Volevo finalmente provare un ristorante stellato per festeggiare i miei 30 anni e ne è assolutamente valsa la pena. Abbiamo scelto la degustazione 6 piatti con fungo e cioccolato come ingredienti principali. Ogni piatto era meglio del precedente. Un'esperienza indimenticabile.
Piacevole sorpresa per una romantica serata. Non conoscevo il locale ma è stata una scoperta inaspettata. Tutto molto curato, dall'arredo ed il recupero architettonico, ai tavoli e l'illuminazione. Abbiamo scelto il menù contemporaneo, tre portate ed era tutto buonissimo. Anzi buonissimo è riduttivo. È stata proprio un'esperienza .... Già il benvenuto, con mille assaggi elaborati disposti sul tavolo in modo studiato e suggestivo. Tutto perfetto. Da tornare assolutamente. 🔝
Partiamo dalla location. Ambiente molto intimo e curato in ogni suo dettaglio. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, i piatti sono squisiti e sempre curati nei minimi particolari. Due menù, il 1975 buonissimo ogni suo singolo piatto, menzione d’onore per i plin in brodo e che brodo! Il mercato, con piatti che variano a seconda della stagione, ogni volta c’è sempre qualcosa di nuovo da provare. Ottima carta dei vini con proposte di ogni tipo. Servizio impeccabile, molto preparati e gentili. Sfruttando il menù colazione di lavoro ho potuto provare quasi tutti i piatti e non ne ho ancora trovato uno che non mi abbia entusiasmato. Ogni volta venire a provare la cucina dello Chef Christian è un piacere. Sicuramente il miglior ristorante nel pinerolese e dintorni.
Ristorante molto carino e intimo. Un menù tradizionale piemontese affiancato da un altro menù contemporaneo alla carta. Servizio attento e curato ma non esageratamente formale. Inoltre, per essere un ristorante stellato, ha prezzi decisamente onesti. Mi è piaciuto davvero tanto!

I miei genitori nonostante abbiano gusti molto classici hanno apprezzato anche i sapori più particolari ma per rimanere sui piatti della tradizione hanno ordinato il famoso vitello tonnato e i Plin dello chef Milone che bisogna assolutamente provare!!! A nice restaurant in the heart of the town. From the moment you enter, you can tell it's going to be a very enjoyable experience. The dishes are refined, and the staff offers clear explanations. The wine pairings, not necessarily local, are very interesting. High-quality service from courteous and friendly staff. The play of light and shadow, which enhances the dishes, is delightful.
A fantastic experience, beyond our expectations. We chose a vegetarian option with dishes that truly thrilled us, and the desserts to finish were truly exceptional. All the staff were extremely kind in explaining the dishes and attentively caring for us throughout the dinner. The atmosphere is meticulously maintained, relaxing, and quiet, with meticulously designed lighting. We highly recommend it.

Our experience for my birthday with the “Breakfast for work” tasting menu (with the addition of some off-menu items) was a brilliant demonstration of this philosophy. From the small initial amuse-bouche to the final dessert, the path is coherent, without excess, but with flashes of originality that surprise and stimulate the palate. Particularly noteworthy was the first course, where the tradition of fresh pasta was combined with a sauce with unexpected nuances, a perfect balance between comfort food and research. The environment is elegant but not excessively formal, with an authentic warmth that immediately puts you at ease. The staff is attentive, friendly and well-prepared in guiding the guest through the proposals of chef Christian Milone, whose touch is perceived in every detail, from the plating to the balance of flavors.

The descriptions of the dishes were engaging, allowing us to connect with the local area and the seasonality of the ingredients (of excellent quality). The cuisine is, without a doubt, the heart of the experience: true masterpieces, from the presentation to the balanced and innovative flavors. Each ingredient seems carefully chosen and prepared in an original way. A perfect balance between tradition and modernity, capable of surprising and captivating our palates. The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the reinterpretation of fried eggs: a true harmony of flavors, which confirmed the exceptional quality of the cuisine. The wine pairings, suggested by the Sommelier, were also a pleasant surprise, with a selection that perfectly complemented each course, further enriching the gastronomic experience and once again connecting it to the region, with high-quality local wineries. Special mention also went to the small pastries: a perfect finishing touch. If you're looking for a unique culinary experience that will surprise and pamper you, this is definitely the place.

