Food, service and ambience were amazing! Ordered the chicken fajita and a valentine day cocktail that was absolutely delicious!
Rogelio (hope I’m spelling it right) was absolutely amazing even with how insanely busy it was! He was personable, funny, and truly made the whole experience even better. Do yourself a favor and try their espresso martinis and strawberry margaritas. Easily top 5 drinks I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
A fantastic restaurant for dinner date or a casual dining dining in the middle of Legacy West. Pleasing ambience, awesome service and great food makes it a wonderful dining experience. Though they only have a few vegetarian and vegan options, what they have satisfied our evening. Friendly reception and excellent service made it a great night for us. The seating towards the curb was noisy and they were glad to relocate us to the interior section, which had brought a good mood for the evening. However the curb had great views of dancing fountain lights with some fun filled music, if you don't mind the noise levels.
Our first time here in a Friday eve and we liked it a lot. Hubi tried the Colorado plate & I had the combination plate both were good. I didn't care for the brisket taco. The meat was too salty snd tough but loved my chicken enchiladas and cheese enchilada. Loved the Reese hot chips with the red salsa. We also ordered the corn elotes as an accompaniment to our dinner and it was made fresh and so creamy with a touch of heat from the Jalopenos & wow it was so so tasty. It was decorated for the holidays and the fountains our in front were colorful and entertaining. It got a bit loud and noisy and our waiter was so overwhelmed he didn't check on us as much bit we want to go back soon. Loved the food.
From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and professional. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, offered great recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. You can tell the team here really takes pride in creating a great dining experience. The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We started with the queso and ceviche, which were both excellent, and the brisket tacos and enchiladas were full of bold, authentic flavors. Even the chips and salsa trio before the meal were next-level. What really stood out was the management. One of the managers stopped by to check in on our table, and it didn’t feel like a formality — he genuinely cared about our experience and made us feel like valued guests. It’s that kind of attention to detail that sets Mesero apart. The atmosphere is lively but not too loud, with a stylish, modern vibe that makes it great for date nights or group dinners. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, drinks, and service in Legacy West!
Hostesses was attentive. Eduardo was our server. He provided exceptional service, steakhouse service, wow! Food was delicious 😋 and the restaurant is pretty and elegant. Good ambiance. Great variety of meals, and don’t forget the trio of dippings to enjoy with chips. Prices are decent and not overpriced.
This location has an early happy hour and a perfect patio. I had a gap between my meetings and dinner so I just needed a quick snack. As a solo diner, it was wonderful not to be asked to sit at the bar and get seated outside. I did the happy hour margarita and the happy hour tacos. You get six tiny tacos but they were full and delicious asked the margarita was great! The servers were very nice and kept my water full and offered a chip refill. I will definitely be back with my friends and family.
We had shrimp ceviche, ahi tuna nacho, braised pork entree and the brisket taco enchilada combination. My favorite was the ahi tuna nacho. It has rich flavor and nicely grilled fish. Shrimp ceviche was appetizing, but I feel like it was kind of boring. a lot of the tangy flavor but not much anything else. The braised pork was huge in portion. Not as tender as I thought but with the onion, mushroom, and the sauce, it was pretty tasty. The taco enchilada combination was definitely a letdown. The brisket taco was very dry, and I did not have the appetite to try the rest. I do like the experience and the atmosphere here, we had a booth and I was facing the door and I could see the fountain outside.
High-end Mexican kind of place. I tried the tuna tacos (good but not great). The black beans are really good! Presentation is great! We ordered the La Latina cocktail and I really liked that (it also was a good serving size for a cocktail). The tomato soup was also good!
The food was yummy - 5 stars! The ambiance (especially the patio) are amazing - 5 stars! The service was not great - 2 stars. This was our first visit, double date night! and we were treated to a patio seat on the first amazing night of the season. We had a reservation for four and when two of us checked in early, letting the hostess know we were happy to wait until the other two arrived, she assured us it was no big deal to seat us early. Our waitress was not too thrilled, nor did her mood or attitude change through the evening. We were accidentally seated with no menus, so when our waitress arrived a few minutes later asking what we wanted to drink and we were not ready, stating we'd like drink menus, she huffed and walked away to get us menus. As she handed them to us, again she asked "what would you like to drink?" As kindly as we could we asked for a moment to read through the options, but could we have water. She turned and walked away. A few moments later a kind & smiling gentlemen brought us water, chips & the salsa trio. When our waitress finally returned to get our drink order we were ready! When the rest of our party arrived, they had literally just picked up the drink menu when the waitress did the same to them. We all did our best to be as patient and kind as we could to her, giving her the benefit of the doubt (maybe she had a bad day, her kid was sick, she got some bad news, etc). She was clearly frustrated we wouldn't be ordering any starters and I don't recall if she checked on us once our meals were delivered, but I'd like to say she did. Our dinner plates had been cleared for some time when we finally flagged her down to ask for dessert menus, she acted put-off and was even more frustrated (body language and a verbal "huff") when only one of us ordered dessert. She dropped the checks at the same time the dessert was brought and when she circled around a few moments later she picked up clearly EMPTY checks (we hadn't put our cards in yet) she made an big deal of saying "oh they're empty" and laying them back down in the middle of the table! We all cringed for her and without waiting another moment handed her our cards. She brought them back very quickly and we never saw her again. Our waters were never filled again and our chips, which we had asked to be re-filled during dinner, had never been refilled. We all agreed we would try Mesero again, the food and ambiance were good enough to come back, and hopefully this waitress has moved on, or her future days got better.
