What a gem! This place truly deserves a Michelin star—it’s incredible how much care goes into every detail. The food quality is outstanding, the service is top-notch, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. The drinks are fantastic, the portions are generous, and the lime cheesecake? OMG, it’s the creamiest and best I’ve ever had! We loved it so much that we went four times in a row. The sashimi roll with Ahi tuna was absolutely delicious and incredibly creative, while the shrimp fettuccine was equally delightful. Every dish we tried was exceptional. Even the atmosphere was perfect—they were playing Parcels, which added to the experience. Casa Maya has earned a special place in my heart. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for everything! !!

Food is delicious and service top notch. If they have a fresh caught fish from the day- order it without a second thought. Great spot for a date night or a relaxed night out.

The sports bar section had every channel, my favorite music and wine, and the perfect crew! My friend and I Ordered the famous Curricanes, Chicken Caesar, and the ribeye Bacon Cheese burger after dark and everything was delicious. $$$ friendliest place in Cerritos for a civilized meal. 5 stars all the way around.

Great food at atmosphere! We just watched the super bowl here and enjoyed watching them cook all the food in the open kitchen while we watched the game. First time I've enjoyed sushi and a burger in the same sitting!

Come for drinks stay for the homemade blueberry pie! Cozy dining next to a marvelous pool wonderful location, staff and food. We has the pork chops with coffee & Kailua sauce and the rib eye. Both were really excellent! Then we had the homemade blueberry pie which was even better! This restraint deserves a star or two!

Had two amazing meals here over the coarse of my stay. The rack of lamb was absolutely outstanding and good cooked to perfection. The second was after a day of deep sea fishing where chef Antonio cooked our catch, making delicious fish tacos! First time visiting Mexico and the food from here completely exceeded my expectations! Can’t wait to come back!

Menú bastante caro, el IVA lo ponen aparte (lo cual es ilegal en México). Y aún así una gran comida, sorprendido de haber comido tan bien, el sazón si está a la altura de restaurantes de ese precio. Valió la pena pese al precio.

Food was incredible, especially the Chilitos and the passionfruit hot sauce, pure 🔥 Prices are on the higher side, but that’s standard for this area and the quality backs it up. Service was attentive and on point. Only downside: the seating. The chairs sit too low relative to the table and it’s just not comfortable. Fix that and this place becomes a no-brainer.

Food is fantastic. Tony is an amazing chef and it's top notch. Happy hour 3 to 6 is great too. Comfortable, intimate... One of my favorite places to go with my friends. The only complaint is last time we went they didn't have menus and they wanted us to scan a bar code with our phone... well wanting to be sociable and talk we did not bring phones lol. The staff was very helpful about it and we looked at the choices on her phone. But I am personally not ready to give up traditional menus. Maybe a chalk board or something? But the phone won't cut it. Like I said this is a top notch place, dont worry they'll figure it out. Well worth a visit.

We were looking forward to trying Casa Maya based on their good reviews. Being off season, we were the only party there. The old 80s music was really loud (we couldn’t have a conversation at our table) but when we politely asked the waiter to please turn down the music a bit (we were the only customers) he actually wouldn’t do it, in fact it became louder. Then our order never came, so I guess they decided to make us wait a looong time. Finally we left. What a very disappointing evening, but nearby Barracuda worked out well.

I just got a burger to-go here, and basically nothing about it went well. I went there to pick it up and stood at the front of the restaurant awkwardly for ages, watching waitresses pass by me a bunch of times without saying a word. After a while I just went to the back and asked the cooks for my order myself... The food itself was a big miss too. Fries tasted soggy, old, and cold (and I ate them right away). I asked for medium rare and got well done+. No mayo or ketchup on the bun or on the side. Should have taken a bite while I was still there, not much you can do about it once back at home.

We live here and don't frequent the place very often because it's mostly high-end kind of tourist prices. However, most people like the food. So tonight we went and ordered two margaritas and ordered a big sushi platter and a couple other things. After about 15-20 minutes of sitting there, the waiter came over and told us that each one of the sushi items would be 200 pesos more because they were using different fish. I am 55 years old and never in the history of me ordering at a restaurant did they come over and renegotiate the price of the menu items. We left out of spite and ethics. Also, just so you know their menu is a QR code so it's digital and could've been changed I guess. But that's besides the point.

No no no, stay far away from this place. We came here and stayed in the condos at this location to enjoy some time away from America and its Expensive way of life only to get basically robbed by the bartender for 2 Premium Margaritas 🍹that I was charged 500 Pesos for when the menu says 200 for Premium drinks. But here is the kicker I purposely spoke English to see how I'd be treated thou I don't speak it fluently I do understand Spanish. The other guy tells the one guy charge him 500 pesos. I almost said something but waited for my bill and sure enough it was 500 pesos. I don't even pay $15 for a drink back home. As much as we love the area this will be the ONLY time we ever spend $$$ at this restaurant. Granted you might have wealthy people staying here but not everyone just throws money your way for this exact reason. We've traveled to many places in Mexico and get great service from some little small businesses that treat as the same as the locals and this is how you earn a nice tip from us as its our way of saying "gracious". Hence why I didn't tip them of course and why we will keep looking for that perfect spot to retire as well as enjoy local hospitality. Nice to have a place close to where your staying, but not when you think you can charge more becuase I speak English and didn't use any Spanish. It's so PROFECO.
