This is by far the BEST coffee shop in SLO county. Drinks are creative and oh so tasty. I got the Lavender Tea Latte, but blended with ice. Not on the menu but I asked for it and they were all about it. Love that kind of service. My baristas were friendly, entertaining and cute—just the way I like ‘em. Thanks for being yourself you two. Will definitely be back for more amazing coffee and tea.

Staff was friendly, inside was very clean with plenty of seating options. Street parking available - took us a little bit to find a spot. I tried the iced Mexican Mocha with soy milk, and it was so so good. My husband tried the white Mocha mathc matcha, and said his was really good as well. They know their coffee, for sure. We didn't get any food because we wanted actual breakfast, and from I could tell, they only had pastries. We are visiting from the East Coast, but we will definitely be going back before our trip is over. Update: We went back!! This time, we tried the Dark Chocolate Turtle and the Salted Caramel Mocha. Blown away all over again!

Such a cute coffee shop in central Pismo Beach and the coffee is fantastic! They actually ask you if you want a medium roast or a dark roast and they ask what ounce-size you want it in. No fancy blends or weird cup names! Woohoo! The cups are plain, too! But the coffee is the star and it's not burned and not bland and is just right (I got the medium blend). I really love the surf movies on the TV screens and old surfing pictures. I don't know the story behind Scorpion Bay but now I am interested!

Located on Dolliver St. and Hinds Ave. walking distance to the beach. There is street parking, but can be difficult to find an open spot. I walked here since my hotel was a block away. I tried 'The Original Scorpion Latte' over ice which is made with organic honey, cayenne pepper, milk, and espresso'. Such an interesting way to put a latte together, but I definitely liked the "kick" in it. This place has a great menu that consists of Drip coffee, as well as Specialty Espresso drinks, Cortado, Cold Brews, Chai, Matcha, Teas, Hot Chocolate, oatmeal, croissants, bagels, pre-made breakfast burritos, pastries. They also have a good variety of merch. Plenty of seating if you want to relax and enjoy your treat here. Such a clean and cozy lobby. Prices are very reasonable. Welcoming and friendly staff. I had my dog with me and they were super accepting of him being with me indoors. Overall, I had a nice experience here and will definitely return to try other menu items.

This is a great coffee and breakfast, pastry destination. The best way to imagine this coffee shop is a non-corporate Starbucks that dust things with care, consideration, and really wanting to put a home touch on the products that they make and drinks they serve. The service here is amazing, you will receive a happy face and a welcome to greet you and inquire on what they can make you for your day. I for one personally like the vanilla lattes, while the wife loves the strawberry kiss latte in either hot or cold. You really can't go wrong with this coffee company because they do a lot of things right. I'm also a big fan of their pastries and hardy breakfast sandwiches that really will feel you up along with being a great tasting product. I'm a fan of the croissant base breakfast sandwiches as they are buttery, flaky, and just melt in your mouth. So if you're in the neighborhood and you want some non-corporate home made coffee, this is your place. Enjoy the food and drinks, enjoy your day, and please be safe in your travels.

Stopped by for a shot of caffeine while traveling south. My iced Samoan coffee was so good, we hit it again on our way back home to ensure its consistency. It might be the best coffee drink I have ever had. Make sure you ask for some cream to top it off and you will not be disappointed. This place is buzzing when tourist are in town, but the wait is well worth it.

The ultimate iced almond milk latte. Really high quality coffee with exceptionally good almond milk. Ive been drinking lattes for years. This place is better then anywhere from laguna beach to santa barbara. We drive an hr.to enjoy this special place.Kristin was incredibly friendly and a pleasure to meet. Hope to return soon.

Great coffee overall. Got the lavender white mocha and the killer scorpion, both are amazing not do strong if your looking for a mid day pick me up. Customer service was fast and attentive even asked if I wanted my scone warmed up (lemon scone).

Kristin made my stop in the middle of a cross country move totally amazing. Blueberry scone was out of this world amazing, soft not dry and not too sweet. Charged my phone for an hour and walked the dog around the clean safe sidewalks. She gave me a few extra dog treats for the drive to Oakland and I made sure to tell Milton they were from her :) The coffee was good but the vibes totally sold me!

Scorpion Bay company as a wonderful environment and great coffee. I had a great visit with some friends and was even able to attend a business meeting remotely over zoom with their fast wi-fi. They have great background music but it's not too loud making visiting easy friendly staff. I highly recommend casual meetings here or even just a place to hang out and still work remotely Update: visited again 8/14/2023 Great service, good environment and no background music this time making visiting very easy I got tea and they were generous with the tea bags and gave free hot water refills.

I got the London Fog and it tasted amazing! Great location and staff was very kind. Small dogs are allowed if they stay on the side by the window. Stop by for a good coffee or tea before your day at the beach! :)

Hell to the yeah! Recommended by my son, I tried Scorpion🦂 Bay Coffee for the first time. I got the Chocolate Covered Scorpion specialty coffee with oat milk. I was a little apprehensive about the cayenne pepper, but was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't overpowering, just enhanced the yummy chocolate flavor. This drink was sweet and needed no extra sugar. It was more like a dessert, both satisfying and delicious. Goodbye Starbuck's! Hello Scorpion Bay🦂!

Best coffee ever. Bakery case had flys on the pastries and front windows(which are covered in fingerprints and dirty) were swarming with flys so I'd never eat here. BUT the coffee, really is the best.

The coffee was vanilla, nothing great, staff couldn't be bothered with engaging customers. I get it, tourists are lame. I live here, I'm local. And they just chatted with themselves. I'm debating about coming back, but with difficult parking and coffee on par with Starbucks.....it might be a one and done. I guess if you were visiting pismo, and didn't want to drink hotel room coffee then this place is perfectly fine.

Coffee was pretty decent not the best. Customer service could be better. We asked for the code for the restroom since customers could use them, and the older lady that works there complained saying they now need to change the code. We let it slide it was whatever, but what got to us was when we were getting our drinks we asked for some straws because there was none left on the table. The same older lady gave attitude and said “it’s behind you”. Where? It’s empty. We told her it was empty and she only gave us ONE straw for TWO drinks. I don’t know what that lady’s deal was but they need to improve their customer service to not just the locals but to the tourists too. Keep in mind she was being nice to everyone else around us. Crazy!