Visited Mesero at Legacy West on Valentine’s Day. We had a table pre-booked and were seated within 5–10 minutes of arrival, which was smooth considering how crowded it was. The dine-in space was well-decorated and had a lively vibe. One of the main highlights of this location is the beautiful view of the water fountain just outside the restaurant — you can enjoy your meal with a view, which really adds to the experience. We tried the chicken and shrimp tacos — the food was okay, nothing extraordinary. Parking was a bit of a challenge as the area is quite busy. Overall, a decent experience. I’ve added some pictures from our visit as well!
Pretty decent Mexican restaurant in Legacy West. I was very fond of their dips for their complimentary tortilla chip, especially the spicy one, while we were waiting for the somewhat slow service. The dips also complimented the tacos well. As for the tacos, they were decent but not remarkable. There's better family owned Mexican restaurants that are also more affordable. This restaurant and it's surrounding area are very nice though. The churros were nice and have a caramel filling. As for the service it seemed a little sloppy. No problem with the wait staff themselves but things seemed generally disorganized. Our server was changed in the middle and things were quite slow to come out. It is a huge restaurant in a popular area though, so I guess that's to be expected.
Came for a birthday dinner on a early Thursday night (5:00pm). Not busy at all during our time there till 7:00pm. There were actually more non-kitchen staff than customers with many servers lounging around on the booths or just chatting in corners. Food was pretty good. Though the beef fajitas were kind of dry, the ribeye fajitas were delicious and so were the enchiladas. The dessert was divine and not cloying sweet. Unfortunately the service which was not that great (to put it politely) with the server being rude, dismissive, and demanding. If not for the service would have easily gave it a 4 or even 5 stars.
My friends and I arrived to Masero a few minutes before our reservation at 7:30pm, just to wait another 30 minutes to be seated! The hostess told me and my friends we would be seated in a few moments but they did not take my number down so that they can notify me when a table is ready. I spoke with another hostess and asked about the wait time for a table another 10 minutes later and I was told that they have a lot of occupied tables with patrons who are taking a longer time to leave. Again, the hostess did not ask for my number to contact me when a table was ready. I think it is pointless to make a reservation at this establishment, just to be lumped in with walk ins who were able to get a table quicker than my friends and I. After my friends and I were seated, our meal was okay.
You would think a place in a high end area would be great. At the very least you’d expect the food and drink to be decent, but you’d be wrong. Not only is the food ok at best if we’re being generous, but it’s very expensive. $15 for a few ounces of queso and too chunky, flavorless guac is highway robbery. Then the margaritas taste like rubbing alcohol. Then we paid in cash, and all the bartender had was 20’s? Literally no change? So basically we leave no tip, or leave a 50% tip for poor service? What kind of place doesn’t keep change on hand? That just harms the service staff more than anything. Well, lesson learned. Never going back there again.
Went to Mesero at this location to celebrate a friend's birthday. The Queso Fondido could have been lifted off the iron skillet with a fork like a pancake. Had to ask for it to be reheated which somewhat helped. How it was made lacked ingredients to make it more creamy so it didnt taste like I was biting into a slightly melted mozzarella stick. The chicken enchilada had a little gristle. Quality of meat could have been better. All 5 entres including the appetizer arrived cold. Not what I would have expected in comparison to other locations that I have experienced. And the tres leches cake was dry. I think they had whipped heavy cream and slapped it between the dry cake slabs and plopped the sliced strawberry on top. Boxed cake would have been better than this. I don't know if this location doesn't know but tres leches should be moist. At the end of the meal, the server had dropped our card. Fortunately, a customer had turned it in after 15 minutes of asking around. For about 145 bucks, you pay mostly for presentation. This dining experience lacked freshness. If I wanted pre-prepared meals, I would have just gone to Walmart frozen section.
