We had a delightful evening. The restaurant is located just steps from Lake Piverone and is one of the restaurants of the Tradizione Canavesana, an association of restaurateurs who celebrate the region and the unique characteristics of the Canavese area. I was immediately struck by the round tables and especially by the unique and characteristic arrangement of the chairs, which already demonstrates an attention to hospitality and detail. The menu is in line with tradition, with a few ingredients that make the dishes a little more "cool." There were eight of us and we ate a bit of everything (much to the delight of the kitchen). I preferred to try the specialty conegone, the river fish from Lake Viverone. I had it as an appetizer in carpione (pickled with onions, sage, and vegetables, a typical Piedmontese dish) and then as a main course I had it with fried perch with skirts. The perch was very, very good. Other diners enjoyed the Fassone battutala with tempura zucchini flowers, and the turmeric gnocchi with mint and sopek. We also had no qualms about the price: stuffed peaches (good), a portion of zabaglione (really well presented and a lot of it), apple puff pastry with cream and galato (very good and similar to tarte tatin), and even the nougat and raspberry semifreddo. It was a very pleasant evening. The food lived up to expectations. The portions were also adequate; the only thing that could perhaps be improved was the speed, as we waited a bit long (also because we ordered a thousand different things). Good value for money. We'll be back. PS: There are no mosquitoes, and above all, it's wonderful to be inside, even in the summer.

After an interesting visit to Olivetti in Ivrea, we were looking for a nice place to have lunch...and voilà! A magnificent location, a romantic veranda, sublime dishes, impeccable service. Signora Ornella, refined, friendly, and elegant, welcomed us to this location overlooking Lake Viverone. Highly recommended!

This restaurant, managed by Ornella, is a delightful one. A road separates it from the lake, which fills it with freshness and light. Exemplary dishes, carefully prepared, and cooked to perfection. Tasty raw fish, tagliolini with whitefish, and a mojito sorbet with candied fruit. Excellent wines from the greenhouse, and quick and friendly service.

I went with my fiancé for our anniversary to eat at this wonderful restaurant. The staff is courteous, helpful, and kind, and the food, well, what can I say, is exceptional, with a variety of meat and fish. As soon as you arrive, they bring you handmade breadsticks and a welcome plate. We had the delicious Piedmontese appetizer, especially the veal with tuna sauce, a tartare (a type of beef tartare) with that delicious sauce, a very delicate hare tajirin, and the squid ink tagliolini, which were phenomenal. Then we had the cod with a very, very soft pea sauce. For dessert, there was a wide variety, but we preferred not to have that (because we were full), and instead had a coffee, which they accompanied with some homemade sweets (a meringue, a dark chocolate praline, and a berry biscuit). It's a very charming restaurant, I highly recommend it!!!

Andati per pranzo di Natale. Eravamo già andati negli anni prepandemia e ci eravamo trovati molto bene. Cibo e servizio ottimo. Quest'anno invece il cibo è stato alquanto lacunoso nella freschezza, gusto e presentazione. Nulla da dire sul servizio sempre cortese e impeccabile ma quest'anno ahi ahi AHI abbiamo un po' toppato. Rapporto qualità/prezzo sicuramente non all'altezza

Bel locale, il personale è molto cortese e capace. Le portate da noi consumate erano tutte di buona qualità e ben presentate, ad un corrispettivo in euro però forse un po' elevato. Buona disponibilità in cantina. Bella serata, però se decidete di stare fuori mettete in conto di cenare con lo zampirone antizanzare che a mio avviso poco aiuta a godere dei piatti consumati ... 😷

Very average welcome and service. Our dog didn't seem welcome, even though we had announced we were coming with a Labrador when booking and she is really well-behaved and calm (she is 13 years old). The food was good, nothing special. We have eaten better in other restaurants in the area since our arrival. Finally, probably because we came with a dog, we were placed near the smoking area, which spoiled our meal.

Terrible service, poorly served because we had a dog. We were seated behind the smoking area even though we don't smoke. Smokers should be seated there, and people with a calm 13-year-old Labrador should be in a quiet area, free from smoke. We had to wait over 10 minutes to be told to go inside to pay, even though we were asked if we wanted to pay inside or at the table. Then we waited over 15 minutes to pay inside; I had to go find the owner and then wait for her to arrive. The meal was average and expensive compared to what's available in the region and even in Switzerland. Poor value for money. The octopus was much better in Switzerland and cheaper. The vitelo tonatto was much better in Viverone at another restaurant.
