Ordered the fried fish and it was absolutely delicious. Coco lemonade however was pretty weird because they use coconut milk instead of coconut water. The staff were great too. Would return!

I love this hidden street in Playa that’s full of restaurants. After a week here, I wanted to try something different from just Mexican or Argentinian food, and this place was perfect! Great location, nice menu, and the dishes were exactly what I expected — well presented and full of authentic Thai flavors. I came during happy hour, so I totally enjoyed the 2-for-1 drinks.

This restaurant offers an excellent dining experience. The main courses were truly outstanding and delicious; we had the Chicken Pad See Ew and the Vegetable Pad Thai, both of which were perfectly executed. The service was also very kind and attentive. My only small point of feedback is regarding the Papaya Salad (Som Tum). While good, the cut of the ingredients was too coarse compared to the authentic Thai preparation, and it was missing key elements like the green beans, which kept it from being a truly authentic Thai Som Tum. Despite this minor point, the overall quality of the main dishes and the service earns this restaurant a perfect 5-star rating. Thank you!

Decent place, not the best thai restaurant, but it works. We ordered Pad Thai and several woks. The food was super tasty, especially with chicken. The wok is like the sweet and sour with more flavor. I was bit that was worried but it met my expectations.

Nice surprise to find an authentic Thai place in Playa del Carmen. Had the classic Chicken Pad Thai Noodles, they were delicious. My friend had some curry and liked it. The Tom Kha soup was also very good and tasty. Had the Sticky Rice for dessert and it was pleasantly sweet, not overdone. They also serve you complimentary vegetarian rolls. Quick and courteous service.

Comida Thai bastante aceptable; pedimos todo al centro para compartir; Pad Thai nuestro favorito con cerdo y llegamos bien a los postres; sólo nos faltó la opción fe cafe descafeinado, pero que acepten mascotas y que no hay música siempre lo agradezco

El lugar solo cuenta con mesas en el exterior, todas tienen sombrilla pero cuando el sol se recorre te puede pegar, los alimentos están servidos en buenas porciones y el sabor de los alimentos es bueno, de bebidas me agrado que tienen gran variedad, entre ellas aguas de sabor naturales, creo que es una buena opción para comer.

Muy Linda la ambientación del lugar ideal para ir a comer solo o acompañado conversar desconectarse un poco de la bulla y del agetreo de playa del carmen.. La comida es super buena comimos unos aperitivos variados son excelentes.. Y comimos curry con vegetales piña y leche de coco con Pato.. Les confieso q el plato engaña para ser pequeño pero cuando comes te das cuenta q es sufíciente.. La atención es buena no es excelente podrían mejorar pero esta bien..

La comida muy rica. Solo que cuando estabamos comiendo (ya llevabamos la mitad) se acercó un señor que se veia muy amable y nos dice que la comida esta muy picante y que si no queriamos poquito arroz blanco (como cuando te ofrecen totopos o tortillas) y dijimos que si y nos trajeron una tazita pequeña con arroz. Cuando llega la cuenta nos dimos cuenta que no era complementario, no pasa nada eran solo 70 pesos, pero la accion siento que esta mal. Le dijimos a la mesera, y me dijo… mmm que pena… gustarias agregar propina? La vdd no me encanto el servicio. Pero bueno, la comida si estaba rica. Como feedback, pueden decir algo asi como: gustan agregar un extra de arroz a su orden? O algo as, se evitan malentendidos :)

Tonight we went down thirty eight and had our meal at Mae Thai. We shared the kai satee which is chicken skewers, the peanunt sauce was delicious. I thought the meat was a bit chewy. My husband had the Pad Thai noodle dish with pork. I liked it but not the pork, (I am a picky meat eater though) he liked the pork. I found a new comfort food which I will always come back for again and again in the curry Masaman with the rice, served on the side. It was so flavorful with just the right amount of heat. Post update October 2023: they didn’t have entree rolls this time either. The prices have gone up since the first time I went, and the last time I was there. The food can get wet if it rains. The umbrellas don’t prevent the food from getting wet if it rains, since they are made from fabric and now you can’t sit inside. This time I got a green curry. It was very good. It’s my favorite. —————————————————————- Their vegan options are good 🌱 Portions are also good. I particularly like the green and yellow currys with tofu. They come with plain white rice on the side, and cost around $230 MXN each. The Vegan Pad Thai lacked some flavor when I tried it. Beverages are somewhat expensive in my opinion. The last time I was there I didn’t get any courtesy veggie rolls because I got there at 10 pm and they say they stop serving them at 9:30 pm. Also, some customers were smoking marihuana beside me, and being very loud. They seemed drunk too. The waiter said he couldn’t do anything about it. It was very uncomfortable. If it seems like it’ll rain, make sure to sit inside because the umbrellas on top of the tables get wet, and eventually water starts leaking over your food. This is a place to go if you enjoy eating spicy food. Their spicy sauces are good.

