I came once and there was a 1 hour wait for food. Next time I passed by early and was able to get a table. 2 for 1 special is definitely worth it. I hate sushi, but this is not so traditional- more Americanized and was pretty tasty. Service staff is very friendly.

Good, not great, sushi. Saying that it is one of my favourite sushi places in playa. They offer a varied and pretty decent menu including various rice dishes and soups as well as rolls. Definitely worth checking when they have their 2x1 roll days as it is a great offer!

I was looking for a sushi place to try and picked this place based on the reviews. After trying the place out I can definitely affirm the reviews are too high for quality stand. The service lacks on attention to the customer, there was just another couple at the restaurant and my family and the servers did not check on us, not even once. I would have order another drink as the food was taking a bit but as no one checked on me i didnt even bother trying to find a server, keep in mind restaurant was empty. Food isn’t anything special, it looks decent on picture but it’s pretty much a grocery store quality level sushi. I would look for a different place or just skip sushi in Playa as it seems hard to find a decent place.

The food here is affordable and good, but the service is not great. They took forever to make our food and there was no one around. Another time I called to place an order (they said it would be ready in 20 minutes) and I when I got there my food wasn’t even ready. I had to wait for another 15 minutes and again there was no one else before me. The people who work there are either lazy or very slow. Anyways, only recommend if you don’t mind waiting.

I loved Sōma Urbain Shushi Bar as well as Sushi Roll in Calle Corazone, on the 5th ave. After trying Coliforia - green and vegan an shopping at DAC fruits and vegetables market, I was lookink forward to this inviting sushi place where I lived. I sat down to look at the menu on the high chairs near the chef...when I decided on my selection, staff look at me at continue talking between themselves...after a second buenos tardes, same answer...I left...same as my bad experience at 7/11 in front of ADO bus terminal on the 5th ave. I feel sorry for the staff at both locations, it may be color / race / experience related, I will never know.

I would NOT go back. Here are my reasons. 1. They charged me for an entree I already said I didn’t want. 2. They recommended a lot of items with cheese, I told them I’m lactose and can’t have anything with cheese, I order something on the menu that doesn’t have cheese. Please tell me why the sushi I got had cheese in it ? 3. The item that was include in my bill that I didn’t want had cheese in it as well. 4. They never told me how much my bill was just handed me the machine, after I paid I noticed the price was WAY higher than it should have been. - by the time I realized the complete order was wrong I was too far from the location to go back. I’ll never return and I hope this is a warning sign to other tourists.

Awful service. They forgot to prepare our order and when we asked how long it was gonna take (50min later), they didn’t even know what we were talking about. Don’t waste your time 👎🏻 BUT they seemed to have a lot of fun in the kitchen, too bad they forgot about their customers.

Could be the worst sushi you ever have. It is at US supermarket level quality level. The biggest thing for me was that the fish in both rolls was warm. It made me sick to even have it in my mouth. Also I think they some sort of vinegar with sugar for the fish, so it was a bit sweet. I don't like sweet.

Sorry but I'm a sushi addict and I have befriended some of the most professional Sushi chefs in the best restaurants all over the United States. This place even though it has great reviews it was not up to par. Just to be brief imagine the salmon instead of shiny Orange was light dull beige and the tuna instead of bright red it was grayish red. Both fish may be good for cooking but definitely not fresh for sushi. Just saying!
