Noi ci torneremo sicuramente!
I took a Saint Honore-style cake to take away in the evening and ate it the next day: an excellent dessert that was much appreciated by the guests received at my house.
Very high quality Italian bar-gelateria. A bit pricey though.
Great products. These people know théière job well! Nice family at Work!
Caffè della domenica mattina. Pasticceria ottima, caffè eccellente, gelato super e cortesia impeccabile. Prezzi giusti.
A good café/gelateria/pastry shop in Rivanazzano. We had coffee and pastries, which were very good. The atmosphere is pleasant, well-kept, and well-attended. The outside area is also beautiful, especially in the summer. The pastry shop window looked inviting. Excellent location, right in the center. Recommended.
Rivanazzano's historic gelateria offers excellent gelato, both at the table and on the go. The pastries are very good and original, with specials for different holidays. The coffee and brioches, of medium-high quality, are highly appreciated given the establishment's high attendance.
Ottimi. Inoltre è stato un tuffo…
Very kind waiter, very good cappuccino, but the focaccia needs a rethink. You have a bakery two meters from the bar, what's the point of serving it fresh and not two or three days old? You can definitely do better.
It was good in the past
I wasn't wrong, it was the Albertini ice cream shop. This is the second time we've waited over half an hour to get a coffee. The girls serving, when asked, pass the buck to each other, like "I have to clean the tables," "The other girl has to take the orders," etc. The fact is, today, after a 40-minute wait, we got up and left. It's really you, not anyone else.
This evening, after years, I returned to Albertini's with my family, remembering it as one of the best in the area for both its products and its decor. After about 20 minutes of waiting at the outside tables, and seeing that there was only one woman serving about ten tables waiting to order, I decided to go to the counter and very politely ask the woman with short hair and glasses if it were possible to get three drinks from the counter to bring to my table (specifying that I would be paying for service even though I had brought them myself from the counter). I was told that it would be disrespectful to the rest of the customers. So, even though I was willing to pay more for service, I would be disrespectful... would you be respectful if you made a customer wait an hour to order a drink? I therefore think that very little remains of the old Albertini's, with its very kind owners. I will never return.
21-06-25 5.40 pm I enter and ask a lady with short hair and glasses if it is possible to have granitas. She answers yes and asks us if we want to sit at the table, so far everything is ok, then a young waiter arrives and when asked "what flavors can we choose?" he responds by saying that "the granitas are finished". I rightly tell him that a few minutes before I had specifically asked if they were available because I and we wanted a granita but he responds again with "from inside the bar they told me to say that we don't have any". Excellent service and above all great communication between the staff. Honestly, I was embarrassed for that poor waiter. Anyway, we got up and went somewhere else.
Terrible experience: I went to an ice cream shop with a group of children with disabilities. We were greeted arrogantly; the waitress told us we could sit down and order a simple cup, but when another waitress came to take our order, they told us we couldn't stay unless we ordered a glass cup. Given that half the tables were empty (or even more), we deliberately sat at a table away from the table so as not to disturb the rest of the customers. They complained about us sitting down, demanding that we get up and get our own cups. When I asked for a simple tray to carry the cups to the children, I was met with an arrogant "anything else?" response, and ultimately they didn't give us the tray. When I go in to order the flavors, the waitress and the owner are at the entrance arguing about how we couldn't sit outside, and as soon as the fact that the children are disabled is pointed out, the waitress replies, "I don't care, they can't sit outside unless they order a glass cup." So much for social inclusion.
"House" non-alcoholic aperitif: a banal soft drink from a cardboard carton, with four crumbled chips and two olives. The ice cream was bad, tasteless; probably made with industrial powdered mixes. I'd happily pay €1.40 for the coffee if it were made properly: drain the water every 2-3 cups... clean the residue thoroughly... the basics... the basics of a good coffee!
Very nice place, great location. That's the only positive thing. As soon as you sit down, they ask you how you're paying (cash or card). Aperitivos are a new trend, even in Voghera: a glass filled with nothing but crushed ice; you'd need a private investigator to find the liquor. I ordered three different gelato flavors, but they were all the same and not particularly good. When I asked if I wanted a full aperitivo, I only got two chips. It's understandable because the place is nice but half-empty, while the places next door are ugly but packed.
The quality of the granita, like the ice cream, is clear that it is commercial given that it is located in the square as it is... But paying so much money and seeing the granitas and ice cream served at the tables with plastic glasses and paying for the service is shameful... We complained a bit about the fact that we spent 41.00 euros for 4 granitas and a cup of ice cream served at the table all in plastic to take away and he told me that unfortunately there was no time to wash the glass ones... I will definitely never return again, shame.
