is no slouch either.

We were in the area for my daughter’s wedding and I took my relatives to Brio’s for breakfast in the morning on a rainy Saturday. It is a pizza place but they serve breakfast/brunch. We ordered up front and sat in the dining room where we had plenty of room. LOVED the food! Well done and our server was so attentive to our needs. If ever up in Pine Hill area of NY, check them out!

5 of us old bikers stopped in today for lunch. The server was super nice and accommodating. She also took our order at the counter. Stopped by to offer free fill-ups on the drinks. Again very friendly. Wish I could remember her name. The focaccia bread was so awesome that one our guys wanted buy a loaf but the server couldn’t convince the owner/baker to sell one. She tried admirably though. Wood fired pizzas were delicious as were the sandwiches served on the wood-fire focaccia. We’ll be back.

Stumbled upon this gem while exploring the Catskills and will be dreaming about their pizzas back home in SWFL! The sesame crust, pesto drizzle, and wood fire char were all perfect. Their slices lured us in and we were happy to find they had plenty of room for dining. Service was quick and accommodating. Don’t pass up their pies either! Key Lime and apple were both absolutely delicious.

They forgot my bacon....but it's not a big deal and the burger was so good I didn't care. Really good high quality local beef. Pizzas great too like downstate quality good

We stay in the area several times a year and go to Brio's every time! It's our fave! Family friendly (even though it's attached to a bar), casual (you order at the counter and they bring to you) we usually head to the larger back space behind the bar and there's never a rush; even though it can be crowded and hectic at the counter, once seated the servers are super friendly and attentive. By this point we've ordered every type of food on the menu and it's always great. Definitely recommend!

Its been a long time coming to leave a review for this place but go figure two years later after a night session snowboarding at my local, anyways, long overdue, here goes. Love this place! My buddy and I discovered this place while chasing the Catskill high peaks and always make time to stop in for eats whenever we are close by. Staff is very friendly and their food and desserts are always filling and delicious!

Looking to enjoy one of the early spring warm nights, we took a ride west and decided to try Brio’s. We were glad we did because the food was very good, and the prices were very reasonable. We liked the process of ordering at the counter then taking a seat. We sat outside and once seated, the wait staff was quick and available.

Wow. Just the best pizza I have EVER had. The thin crust brick oven pizza was the BEST treat after a 10 mile hike to Slide and Cornell Mountain. We ordered the pepperoni and sausage with jalapeño 2 pies and almost demolished both! We also ordered their Tropical Sunset drinks and chips & guacamole. How does an Italian Pizza spot make the BEST spicy guacamole I ever had too 🤣 Not sure if this meal was delicious because we burned 3,000+ calories on a day hike or because Brio’s was just THAT good. I will always stop here after a Catskills hike. My boyfriend and I are from NYC and NJ and we decided Brio’s has the best pizza 🍕

The staff is friendly but a little slow to react to waiting customers. The inside is spacious and clean the ambiance is sports bar. The place is split in half bar and half restaurant. There is ample off street parking in back. The food was all delicious, well worth the price.

Classic counter service and sit down service via Upstate New York Style. Responsive and friendly staff. Exception wood oven pizza - prepared Neapolitan or classic New York pizza style. Fresh salads, huge sandwiches and healthy wraps. One of the restaurants that helps define the food scene in Phoenicia.

M

We were two families of 4 and everyone left happy and full with two large pies, two orders of tater tots and fried calamari. Tater tots were excellent, fried calamari was less crispy than I'm used to but still good. Had the regular cheese and New York Style pizza which I expected more toppings on but it was still tasty. Only thing was that they originally said the pizza would take 40 minutes which I thought was pretty ridiculous but it ended up only taking about 20. Waitress tried her best to help everyone but she was very busy going back and forth from the register to the tables (you have to order up front first). Overall it was a good meal, we'll come again next time we're in the area.

