This was my first time eating here after passing by it numerous times. Ordering is through a couple kiosks, however, I found one of them the credit card machine was not working so I had to wait for the other kiosk to free up and place my order again. I got the loaded steak nachos and the birria tacos. The nachos were massive. They could have been my lunch all by itself. Luckily I was with someone else to help me eat it. The nachos were loaded with so many toppings and each bite was flavorful. I actually had a bunch of toppings leftover after eating all my chips which almost never happens. The birria tacos were tasty on their own and loaded with meat. I took some bites with and without the consommé and I found the consommé to be lacking in flavor. I didn’t taste much of a difference so I ate the majority of my plate without it. All in all I spent about $50 for two taco plates, the nachos, and a drink. A bit pricey but I feel you get your money’s worth in food. I would definitely get the nachos again. The birria tacos were good but I think I will try something else as they didn’t stand out other than the amount of meat each taco had. The staff were friendly and were quick to serve. They did a good job of cleaning tables to ensure customers had a place to sit.
I stumbled in this place walking around looking for dinner. I wasn’t expecting much and I was craving fish. Dude… these Mahi tacos were bomb. Everything looked really fresh and delicious. Yum!
They have some amazing birria tacos and the consomme is full of flavor along with being a lil thick so ypu actually get a full biteon your taco!! I cant wait for their upcoming location to make it to Louisiana!! The staff is very helpful and friendly as well!! Definitely a new favorite when we're in town!!
Service was quick, fresh, fun music while waiting - they had a bunch of sauces and sour cream pre packaged and portioned you could choose from (so no one judges you for your sauce needs) No notes 😌
The tacos my friends and I chose were absolutely delicious and filling. My favorite was the Carribean Carne Tacos. The plantains, avocado sauce, and tender steak blended together into one amazing flavor. Additionally, the sheer size of each taco had my stomach content after 2 of them, but because I was melting over how yummy they were, I had to finish all 3. Service was great too! The staff was very attentive in making sure we were taken care of. We are very happy to have found this place!
I went to Talking Tacos and it was really good! I had the nachos, great portion size for the price and super tasty. Our whole group ended up trying them, and everybody loved it! The servings were big enough that we even took some home. Definitely recommend!
restaurant was really clean, the staff were extremely welcoming and even offered me free refill. not to mention the delicious birria tacos. the soup is savory, perfect texture for the taco shell, and the meat was extremely juicy. 10/10 would recommend
It was our first time as a Turkish family. To be honest I was a little b it nervous thinking that spices would be so different than our cuisine but the taste was amazing. It was so delicious without crazy amounts of different spices. We ordered almost half of the menu and we loved all of them. Also staff was so helpful and friendly especially brother Laith served us and helped us with the kids we felt like we were home or invited a family dinner with really good company. I’ve always wanted to try Mexican food but there was no halal options so far. So thanks to owners for this amazing restaurant chain to give us opportunity to experience this amazing cuisine.
The creative way they are able to incorporate BIRRIA in everything is impressive. Birria mac and cheese ? Amazing! There’s even Birria ramen. The best part is my kids love this place. Misty went out of her way to make sure everything came out correctly. She was awesome. This is our 3rd time here in 2 weeks and are planning our next trip here already. Oh and you must get the churros!
This place is great. I've been here so many times. The food is fresh and authentic. Has great flavors. The hours are awesome as well too. It stays open late till 2:00 a.m. I was helped by Laith, and he did a wonderful job. Very helpful and went over the menu with me as well. Can't recommend this place enough. I also had the Southwest chicken tacos which were awesome. Make sure you try their various sauces.
Went with my friend the other day (yes, there is a BeReal among these photos but it contains the food too) and omg this place was so much fun! The food was well portioned for the prices and it felt like everyone working loved their jobs. They were so easy to talk to and were quick to double check orders (ex: if you wanted guac on the side but forgot to enter that through the Kiosk). My only—slight—gripe is that the container for the Birria mac and cheese was so hard to mix everything together. Other than that, I would absolutely recommend this place!!
Really impressed with the service! The portions were generous and everything tasted great. We tried the Birria tacos and loaded fries — loved the protein serving and the fresh guacamole. Unlike many other places, they also offer filtered water, which is a nice touch. Kudos to the team! I’ll definitely be coming back
Halal Mexican Surprise! Talkin' Tacos in Plano, TX was a delightful surprise for both me and the kids. This was my first experience with halal Mexican cuisine, and it definitely set the bar high. I got the Steak Burrito (SPICY) with additional cilantro, while the kids opted for their usuals: Chicken Tenders with Fries and Apple Juice. The burrito was bursting with flavor and heat—the steak was tender, well-cooked, and had its own distinct flavor throughout each mouthful. I honestly forgot to take more photos since I was so excited to dig in! The kids enjoyed their lunch just as much, so it was a win for the whole family. The service was smooth and efficient. Ordering at the kiosk sped up the procedure and reduced long lineups, which is definitely an advantage when you're with a large party! The ambiance was clean, cozy, and roomy. They had plenty of seating and could easily accommodate our large family. Talkin' Tacos has become an official staple in my Texas cuisine trip! I'll definitely return to sample more of the menu—there are so many alternatives to explore. Highly recommended!
If you haven’t tried this place, it’s time to try! Musa is very nice and personable and friendly! Started out as a food truck in Florida and grew to many locations there, and they decided to try Texas out! The nachos are phenomenal! The birria ramen was good, but needed more flavor, spice maybe? The Elotes was very good!!
We absolutely loved this place!!! The food was so flavorful and fresh, everything we tried was delicious 😋 I had the tacos and the chips with queso. My husband got the burrito and couldn’t stop raving about it! He said it was one of the BEST he’s ever had!! The flavors were bold, the portions generous, and everything tasted homemade with so much care. If you’re looking for a halal, gluten-free-friendly, and seriously yummy spot, this place is a must-try. Highly recommend it!💯👏🏻

