Ristorantino ottimo nel centro storico di Alba. Piatti dal sapore ricercato e da ingredienti pregiati. Prezzi nella norma per la cittadina e personaente delle ottime prozioni soprattutto sui primi e sui secondi.

Ottima esperienza!!.. siamo stati una domenica durante la fiera del tartufo.. ottimo cibo, ambiente piccolo e accogliente e servizio impeccabile... il prossimo anno ci torneremo sicuramente...

Bellissimo locale arredato con gusto ed eleganza nel centro di Alba. Ambiente molto intimo e rilassante il top per gustare l' ottimo menù proposto molto particolare un vero tripudio di sapori. A coronane il tutto un servizio da 10 !!! Assolutamente da provare !

A fantastic place to dine! If there were more stars i wouldn’t hesitate to give them all the stars of the sky! Excellent service, excellent food, amazing people! I found the place by accident, walking on the beautiful streets of Alba.The owner is an old timer with a very good real Italian style that reminds me of the good Fellini movies, it’s the guy you want to be your friend, the head waiter is a very good looking guy with a great personality, good English and he loves his important job that if you are a person that appreciates the service that you can get when you want to have a good time.This restaurant comes out of another reality that we have forgotten.The people that they enjoy to do the job right, the people that make your time and your money worth! Giuseppe very well knows how to make you feel good and he will please you! Don’t miss it, go there, you are going to have a great time with great food and most important GREAT PEOPLE!

Excellent fusion cuisine, always perfect pairings and balances. I recommend the Fassona beef sashimi. I'd definitely try the fresh stuffed pasta, which is a bit thick for my taste. In any case, we returned twice that same weekend, which says a lot. The service was very courteous and not at all intrusive. The wine cellar was excellent, and the place was intimate. Highly recommended ❤️

I was looking for an unusual dinner place that wasn't as traditional as most restaurants in Alba. Found this restaurant. Quite honestly it was a very welcome diversion from the regular cuisine. Osteria is actually a bit hidden the door is quite nondescript and because of that a bit hard to find so looking for an OM sign is a need. The decor is quite modern and menu while not very large is very good at showcasing the local cuisine as well as adding some novel dishes that accent the local cuisine. This probably one of the best "Plim" I've had in Alba though.

Small and exclusive service. Very romantic. An total gastronomical experience. Every plate better than expected. The ambiance from the cutlery to the music, lighting and table settings was outstanding. You definitely have to book ( saw a lot of walk in being turn around. But I would definitely recommend it blind folded.

Exceptionally friendly staff, menus available in English. Stopped in for lunch and this place is well worth it. Nice amuse bouche trio with octopus croquette, rabbit-veal-pork croquette and anchovy. House-made focaccia was to die for. Had the red shrimp crudo and stracciatella, delicious! There were too many good sounding pasta entrees, went with the shrimp and porcini ravioli which were quite good. Fish soup with linguine was also interesting. Menu seems to have some Japanese influence and it’s pulled off quite well. Naturally we had to get the carmel panna cotta with hazelnuts.

Locale accogliente arredato con gusto e attenzione ai particolari. Servizio in sala svolto con grande professionalità e gentilezza. Cucina che unisce sapori della tradizione mediterranea ad altri più tipici della cucina orientale. Direi che si può parlare tranquillamente di una cucina fusion realizzata con equilibrio e buon senso.

We came to Osteria Moderna with high expectations, but after eating there we returned with mixed feelings. The appetizers and primi were on point, delicious pasta with a perfect bite. Service was good, but not fantastic. The main problem we’re the secondi: we were super disappointing. The raw fish was boring and the lamb was underseasoned and not well-prepared (little overcooked, no question about preparation, fried aubergine was dull, meat dry due to lack of sauce/cooking of the meat). Normally I would rate 4/5 but given the price of the food, you would expect higher overall quality.