The table settings and the choice of décor are welcoming and captivating. The dining room staff is practically perfect. The dishes we sampled are exquisite: some are traditional but reinterpreted with refinement, others are innovative and convey the chef's creativity. The creamed potatoes with lemon zest, the spherical veal with tuna sauce, the spoonful ravioli, and the warm bread with three accompanying butters envelop the palate and open the senses to the rest of the meal. The restaurant, located within a charming structure that blends rustic and modern elements, creates a welcoming and refined atmosphere. The interiors are well-crafted, with frescoed ceilings and elegant furnishings that perfectly complement the culinary offerings. The dinner began with a series of refined appetizers served in a precise order, designed to offer a crescendo of flavors. Among these, I particularly enjoyed the spinach and cheese sponges, which despite their small size, offered a complete taste experience, perfectly setting me up for the rest of the evening. Next, we chose the market tasting menu. The first course was Fassona tartare accompanied by a Béarnaise sauce made with steak fat. It was excellent quality, perfectly balancing the delicate ingredients with creative presentation. Every bite was an explosion of flavors. We then moved on to a dish of fusilli cacio e pepe enriched with red shrimp and candied lemon. However, I found the flavor combination a bit forced. Although the ingredients were high-quality and well-prepared, the overall result didn't entirely convince me, leaving me with the feeling that the focus was on wowing rather than creating a harmonious blend of flavors. Unfortunately, I didn't get a photo of the dessert, as it was so delicious that it disappeared in an instant! The dessert was a harmony of floral flavors, with delicate notes of violet and rose that paired perfectly with flambéed apple spheres. Completing the dish was a soft vanilla sponge and creamy gelato, making every bite a true sensory experience. A sweet finale that crowned the evening sublimely. The service was impeccable, with attentive yet discreet staff, always ready to explain the dishes and recommend the best pairings with wines from the cellar, which offers an excellent selection of local and international labels. In conclusion, Trattoria Zappatori is an ideal destination for those seeking a sophisticated and unique dining experience. Despite a small complaint about the main course, the entire meal was memorable and made my birthday a truly special event.

Pleasant surprise, for the traditional crowd there are simple dishes full of flavour excellently cooked. For the creatively twisted crowd a new take on known dishes with modern techniques. The vitello tonnato was superb, and the tomato risotto was heavenly. The restaurant itself is dark allowing for every table to visually isolate itself from the others, a welcome sense of privacy. A well deserved Michelin Star.
We stumbled upon this delightful restaurant today. What an absolute delight! At the time, we were unaware of their Michelin Star; were not quite sure what we ordered; and frankly, were a little tired and cranky. Nonetheless, from our first bite, to our last, we were enchanted. Wholeheartedly, I recommend the food, staff, venue, and overall experience.
Fantastic experience a few kilometers from Turin. Surely the most interesting proposal of the city. I recommend to everyone the trip to this place where the technique, the taste and the genius meet around the table.

Sono rimasta molto colpita dall’accoglienza: personale super gentile e attento, davvero un grande punto di forza del locale. Bellissima la mise en place e ambiente elegante e curato. Il menù al cioccolato era un’idea interessante, ma personalmente mi aspettavo qualcosa in più. Alcune proposte (come piatti con tartufo, pesce o la bagna cauda) possono risultare particolari e non adatte a tutti i gusti. Dal tema del cioccolato mi aspettavo una marcia in più. Detto questo, i plin erano buonissimi e anche la battuta davvero ottima. Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche l’attenzione verso il cliente: sapendo che il tartufo non era di nostro gradimento, è stato escluso dal dolce che lo prevedeva. Magari la prossima volta proveremo l’esperienza più legata alla tradizione da cui nasce questo locale. Nel complesso una bella esperienza, soprattutto per il servizio e l’atmosfera.

The service was courteous, although a more prompt response to issues would have made it impeccable. Overall, a pleasant evening offering quality cuisine.

We'd like to share an experience we had some time ago. We had high expectations, but in our opinion they didn't live up to the star rating. The service: The menu explanation wasn't immediately clear. When ordering, and only then, were we informed that the dish we'd chosen wasn't available (eel) and weren't offered any alternatives (in fact, we couldn't choose a main course since one of the two dishes wasn't available). Regarding the wines, the idea of a "digital" wine list is nice, but since it might not work (as it did), perhaps it would be better to have at least a paper copy. The choice of wine... wasn't exactly a choice given the limited availability of bottles. The service was certainly very attentive, only "refilling" glasses and nothing else. We expected attentive, meticulous, and professional service, but instead... Regarding the food: The "il mercato" menu we chose was mediocre in its entrees and appetizers, while the first course (overcooked pasta) was disappointing. The hamburger—we had high expectations—proved to be very simple, with some flaws in its cooking. The location is the only positive note in this review—we had the pleasure of being hosted in the very welcoming "private" room. This review was written by four friends who share a passion for good food and were very disappointed with the treatment they received and the food they ate.
