Amazing place, amazing atmosphere this food was just incredible I came here to eat after a 18 hr drive from Pennsylvania and I will come back everytime I’m in Dallas!!
They have indoor and out door seating. You seat yourself, service is always quick and good. My server today recommended the sugar burger and its by far my new favorite next time I go I will add Gouda to it as he suggested. I've never had a bad thing here and very week or every month they have a new burger in their head to head competition some of those can be CRAZY but good.
There is more than one location, and I have no point of comparison, but this place is excellent. I’ve been here a few times when in Dallas. Every burger I’ve gotten has been delicious, and they have a nice selection of beer on tap. The servers have always been great and I dig the vibe. It’s a little hard to spot from the road, but those are questions to be addressed by ownership, not a happy patron.
This place makes fantastic burgers. My husband's favorites are the Bodacious and the Chaca Oaxaca. I'm simpler and am partial to the Royale with Cheese. I love their fries or goat chips with ranch. I'm very picky about ranch and I love theirs. They have kid options and delicious milk shakes.
We went to Rodeo Goat, and I had one of the burgers that was competing (one of the featured burgers they usually keep near the top of the menu). I don’t remember the exact name, but honestly, it didn’t matter because it was delicious. Juicy, flavorful, perfectly built… one of those burgers you keep thinking about after the meal is over. Every time I eat here, the food is consistently great, and the vibe is always fun and relaxed. If you’re looking for one of the best burgers in Plano, Rodeo Goat is an easy recommendation. Whether you’re a first-timer or a regular, this place delivers every single time.
I ordered through Door Dash, and I was very pleasantly surprised. This was probably the best food across the board that I've had from a burger place. Everything I ordered was interesting and great! I had the Chaca Oaxaca burger with added grilled jalapeno, a side salad, fries, and pumpkin spice goat balls. I loved the burger and goat balls, but the fries and salad surprised me. The fries were seasoned with salt, pepper, and parsley... which was better than I thought it would be. The salad was much better quality than most side salads you get at restaurants. I'm used to getting iceberg lettuce, with a few tomatoes, onion slivers, and croutons lazily tossed on.
Can I give it a 10? First time to a Rodeo Goat and it was absolutely the best hamburgers and Fries. Taiyana our server was quick and efficient, giving us suggestions and explained the menu. We took her suggestions at heart, ordering the fries with the chili at the side. Brisket chili was good all by itself. Food was great!
If you’re craving a great burger and fries, Rodeo Goat never disappoints! The burger was perfectly cooked with fresh toppings — crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, thick-cut onion, and that soft, golden bun tying it all together. Every bite had that perfect balance of flavor and texture. The fries? Absolutely spot on. Crispy, seasoned just right, and even better when dipped in their ranch or classic ketchup. Great vibe, solid service, and the food speaks for itself. Always worth the visit!
If you're a burger lover, **Rodeo Goat is a must-visit**. Their burgers are packed with flavor, and the variety on the menu means there's something for everyone. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the customer service is consistently top-notch. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, this spot delivers a great experience every time.
Rodeo Goat has a diverse range of delicious gourmet burgers and sides in an atmosphere of your choosing. First, on atmosphere. The restaurant is big and has a very large high tabletop bar area, a dining area with booths, and an outdoor seating. If you can't find the atmosphere you're looking for, you're just not looking. It's quite enough to carry on a conversation yet loud enough not to be overheard. It's usually difficult to write things about atmosphere, Rodeo Goat makes it easy. We've been multiple times, and the food has always been top notch. This isn't a place I'd go to if I was trying to lose weight, but if you're after a burger and sides, it'll have something for you. Tonight, my spouse had the Cheese Fries Surprise (w/chili...see picture) for her meal. The portion was huge, they said we could get a half order, but we opted for a full order since it was her dinner. She probably would have been fine with a half order, I helped her with much of it and we still took some home. We were both really fond of the Brisket Chili they served with the fries, it was really delicious. I had a Ranch House burger and a side of sweet potato fries, again delicious. The service was prompt and courteous, the staff was firing on all cylinders. I can't speak for all of their locations but the one in Plano is certainly worth the trip.
This place has one of the best burgers in Dallas! We visited for the first time on a random Wednesday night when we were craving a good burger and came across the restaurant on Google Maps. For a Wednesday, it was surprisingly packed. I ordered the Bodacious Burger, and my husband chose one from the "Battle of the Burgers" from the board. I love that they not only offer a wide selection of burgers on the menu but also have these battle burgers which I believe change every month. That night, our waitress told us that Wednesdays they have half-price cheese fries all day for dine-in customers. So we decided to try them out and OMG… YUM! What we didn’t realize was how huge the portion would be—you could easily share it with three or four people. The restaurant has a classic burger joint ambiance, with high tables and chairs inside. Outside, there’s a spacious patio with plenty of seating, and the best part is you can bring your dog! Overall, I loved the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and, most importantly, the food. YUM!
Love this restaurant for a quick date night. We’ve taken the kids here a few times too. They have gf buns and can easily accommodate my gf requests.

My wife and I was looking for a great burger place and a friend recommended Rodeo Goat. I have to say that we were both very pleased with our burgers and fries. My wife had the “Bodacious” while I …
Burgers were actually really good! Well made and didnt fall apart into a big old ball of wet meat by the end. The cheese fries were pretty average but thats what cheese fries are for. Ended up there for about two hours though as the waitress only came to see us about 4 times from beginning to end. Watched entire groups order, eat, and leave before I could even get a to go box. Consistently tried to get her attention but eye contact just wasnt on the menu that day. Luckily I was in good company so it wasnt too bad. Would still go again, might have just been a lazy Tuesday! There are parking lots a bit further away, but the street its on has street parking, which can be stressful.
Well, this a happy review. We have generally avoided this place since our first visit, but my Celiac daughter is in town from UT, and she had a hankering for a burger. We just realized that Rodeo Goat has a gluten free bun, so we tried it again. First of all, easy to find a seat. Open, warm, and inviting with several available seating options inside and outside. Seat yourself. Our waiter was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and respectfully attentive. Drinks came out on time, and the appetizer followed nicely along. Our main dishes were served at the exact same time, and they were hot and fresh. Lots of places have gluten-free buns, but very few have one that is worth going to. Bean, gave her bun a 9 out of 10! So, good job. The rest of the meals were very good. Chips and salsa were great, but I am not sure if they do free refills. All of the burgers were cooked to order, and special orders were respected and fulfilled. I particularly enjoyed my Cheese Fries Surprise with brisket chili. I substituted fries for tater-tots. That's my thing. They got all of the minor menu requests done exactly. We walked out with 4 enthusiastic thumbs up and left overs.
Rodeo Goat has a lot of character. The decor is super fun and I love all the pictures they have on the walls. The food was pretty good. I loved the steaming pile and I think I made a mistake not getting a bun on my burger but it was still good. Had a fun Gin drink that was super tasty. Food came out quickly. The server did a nice job. Overall good experience. I’d go back for sure but get a bun on my burger next time.

Priced appropriately, table service was ok, but open seating seems more confusing than liberating, the burger that I had was good the veg was fresh and it was the perfect level of spice for me. I am good with a medium burger, however, my companion did not specify the temp to which he wanted his burger cooked and it was def on the rare side. It was an OK burger, with OK ambience and pretty solid service. For those who are budget conscious it makes a very decent lunch. Don't expect it to knock your socks off.