We legit drive 2 hrs from PA for the marguerite pizza! Def ask for extra basil and cheese! Best $30 pizza and worth the drive. Only get dessert if you have the room for huge portions and delectable yummies! Nevermind, get the dessert and bring half home with the left pizza for secondsies!

This was my first time here, I had their specialty pizza and it was really good. They are very busy, but are still able to serve the tables, wash them between uses, and serve the take out population. Although I only tried the pizza this time, they have a lot more food options to try out as well.

Not sure whether Brio's needs another review. This place is iconic and has been Phoenicia's and, dare I say it, Catskill's fixture since time immemorial. They offer very wide selection of food for all tastes from soups, salads and sandwiches to pizza, large selection of beers and deserts. They also keep insane hours. I think they are open every day till at least 10 or 11 pm.

J

Super chill place to hang out and have a beer. Indoor and outdoor seating. Bartenders are attentive. The food menu has many options from Italian to Mexican to American. I have never had a meal I didn't enjoy. Sweet potato fries are the best. Pizza with sesame crust and cannolis for dessert. Awesome spot!

B

8 of us stopped in to grab some pizza while traveling because my son saw good reviews. The pizzas were excellent. Regular cheese was my favorite. Very thin crust, very tasty sauce and cheese. Our group also loved the tomato, basil, garlic and the Aunt Mary's, which is a thicker crust. We also loved the hot pretzel and the mustard served with it. The waitress was personable and service was quick but not rushed. Would absolutely go there again.

We stop here on our family vacation to grab lunch. I liked to stop in at non-chain restaurants when traveling. We were very impressed with how good the food and the service was here. We went back for dinner that evening. Everything that we had was delicious from the wood fired pizza, to the burgers and the salad. I would recommend this restaurant to travelers and to locals alike. You will not be disappointed in the food here. They also make their own desserts which we took to our Airbnb that night.

I have to say, I always enjoy this restaurant. Tonight my girlfriend and I were sitting there enjoying our meal and drinks (we ordered the hurricane to celebrate Fat Tuesday) the table next to us was so rude to the server, you could see she was upset. We overheard their argument and couldn’t believe how petty they were. We want to thank that great server for a great date night and want to thank the rest of the staff who were busting their butts. We will be back!

I was passing through Phoenicia with family decided to stop in to give this place a try. I’m glad we did. The food was phenomenal and the place has a charm that could only be had from an old building. Iced latte and the hot coffee were phenomenal a very rich bold body to it. Service was amazing with And caught a conversation with Keri and she is amazing, took care of our table and most importantly, she is a people person. I have visited places where you get served and the wait staff is just cold. Would recomment this place eyes closed. Come for the oven baked pizza hang a bit and sit where baseball legend Babe Ruth hanged out.

My wife and I really got lucky to find Brio’s. The food was incredible. I had the Nashville hot sandwich with onion rings/Mac salad, and she got the birria tacos. Service was great. One of the classic new your restaurant with fantastic food. I have eaten there 3- times and everything I had from breakfast to dinner was fantastic. Portions are so large that each meal can serve two (depending on your appetite). Servers are to the point, fast and friendly. Only flaw I can see is a parking on a busy day can get tricky although they have some parking on the side of the restaurant, but if that is full you will have to find spot on the street. Highly recommend it!

I stumbled upon this restaurant unexpectedly, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. I ordered the lamb burger and the clam linguine. The burger was juicy, well-seasoned, and served on a perfectly toasted bun, while the linguine came in a generous portion with clams that were fresh and flavorful. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes to choose from, which makes it even more appealing. We had a wonderful time here—truly a hidden gem in the village.

My wife and I came here for dinner while staying at the Urban Cowboy Lodge. The place is pretty simple. More pizzeria than cafe/restaurant but food was great, great beer and alcohol selection. Several vegan or vegetarian options. The personal pizza was much bigger than I expected. I'm so used to joke portions these days that it's a pleasant surprise to get a good amount of food on your table. Definitely coming back if I'm in the area again.

