Siamo stati ieri sera in 4 abbiamo preso un menù pizza con 5 antipasti, pizza a scelta fra le classiche e bevanda inclusa, incluso anche l’amaro o il caffè, solo 18 euro! E la signora gentilissima e molto cordiale ci ha anche fatto un piccolo sconto sul totale! Il cibo era buonissimo, menzione d’onore ai friarielli e le pizze altrettanto ! Sicuramente un locale da consigliare per una cena !

Sono stato alla Lanterna Verde su consiglio di una amica e devo dire che è stata un’esperienza davvero memorabile. Il locale è accogliente, curato nei dettagli e riesce a trasmettere quell’atmosfera calda e familiare tipica della Puglia. La cucina è semplicemente eccellente: sapori autentici, ingredienti freschissimi e piatti che raccontano la tradizione barese con passione e rispetto. Le polpette della nonna erano perfette, bilanciate nei sapori e cotte al punto giusto. Una menzione d’onore va anche alla assassina una delle più buone che abbia mai assaggiato . Il personale è gentile, attento e disponibile a spiegare ogni piatto, rendendo l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante a chi vuole gustare la vera cucina barese in un ambiente elegante ma non pretenzioso. Tornerò sicuramente!

Proprio questa sera sono andato a mangiare,ed ho trovato personale educato e disponibile. Si percepisce l'attaccamento all'attività gestita da anni a conduzione familiare. Cibo ottimo, qualità e soprattutto quantità,porzioni molto abbondanti mai viste da nessuna parte.. complimenti,se dovessi tornare a bari nn esiterei a ritornarci...!🍷

Pizzeria non molto grande ma calda e accogliente, locale ben curato e a 2 passi dal centro. Personale cordiale e sorridente non ci hanno mandato via frettolosamente come molti locali che fanno doppi o tripli turni, anzi, ci hanno offerto un ottimo limoncello della casa. Pizza digeribile con prezzi modici e ingredienti di qualità. Piccola varietà di primi e antipasti e secondi. Consigliatissima!

Abbiamo scoperto questo ristorantino durante le nostre vacanze a Bari e ci siamo trovati davvero bene. Cibo buono e abbondante, prezzi accessibili e atmosfera rilassante. Consigliato!

Amazing food, the best one we ate in Bari. The owner even gave our child a toy during the dinner and a gift, also when we said what our child is going to eat, they prioritised it and arrived as soon as possible. Very welcoming and cozy atmosphere.

I haven’t given a review in a while but this place deserves the effort. The entry is a little off-putting with bright fluorescent lighting and plastic flowers but once you get back to the dining room the atmosphere is fine. Not fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. The food is the reason to come here. I’ve never re-ordered the same item because I needed more of it, but I did with their roasted peppers and baked potato-cake deliciousness. Seriously. Then the dish that is allegedly exclusive to Bari/Puglia… Pasta Assassina…tomatoes, garlic, peppers, cooked with the pasta until it’s crunchy and on the verge of burnt. Damn. Delicious. I would go back tomorrow for the same meal. And maybe the next day.

We had a great evening, eating delicious food, being served in the most welcoming way and just enjoying every second in the restaurant. Just one little thing - it was very hot inside, so I was a bit sweating while eating :) Spaghetti alle vongole - top! Spaghetti allo scoglio - top! And cherry on the cake - signora made specially for our friend spaghetti all’assassina - the dish that he wanted to try so much. Very traditional place that I recommend with all my heart.

I came here on my last evening in Bari cause it was close to my apartment and I think this is a hidden gem. I ordered carbonara, pizza 4 fromagi, and traditional "burnt spaghetti" but to go cause I wanted to have something savory in the airport. Everything was amazing, even the cold spaghetti was great so I can't imagine how good it would be if I ate it the evening I bought it. The owners were so sweet and caring I felt like home. Also this restaurant is popular among Italian families which is sweet cause you get the everyday Italian vibes while you eat. I really recommend you this place

Sunday night we came in late with a group of 8 people and we felt welcome from the start. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly, helpful and warm. And the prices were more than reasonable, we were pleasantly surprised by the bill. Go to this place when you are in Bari!

Cute little gem hidden away from the busy city centre of Bari. The food is authentic and delicious and the portions are very big. The friendly staff only spoke Italian but we still understood each other perfectly. The place is very affordable, with prices around 6-12 euro per pizza. It might take awhile for your food to be prepared but it’s worth waiting. The only downside is that there is no outdoor seating and it could get a bit warm inside.