La comida estuvo espectacular, tiempo de espera muy breve y sabor excelente. El lugar no tenía música fuerte, por lo que es posible conversar sin tener que alzar la voz o gritar. Único detalle; el personal. Yo no sé si todos estaban teniendo un mal día o qué pero no eran muy amables que digamos, era como si estaban ahí muy a pesar suyo. También trabajo atendiendo clientes y a pesar de todo, siempre trato de dar el mejor trato posible para ofrecer una experiencia positiva y crear ambiente ameno, y nada, espero lo mismo también de personas que trabajen en este ámbito; más todavía si después piden propina. Los precios me parecen justos y las porciones generosas.

Pad Thai y Pad Si Lu muy rico. Lamentablemente la porcion del pad thai es demasiado pequeña para el precio, quedé con hambre. Limonada ASQUEROSA, parecia agua de poso con limon.

Solo entrar la vibra es muy mala, nadie te atiende al llegar hasta minutos pasados que te sientas, la comida está bien servida y los precios razonables, el servicio es bastante malo, pides específicamente que te lleven la comida en dos tiempos y te llevan todo al mismo tiempo, después se desaparecen y tienes que buscarlos para que te atiendan, pésima experiencia con la atención

Para empezar, el lugar estaba todo sucio, manchas de grasa en la vidriera que se ve para la cocina muy poco agradable. Pedí un pad thai de pollo y los fideos son como spaghetti super finos,el pollo parece solo hervido y del que venden en el super que es inyectado estaba super dulce del tamarindo y solo tenia sal el pollo, la mesera creyó que no le había pagado hasta que revisó todas sus cuentas,pasaron 15min de haberme dado mi comida para darme mi cambio. Cuando pedí el ticket la persona que cocinaba que también cobraba de una forma que no está buena se puso a decir groserías como que se habían molestado solo por pedir mi ticket y no está nada barato y encima te cobran el compostable para llevar. No recomiendo para nada este lugar.

El servicio es muy muy muy malo. Te tratan como si fueras una molestia. Te echan del lugar incluso antes de la hora de cierre y me pasó que levantaron todas la mesas mientras estábamos comiendo, tipo para cerrar. Fui dos veces y jamás volveré. Y me encargo de ue nadie q yo conozca vaya ahi

Thai food generally sucks in Playa, including this place, where all of the dishes are about four times sweeter than they should be. Maybe this is the Mexican version of Thai food, add buckets of sugar…

the food and drinks were genuinely terrible. ordered the tofu “pad si iu” and mojito per the server’s recommendation, ended up with food poisoning. this was easily the worst meal i’ve ever had in playa. wasn’t expecting gourmet thai food by any means, but the place was busy so we figured we’d try it out. quickly realized it was a tourist trap. will never eat here again, would not recommend. *the 1 star is not at all reflective of the staff, they were very kind.

We ordered a pinaple chicken rise dish and got 10 grams of chicken in a small bowl. The pad thai wasnt fresh and had 3 prawns and the price was quite high comperable to other places. It seems there isnt much of an attention to detail or passion in the delivery of the food. If you charge high prices at least include enough protein to justify it or at least feed your guest. You should not be serving chicken dishes with no chicken its just wrong.

We are extremely disappointed and highly dissatisfied with the service we received at this restaurant. The Argenentinian waitress who served us was, frankly, very unkind, extremely arrogant, rude, and very prepotent. ​The way she treated us was completely unacceptable and made us feel very uncomfortable throughout the entire visit. It seems this person has no respect for the customers. Such a negative attitude completely ruined our experience. It is regrettable that an establishment allows its staff to treat diners so poorly. We hope action will be taken, as the service we received was terrible.