I’ve been to Brio’s a number of times over the past 20 plus years after skiing or kayaking the Esopus. There are two sides to Brio’s. One side has the pizza ovens and views of both deserts and pizzas to see before ordering. This side is great for families with children while the other side is a bar and has tables with a more relaxed feeling. The food is the same but the atmosphere is very different. We shared a pizza and a house made veggie burger. Both were good. The pizza is a thin crust pie. The Veggie burger was large on a Brioche roll and served with fries. We made a mistake sitting on the pizza side instead of the bar side. Brio’s is a good place for a quick meal or to take out a pizza. This area doesn’t have many other good places to eat and Brio’s has been here for over 50 years and hasn’t changed in decades. They have parking in the back if you don’t find parking on the street.

K

Pizza was fantastic! The crust was to-die for. You can do a personal, large, or buy by the slice. The desserts were amazing! Their breakfast looks to be a huge hit as well. Nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, as well as its own parking lot.

K
Kimberly King

This was my 1st time here. There was outdoor seating which was nice. There is a lot on the menu. It took some time to receive our food and my dad thought it was a bit pricey. However, the food was delicious! I had a honey mustard chicken wrap, my dad had a turkey bacon sandwich on pita, and my friend had a quesadilla. We all loved our food so the price was worth it. I would definitely recommend!

Wre always come to Roscoe twice a year. And ALWAYS Take a ride to Brio's. The food is always good. We've tried many different items, and never been disappointed! However I only gave it a 4 because this year, they were inundated with pigeons! Which kinda made it hard to eat outside. To no fault of theirs. The staff tried to get a handle on it but there was so much they could do. You no sooner chase them away..and they were back. With that bein g said..Food,and staff are great!!

I've been meaning to write this sooner. We've been to Brio's numerous times over the years when we come up for skiing at Bellayre. Always a nice experience - good food and drink in a comfortable environment. This time, I left my debit card at the restaurant. I stopped back in the next day and the bartender didn't have it. Left my name and phone number in case it showed up (thankfully, no charges were on it except the ones I had made for dinner there). Called them when I got home and spoke with Denise. She had my card and promised to send it to me. Took time on her day off to wrap it up so it wouldn't look like a debit card in the envelope and mail it back to me. It arrived a few days later and all is good. Just wanted to thank her and the staff at Brio's for getting my card back to me. Denise went out of her way to make sure I got my card back and I'm very grateful for her efforts and for the staff who turned it in. We will definitely be back again!

Went here for breakfast on a Monday morning in August. Food was excellent. Had a breakfast quesadilla and husband had an omelette. Service was just fine after the woman at the counter warmed up to us a little, and food came quickly. Wasn't too crowded. The place needs a serious clean up. Dingy inside, flies everywhere and cobwebs in all the window sills. Ceiling hasn't been painted in 30 years. But the food was really good and reasonably priced.

Our waitress was very helpful; she came to check on us several times. The pizza arrived fast at the table, and it was quite filling. We gawked at the dessert counter, alas we were too full to order some.

This place was nice, has friendly service and a huge menu! We only got a few items but everything tasted good. The pizza was a bit small and didn’t really taste like a NYC slice but ya know what, I still really enjoyed it! The curly fries where crisp and were not dry. I didn’t want to eat too much and spoil my dinner but I couldn’t help but keep eating them :-p I did not personally have the carrot cake but my friends raved about it. I had two sodas and my friend has a beef. The sodas were a great brand and were flavorful and my friend said the beer that the staff recommended was spot on and delicious. Like I said, I only had a few things but their menu was huge. Seemed like they had a huge menu full of Italian and Tex-Mex dishes with plenty of appetizers and menu items for kids if you are also just looking for a snack. They have a huge space inside that looks like it offers places to sit down (when that’s allowed again), a nice big bar, and a dozen tables outside to enjoy.