The first thing that catches your eye as you enter is the beautiful brick pizza oven - it's a great sign of things to come! I can confidently say that their pizzas are truly unbeatable. They have a perfect texture - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of crunch. We tried a variety of pasta dishes too, and every single one was incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and absolutely delicious. We also opted for the 'Set Menu', which is a fantastic value that includes five delicious courses: hot and cold antipasti, your choice of classic pizza, a generous 33 cl drink, house-made dessert, limoncello or coffee, and service - all taken care of. In my opinion, this menu offers the perfect opportunity to experience authentic Italian cuisine without having to navigate the full menu. I highly recommend it if you want to try a little bit of everything! It was an absolute delight to stumble upon this gem of a restaurant. Huge thanks to the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff - I'll definitely be back soon! I have a suggestion: on every table, there's a QR code that you can scan with your phone to access the menu. From there, you can browse options and place your order with just one click. The system itself works well, but I think it would be even more convenient if the menu descriptions were available in multiple languages and accompanied by photos of each dish. Based on my experience, many visitors would find this to be a helpful feature.

La Lanterna Verde was the first place we dined during our vacation and it didn’t disappoint. This family owned and ran restaurant is very welcoming, friendly, and the food is fresh. We each had four courses, starting with wonderful fried polenta and the cheese plate, and none disappointed. The carbonara was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The pizza was phenomenal, and covered in the freshest vegetables you can find. To top it all off the desserts were magnificent . The three generations running this restaurant will not leave you disappointed!

Possibly the best pizza we've had! So juicy! An at a good price! They have pasta, too. We came back 2 more times after the first one. It seems to be a family-run business, so everyone was very kind and tentative. English was a bit tricky to speak but everything was fine in the end. I recommend! They also do pizza deliveries, we learnt. Important thing - no outdoor tables, full of locals inside :) Go eat there! Thank me later!

Ambiente un po’ buio ma caratteristico. La pasta all’assassina molto buona, abbondante la porzione. Il personale è molto gentile. Sono rimasta un po’ sorpresa che alla mia amica che ha ordinato l’insalata abbiano portato l’olio in bustina.. comunque esperienza buona e prezzi giusti.

Appena varchi la soglia della Lanterna Verde, ti avvolge un’atmosfera calda e familiare, di quelle che ti fanno sentire subito a casa. Si percepisce immediatamente che il locale è a conduzione familiare: una famiglia attenta e premurosa, sempre pronta ad accontentare il cliente in ogni modo possibile. Qui si assaporano i veri sapori della cucina delle nostre nonne. I piatti, pur nella loro semplicità, sanno regalare ricordi ed emozioni che restano impressi. Gli ingredienti sono freschi, di qualità e lavorati con cura, ma soprattutto con quella passione autentica che oggi, nell’era della gastronomia moderna e un po’ omologata, sempre più rara da trovare. Ogni portata è gustosa e sorprendente, capace di lasciare a bocca aperta e con la voglia di tornare. Se vuoi mangiare con gusto, vivere un’esperienza genuina e uscire pienamente soddisfatto, questo è il posto giusto.

Il cibo buono e con un rapporto corretto qualità /prezzo. (Qualche perplessità sulle dimensioni minuscole delle terrine con gli antipasti di taglia molto sotto i..... Limiti sindacali) . Signora in sala molto efficiente e sorridente. sistema di prenotazione a distanza che funziona. Punto dolente: Il cattivo funzionamento del climatizzatore a soffitto ha reso la nostra permanenza quasi insopportabile per il calore.

The pizza and the pasta were delicious but do NOT order the tiramisu if you except smooth, creamy and flavorful-it is hard, tasteless and stale! Dessert was a huge disappointment after such a lovely meal.

Un ora di attesa per 2 primi e una pizza, ristorante semivuoto (3 tavoli compreso il nostro) solo una persona in sala, attesa davvero snervante! I piatti comunque buoni ma ciò non giustifica l’attesa infinita….

I don't recommend this place. We were in a group of 10 and the service was not good. The dishes looked completely different than in the pictures and both carbonara and gnocchi lacked meat for some reason. We were waiting for over an hour for our order and additionally the waitress forgot to bring us drinks and claimed she didn't write them, even though she was writing them next to us. Overall, the food was not bad but we felt a bit cheated.

Wait was 70 minutes for a simple salad of arugola, egg, mozzarella and tuna, a mediocre pizza and orecchiette with meatballs that tasted like pasta with heated up passata and 2 tasteless meatballs. AC was hardly working: it was unpleasantly warm in the restaurant. We are not coming back.

Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. 1. Order delays: We placed our order at 21:15, and all the dishes arrived only by 22:30. Even the table next to us was wondering why their food was taking so long. The restaurant only had three occupied tables at the time, including ours, which clearly suggests a serious staffing issue in the kitchen. 2. Poor communication: One of our friends was informed that her pizza wasn’t available an hour after placing the order, instead of being told at the time of ordering. This is simply unacceptable. 3. Lack of professionalism: At no point did the staff apologize for the delay or the poor service. On the contrary, the woman who appeared to be the owner responded with sarcasm and an unprofessional attitude when approached. The only reason I’m giving one star is because the prices were reasonable. But that alone is not enough to justify such a poor level of service. A restaurant must respect its customers' time, treat them with courtesy, and communicate clearly—none of which happened here.
