Hawaiian cuisine in the center of Cuneo... YES it can be done! And here in Piazza Boves is a small (intimate, if you prefer) modern, well-kept, and well-organized restaurant. Don't be alarmed if it looks crowded... Come in anyway, politely; they'll find a solution. The cuisine is quick, light, healthy, and affordable (hardly more than 15 euros). Everyone's waiting, and while you're choosing what to put in your bowl, a seat opens up. You basically eat the same dish, but there are so many variations that it's hard to repeat yourself. Definitely worth a try.

Exquisite novelty in Cuneo. You can create your own pokè by selecting from a series of ingredients divided into categories (proteins, side dishes, sauces, etc.). The dish is prepared in front of you and the result is truly excellent. Prices in line with what is offered. I recommend it.

Let me start by saying that I've personally only ever eaten poké at one place. This is the first time I've changed, so I'm definitely not a great connoisseur of this dish, but I'll try to write something sensible anyway. The "restaurant" is cute, small but with large windows, seating no more than twenty or so, and nice, modern decor. Unfortunately, Piazza Boves is becoming quite run-down, and that's definitely not a plus. The service is like the other place I tried: you pick up a menu, fill it out with your preferences, give it to the cashier who prepares your order, and once you're finished, you go to the counter to pick up your plate. Here, you can also order by phone. The food arrives quickly, but I have to say, I wasn't thrilled. The bowl they bring you is full, but it's not very big, which is why it's very difficult to stir the toppings, and you end up with all the rice at the bottom, dry and white. The ingredients, however, are very good and seemingly super fresh. Another thing I didn't like was that even in the "large" version, you could only choose one sauce (the cashier was brilliant because he added another sauce for me without charging me). In total, my girlfriend and I spent €35, including drinks, so I'd say it's average. As I said before, I'm not an expert, but I'd say it's worth considering as a place to eat poké here in Cuneo, given the limited number of these places in the city.

Original idea, but there's work to do... How it works: for lunch you can even not book, otherwise booking is available via WhatsApp which I read about in other reviews but not elsewhere. The seats inside, we were told after calling, are 25 and one 50 outside. Alas, the place is narrow and if you take into account that you need to equip yourself with the material to be able to set your own table independently, everything becomes a bit cumbersome (it's nice to do it yourself but if there is space). Also because the stuff is at the back and getting between the tables is a challenge. Once this is done, you fill out the menu according to the composition of your poke and take it to the cashier (and pay). Today several ingredients were missing, an element which in my opinion could have been made up for with little effort (for example if you put the avocado/tomato/onion in pieces on my plate why not quickly make a guacamole sauce? A condiment that was indeed missing). If the dish is ready immediately it can be brought to the table, otherwise, by putting the name on the menu they will bring it to you by calling you (a la Sturbacks), a bit counterproductive in my opinion if there were homonyms, perhaps better to assign numbers? Another thing I would change is the small bottle of soy sauce that can be used by all diners to take and put down once used: perhaps a little unhygienic? (as well as the cutlery placed in a jar all together, which is touched by everyone). The prices are normal, the ingredients are not bad, but honestly we were not particularly impressed. As a customer I would return for a takeaway perhaps, but not to eat on site. I would advise you to focus on that and home delivery.

Two different menus, both with eggs the color you see in the photo. I reported it, but no response... Overcooked eggs are bad for you; better a minute less than a minute more. Prices are still expensive.