The food was delicious even if the service seemed a bit slow. In my opinion, it was a bit expensive, but it wasn’t that bad. The crust on the pizzas was really nice! Usually when I get wood fired pizza the crust is burnt, but this crust was the right balance. Good sauce to cheese ratio. My partner got the chicken broccoli alfredo pizza (?? I think that’s what it was called lol) and I got just a plain pepperoni. Both were very good and made great leftovers.

A
Alexandra Dékány

The food is good and the portion sizes are big and everything arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The pizza with mushrooms was great, the dough was thin (as we like it) and tasted very good. My fish was okay, the fries with gravy were delicious and my husband’s chicken saltimbocca was good too. However the staff was not so nice... overall it wasn’t bad but I’m not eager to go back either.

We came to Brios to celebrate my husband’s birthday and brought a cake my daughter had made. We were pleasantly greeted and a happy birthday was expressed. We were seated given water and many menus. There are a lot of options. We got our nachos quickly as an appetizer and asked for a few minutes before ordering. The one waitress started to get more and more tables and did not return to us for 20 minutes. They were clearly understaffed. She never apologized for the wait. We got the food fairly quickly, but she failed to warn my husband not to touch the cast iron pan and he burned his fingers pretty badly. My daughter did not get her garlic fries so we had to wait for them. No one cleared our plates for over an hour. We had to ask for plates for the cake from a non English speaking bus boy even though the waitress had said she’d bring them and he never took away the dirty dishes. The food was good, but not great. The service was terrible and the worst part was the check. There was a $10.00 service charge for having our own cake. When we questioned it she said her manager said $20 but she reduced it to $10! I advised her that not only is this information not on the menu or the website, but when she acknowledged the cake at our entrance we were not advised. She said that we should have known! I have worked in the restaurant industry for decades and have never encountered this. I asked to speak to the manager, who conveniently was not available. She ended up taking it off the bill, but never apologized for anything. This was the first and last time we will go to Brios because of the customer service.

Food wasn’t that great. I ordered the soft pretzel. It comes with three sauces. The one I was looking forward to was the beer cheese but when it came it was cold and watery. I think it must have been frozen previously. It didn’t really taste like much. The pretzel its self was pretty good. The atmosphere was also pretty off. The staff were a bit off putting. Not sure if I’d come again

Ordered margherita pizza and goat cheese pizza. Both were great. Taking off a star because the staff did not feel very welcoming, but the food made up for it.

I'm not here to sugar coat. It's the end of October. Flies everywhere. Undercooked sesame pizza dough. "Wild mushroom" pizza is not wild mushroom and if you ask the waitress she has no idea what the mushrooms are and makes no effort to ask the kitchen (I forage mushroom and based on what I saw they were just shiitake and baby Bella's; not wild) if you put "wild" on your menu don't be surprised when someone asks where they're sourced and what they are because obviously we all know wild mushrooms can kill you if not properly identified. Instead they just list it that way on the menu to sound 'upscale'. Yeah this place has been here forever. Yeah the have a wood fired oven. But they turn tables quickly and undercook the pizza and don't have any passion for produce or ingredients. 3 stars easily. Dont take your success for granted. I also use truffle oil (both black and white) frequently at home and am very familiar with its pungent flavor. They didn't use any like they claimed to on the menu. Mediocre at best with a bunch of Karen's working there who seemed miserable. When she failed to identify the mushrooms or what they are said "well at least it taste good, right?". So lameeee

I loved the idea of the pizza being cooked in a wood fired oven, but unfortunately the pizza fell very short of my expectations. The crust is thin and soft, so much so that it makes it hard to hold and eat the pizza. The flavor was average. The coffee was served in a *very* dirty cup ☹️ I was looking forward to going here, but unfortunately will not be returning.