Food is delicious! staff is great! Laith was amazing, he takes care of the place like an owner would! We will be back!
This Halal Tacos place is awesome and those who like yo try Halal Tacos it's just right there at Plano!!! And the restrooms are super clean too !!!
Fantastic tacos and halal on top of that! The queso topped with taki was so tasty along with the crispy chips! I sister and I split the an order of tacos that had southwest chicken and birria tacos…
Food was alright - queso tasted a bit too much like Velveeta, and the Taki crumbles felt more gimmicky than something that added flavor (plus it's $6 if you want chips with it!). The tacos are decently sized but would expect a bit more at $16 for 3. Flavor was pretty good - had carne asada and it was very greasy. The tortillas were nice though, crisping them up is a nice touch. Probably will go back at some point but not rushing back.
This was my first visit to Talkin' Tacos on Parkwood Blvd. As a 51-year-old, I’ll admit the place was a little loud for my taste—definitely geared more toward a younger crowd. Ordering is done on a small touchscreen, and the photos and descriptions weren’t very clear, so the first-time ordering process was confusing. There was also no one around to help. I wanted a real Mexican sugar Coca-Cola but ended up with a Jarritos cola instead. It was fine, just not what I was hoping for. The restaurant itself looks really cool and is nicely decorated. The best part, though, was the food—it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the shrimp tacos (three tacos plus a soda) for about $18, and they were excellent. One thing I didn’t understand was being asked to tip when no one takes your order—someone just brings the food to your table. That said, I’d still come back for the food. There are several other items I’d like to try, and next time I may just sit on the patio when the weather is warmer.
If you like Tex-mex food this is a nice place to try. The food is good, the service is pleasant, and the atmosphere is relaxing. I would recommend that if you're going to try desserts or the orchata drink then share with others. Those are some pretty sweet snacks. The food could be comparable to Torchy's Tacos for pricing, but this place has a lot more variety. Overall I would try this place again when I am in the area.
The Mrs. saw a video on Facebook from the Talkin' Tacos, and we knew we had to go. Lucky for us, it was a short drive to Plano, Tx. There was a long line, and it appeared to be only one person working the front counter, and only one out of two ordering kiosks was functioning. That being said, the young lady behind the counter was working as quickly as she could and soon impressed me with her multitasking skills. Once we ordered, it took less than 5 minutes for our starter, a huge tray of chips and guacamole. The guacamole was fresh and filled with onion and tomato, the chips crunchy, warm, and fresh. My steak bowl was stuffed to the top and tasted amazing. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her massive Crispy Stacked Wrap. We ordered the Cookies & Cream Churros for dessert. We learned during our lunch that they were shortstaffed, and you could tell they were doing their best to serve everyone as quickly as possible.
Food is consistently good. Steak was a little less flavorful this visit, but still good. We used the app this time to skip the line, as it can get fairly busy. **Be aware the app automatically adds in a tip, ours was $7.** If you're not paying attention you'll be paying an automatic tip for picking up your own food. You have to remove the tip prior to submitting your order.

