One of the best restaurants anywhere. An every evolving menu that caters to a wide array of tastes. My favorite is the jumbo shrimp and scallops risotto. The crab cake appetizer is rich and one of the best I have ever had. If in the area make sure to make time to visit. Anthonys is worth the drive.. you will leave telling your friends and family about it.

My wife and I were touring the area for our 25th Anniversary, and we wanted a very nice place to dine. Anthony’s was the place that we chose, due to highest and best ratings while searching online. Reservations were required, which we made, and we were seated right away. This place is very quaint as it is an old farm house, and was beautifully decorated. The hostess filled our water glasses and brought us bread and butter which was very good. We were met by our waitress Ali, who was very sweet and very professional. My wife ordered the house salad ($7.95) and the Tournedos special ($43.95) which was two 4 oz filets, one with béarnaise sauce and one with demi-glace sauce, it came with broccoli, mashed potatoes and mashed sweet potatoes. She absolutely loved it and said it was prepared to perfection! I ordered the Caesar salad ($12.95) and Chicken Breast Parmesan with pasta ($23.95), it was delicious! We topped off the our dinner celebration with a slice of Chocolate Mousse Cake ($11.95) which was also delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and our waitress “Ali” was absolutely perfect!

I don’t give 5 stars on all very often but this place deserves it! Our server was Anthony (hard to forget since in the name of the restaurant) he was able to give us options on what wine pairs well with our dinner selection. He was there when needed and perfect etiquette when clearing the table or serving our wine. The atmosphere was quaint and we felt relaxed. Now for the food… what flavor!! We did not see the Chef but we did want to complement him on freshness of the food and original flavors to the area. We ordered an appetizer, dinner and dessert because we wanted to keep going!! We had duck egg roll to start with and it had a sauce with it that was lightly sweetened to balance the flavors. I can go on and on but honestly if you are looking for a gourmet meal close to home check this place out! For the quality of the food the price matched up. Hidden Gem, so glad we found this place we will be back!

Exquisite europeen style restaurant in Plattsburgh! An institution for many years, the place has remained a staple in the area for decades. Can't be beat. Staff are very professional, warm and cozy dining room Adirondack style, and last but not least the freshness of the ingredients and care in the plates are top notch. Venison loin in raspberry coulis sauce is a definite highlight. Hi Jeremy and Brenda!! Be back soon.

Absolutely fabulous! This is from far one of the best restaurant ever. I never had a bad meal every dish is so tasty and the service is impeccable. My favorite is the espresso martinis 🍸 and the bar tender is doing it to perfection. I had special request and they always accommodate. THE BEST RESTAURANT!!!!

Normally limit food choices nearby the hotels. But this one bring us a lots of sparkle joy . service ,atmosphere and food are all outstanding! Even my picky boys no complaints at all and they would gave 5 stars for the experience! Zack took good care of tonight. We would highly recommend this place

Usually the food choices around the highway hotels are chains or nasty Chinese/Italian places. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the number one restaurant in town was across the street from our hotel! We walked over and had a fantastic meal! All the food is made in-house (sausages, bread, dressings, and pasta) and fantastic. Not only do they make their own lobster bisque, they also make their own stock for all their soups. They also have a great wine list!

Came here for a team dinner, there were 8 of us total. The ambiance is quaint and cute. The Jade trees in the window are phenomenal. Bar couldn't make me a strawberry mojito, which is kind of odd for a more upscale place (this is my go to drink lol) We had to wait quite awhile for our drinks (20ish minutes) but the people who did order a cocktail were very pleased. I ordered a house salad as an appetizer, was not told that the olives were not pitted so I ended up hurting my tooth really badly on one of the pits. Ordered the filet for my dinner, you do not get to choose what sides you want. Figuring out what sides came with a dinner was like pulling teeth. When I asked the waitress she responded with "potatoes and vegetables"... I'm thinking, well that's pretty broad, what kind of vegetables? So apparently you get roasted carrots and green beans and a smashed potato ..No matter what you order (If it comes with sides). When my food came out all of it was cold, the steak, the vegetables, the sauce on top of the vegetables... Maybe just slightly above room temperature but definitely cold to the touch. The kitchen did fix this for me by heating everything up. From the time that we finished our dinner to the time that we were asked if we wanted to dessert was about 40 minutes. It was literally like we were just forgotten about, and there were not that many people in the restaurant so it was a little confusing while we were getting such little contact with our server. I ordered the tiramisu, unfortunately the lady fingers were completely dry, will post a picture. A good tyramisu should have the lady fingers quite soaked as this is what gives it most of the flavor. This was mostly like bread with pudding and cocoa powder. Unfortunately, the only really good thing that I experienced at this restaurant was the steak, and that was after it was heated up again. I'm not certain I would come back. For these prices, I just expect a little better.

We ordered 2 NY strips large size. Half of mine was fat & grizzle well maybe 25%. The vegetables like brocolli that accompanied it was unflavored and wasn’t cooked enough I know you want some snap but was just not cooked, mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes were tasteless. Desert was a berry pie that was mediocre and not worth the calories, but the cider donut ice cream was excellent! Service was really excellent and professional by Debra. I think with that much food being returned uneaten at the end of the meal at least the desert should have been on the house I assume that policy dictated by Restaurant owner. Tough business, my sympathies, but not good enough results on the plate.

Nice place. Bar was extremely expensive ($60 for a Blantons Old Fashion). Other than that, food was good, service outstanding and great atmosphere. Would definitely go again if in town.

Overall a decent experience for a Christmas dinner with colleagues. I suggest getting there early, if you are having a large social meal, as we felt pressured to leave at 8:00pm. I was still chewing my last piece of steak and the wait staff took my plate without asking. I also had half a glass of wine left. Early in the meal we were being paced and forced to listen to specials, only to find out they had run out of the special two of our guests wanted (Meatloaf Wellington). Escargot was good. Steak was nice and tender. Great atmosphere!!

Beautiful place, but fell short of expectations today. Went there for lunch without a reservation. We were seated immediately, but waited 10 minutes for a waitstaff to bring water. After we ordered, and it took 30 minutes to receive our order, 2 salads. The grilled tuna salad was delicious. However, the roast pork salad was not. The pork was very thinly sliced and so overcooked that it was impossible to cut. We waited 10 minutes for our check to be delivered to our table.