I used to love this place but it’s really gone downhill in recent years. So disappointing because it used to be my favorite place to get food after a long day of hiking in the Catskills. The prices have about doubled over the years which would be fine and understandable considering the current economy if the quality of the food didn’t dramatically decline. I ordered the open face steak sandwich multiple times over the last two years and it was always delicious and beautiful and an ample portion. I got it yesterday and it was half the size that it used to be, a lower quality steak, completely unappetizing looking, and completely lacking in seasoning on the steak, and there was way too much garlic and not enough Parmesan on the fries. Even the fries seem to be different than they used to be. They used to be just plain but perfectly done crunchy curly fries with garlic Parmesan seasoning now they put some kind of red seasoning blend on the fries themselves in addition to the garlic Parmesan on top which as I mentioned was way too much garlic. I’m sorry I didn’t take a photo yesterday because I probably have photos from previous years to compare so you could see the difference but I forgot to get a picture. I’m sure I’ll go again and try the brio fish sandwich which used to be my favorite before the open steak and see if that’s any good anymore but I definitely won’t be buying the open steak sandwich again at $22. So sad. ☹️😢

Mixed experience over two visits. Thursday 8/14 takeout had a missing meal, but staff quickly resolved the issue without hassle and the food was good. Unfortunately, Friday 8/15 dine-in experience was disappointing. The outdoor seating area had a significant fly problem that made dining unpleasant. While our server was friendly and attentive, there were issues with order accuracy. Most concerning was the unprofessional behavior from support staff - when we requested three to-go boxes, one team member displayed a noticeably rude attitude, rolling his eyes and only bringing one box initially. The food quality remains decent, but the service inconsistencies and unprofessional behavior from certain staff members significantly detracted from the experience. Given the strong recommendations we received, we had higher expectations that unfortunately weren’t met.

I have never written a negative review in my entire life because I know what it’s like to run your own business and I know that we’re all just human but I am so shook after my experience at this diner that I had no choice. I simply want to warn others. My mother and I arrived there at about 10:30 in the morning for breakfast and I went in to let the waitress know that we’ll be sitting outside with my dog. She said she’ll be right there and she did come right away and she asked if my dog was friendly. He doesn’t like to be petted which I communicated to her and said that he’s fine and that I got him. He didn’t make one sound throughout our meal just laying down by me. He’s a very well trained and well behaved giant schnauzer. Still, however, the server (she had blonde hair and her name is Kerry apparently) showed us attitude the entire time we were there. We ordered our food which was fine (scrambled eggs were dry but my mom enjoyed her pancakes). The worst happened at the end when I asked for my check and for a box to go. The waitress didn’t even wait for me to finish my sentence and walked away, yelling that she doesn’t pack the food and that the check was on the table. The check with some change in it belonged to someone else so I went in to let her know that the check was, she murmured something and printed out another check which actually happened to be wrong as well because it didn’t list all the things that we had and she gave me wrong change. I pointed that out (the check was missing one item). She then literally threw the check at me, didn’t say thank you or sorry, nothing at all. I am not sure if it was because of my dog or because of my mother who is a foreigner but it deeply upset me. I still left her a tip, then called the diner to complain. The manger was nice and apologetic but didn’t even offer anything to compensate our disturbing experience. I have now read other reviews and it doesn’t come as a surprise that other people experienced racist behavior in that place. I will never go back there again. This totally ruined my day and my vacation. I’m from New York and we face a lot of crazy situations but this was nothing like I’d ever experienced before. I urge you not go there unless maybe you’re a local (a table next to us was clearly treated with friendliness and kindness). I’ve never been this disrespectful before and I’m sorry we ever ate there.

I have eaten here many times over the years and ordered take away just as much if not more. When the father was in charge it was great....now it's garbage. If you call you are always put on hold and on more than one occasion they have forgotten to pick the phone back up. Tonight though took the cake, after a ten minute hold I finally placed my order for a single pizza. I drove down after giving about 40mins and was quite unpleasantly welcomed, took a seat at the counter waited about ten minutes for someone to look at me. Told them what I was there for and while still waiting noticed that no pizzas were made and obviously my order was never put into the system. Last straw with Brio's, not worth the time.