Good place for halal tacos. We've been there a few times and tried different things. The birria ramen is good but a little on the salty side, and I may be the only one complaining of too much meat.…
The shrimp bang bang tacos were great!! A little too much sauce for my taste so definitely asking for it on the side next time.
Food was just alright not very flavorful. Extremely overpriced food. Also you have to pay for water! They only offer $5-$8 medium size drinks with no refills.

It’s hard to rate the place. The food is great but maybe it’s the service that’s questionable. Ordered the birria pizza and it’s not sliced and it’s all piled in the middle. Maybe the cooks never eaten a pizza before but this is just a giant taco at this point. Also give them plenty of time since my last two orders have taken at least 20 minutes. My last order was for just three birria tacos and they tasted amazing but took them 20+ minutes. Same today with this “pizza” so be prepared to wait or order your food 20 minutes before you get there.
Decided to stop here while visiting from Michigan and it was an ok experience. Staff were very nice and helpful. There were a lot of tables that needed to be cleaned though, and the floor needed to be swept. That should be a regular thing especially when customers are constantly coming in. We ordered a loaded nacho, birrira tacos, a taco salad, the street corn, and a blue lemonade. The birrira tacos were the best out of everything ordered, next would be the corn. If I return, it will only be for the tacos and maybe the corn. The lemonade was very basic for the price. This whole lunch was a bit pricey, if we had of only ordered the tacos it would have been worth it. Overall an ok experience.

Food had a weird taste to it and it was overpriced. Ended up getting food poisoning from eating here. Would not recommend and will not return.
service was lacking professionalism, and a care for guest experience all adults got their food but when asked about the kids meals we get a "we are getting them" and to turn around and make a face …
for how expensive the food is it's not worth it. the food took long to come out, the queso taste like nacho cheese, our chips weren't even fresh they were stale. very disappointed.

My partner and I wanted to finally try this place for a date. The food we got was very underwhelming. I was super excited to eat some refried beans and Mexican rice, and it was barely seasoned and cold. The texture of the rice was dry and stale, and the beans were more like a paste than refried beans. The art on the walls, atmosphere, and workers were all very great. The decorations were pretty, it was very clean inside, and all the employees were nice. I really liked my interactions with the workers there, and they seemed friendly with not only me but with each other. I also got birria tacos. They were good but a little underseasoned, and the meat was kind of dry. The sauce that came with it was great and the cheese, onions, and cilantro complimented the other flavors well. I really was so excited and drove so far to get here only for it to be so bad it ruined my night. For such a high amount I had to spend, it really ruined our mood. We were so upset because we had such high hopes. We couldn't even really stomach eating the beans and rice.
Horrible Experience! Will never come back to this place! Seen it on instagram and wanted to try it and ordered the shrimp burrito with additional steak added! They didn’t give me shrimp or steak in my burrito which is ridiculous. How do you COMPLETELY forget the protein? Also asked for no pico and it’s filled with it. To make matters worse you can’t even get in contact with them because the number on the website is disconnected! Worst experience ever!