I strongly advise against going to Brio’s Pizza in Phoenicia if you have any allergies. Unfortunately, they did not adhere to food safety protocols or handle my allergy concerns responsibly. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but I was deeply disappointed with their handling of my situation. I kindly asked if they could ensure my pizza would not be cross-contaminated with my allergens, as I have severe allergies. The staff member, while walking away to check with the chef, muttered ‘probably not’ in a rude tone. When she returned, she assured me it would be fine. After waiting, we received the pizza, and I asked again if it was safe. They confirmed it was. However, when I got home, I discovered sesame seeds scattered across the pizza. Thankfully, I noticed before eating it, but it’s upsetting that such a careless mistake was made. It’s disappointing to spend money at a place that clearly doesn’t prioritize the safety of customers with allergies. I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone with dietary restrictions

Haven’t had such a shitty service for a long time. Ordered two slices of pizza, first the person was using her bared hands with her super long fingernails to handle our pizzas, is this sanitary? Also; when we asked for WiFi, she was having such an attitude…. I asked very politely but received really gross attitude in return. Extremely unprofessional . We should sue this restaurant for racism. The food is good but you should train your employee up to par.

Incredibly racist, derogatory, and discriminatory behavior exhibited by the blonde female waitress and much of the staff. We spent $$$ on pizza and drinks as a big family, calling ahead to place our order. They didn’t have any issue taking our money, but they had an issue with our skin color. When we arrived, she was haughty, telling us to “pick up our own trash” and “leave the [salt and pepper shakers] there.” We were at a restaurant, and the only trash we could possibly have were the paper plates and pizza boxes she gave us. She tried to make us feel like we were hindrances rather than good, paying customers. We were patient and kind, but she completely lacked any semblance of respect. Additionally, she not only kept complaining about our group as “those brown people” to her coworkers, but had the indecency to loudly complain to other customers as well. It is ridiculous how someone can exhibit such clear bigotry and attitude to customers. The pizza was also salty and tasteless, just like the customer service. Truly don’t bother wasting your money and time at this establishment, especially as a person of color.

Do not go here if you are gluten free. The restaurant advertises that it has gluten free pizza and wraps/buns. However when asked about cross contamination the cook making the pizza would not accommodate a safe way to prepare my daughter’s gf pies. Simply would not. Then when trying to alternate to a gf wrap the chicken and gf wraps are prepared on the same grill as the other gluten wraps and buns. When the cook was asked to prepare their food in an alternate way he said no. My daughters left without eating any dinner because we didn’t trust the preparation of the gluten free food. The only empathetic person to both my daughter’s celiac disease was the lovely waitress. She was extremely patient, understanding and accommodating to try every effort for my daughters to be able to safely eat at Brios. However, due to the lack of trust in those preparing the food and the restaurants lack of safe gluten free protocol in place we left hungry, extremely disappointed and frustrated. There is no point in having gluten free food if people who are gluten free cannot safely eat it. I urge the owner and cooks making the food, to try to imagine what if would be like if they were in my daughters situation. Visiting a place we have never been, doing our research to find a place that has gluten free food, driving a distance to eat here just because there are gluten free options. To then not have those in control willing to accommodate two children to safely eat. Please take a page out of the waitress’s book. Show empathy and understanding. Stop. Care enough to think of an alternative way. There always is one.

Nahhhh The service was lacking. My friend never received his order, and our server showed no concern or apology about it. We waited patiently for over 35 minutes, only to realize his food was never coming. At minimum, the restaurant should have offered him a complimentary meal to take home after that kind of wait and mistake. We ended up sharing our food, but come on—that’s not acceptable service. And on top of it, she asked if we wanted coffee without even offering it on the house!!!. The coffee wasn’t even fresh! Plus, of course, the tip was automatically included since it was weekend service. We were just hungry and got to eat but nahh no way coming back here ….
