The molcajete was so good! The different meats, the seafood, the cactus, the cheese, the sauce...!!! It was also my first time trying flour tortilla with a smear of butter and it was so delicious!! The restaurant is very spacious too~ I'll never forget my molcajete experience at this place 😍

Lots of good variety of mexican food to choose from tacos,sopes,various gisados,chilaquiles and much more and hand made tortillas is a plus.Areas available inside and a outter section with music and we got to experience live mariachi.Definitely would come back again

I’m still full from all the delicious food! So many great choices. You won’t be disappointed! I’m he price was great for the quality of food. The building had a cool old church vibe and it was really a great meal. I will definitely be returning to this place!

I had nigiris and sushi rolls. I specially recommend the rolls the portions were quite big and the rolls were really well made. We also ordered some sake (they only had semi unfiltered sake though) one craft beer and a Sapporo beer. We sat inside. The music volume was just right and the music selection was great (didn’t recognized anything but it created a nice atmosphere). The only sad part is that they didn’t had sea urchin :(

I’ve been eating all around TJ and this is the best place I have been too for breakfast so far. It beats breakfast places in Ensenada. There’s a lot of variety, we came to eat breakfast here every day for 3 days and each day there was new different things to select from. The cooks will make you almost anything if it isn’t already in the serving trays. The whole establishment including the restrooms are really clean and gives off an old Mexico type of vibe.

The staff is very friendly, the prices are a little bit high about 16 dlls per person for the buffet. The FOOD has a variety of mexican food and sea food. We really like that there are cooks available to cook carne asada, quesadillas, omelets and and other foods. The taste is good, the selection of pastries is good. I would say for a buffet this is a good place. The drinks are not included. Only coffee and hot tea is provided wirh the price. Pay extra for soft drinks. Lots of seating.

The food here is pretty good. Compared to how it used to be years ago, the variety of foods has severely diminished while the price hasn't. If you come for breakfast during the week (8am-10:59am), it is cheaper. The establishment is clean and service is good. What I did not enjoy about this place is how hot it gets and they do not have air conditioning or fans.

Muy buena la comida, el trato es excelente, sin embargo: Tardan mucho en entregarte la comida (en mi caso fue más de una hora y solo eramos 2 mesas ocupadas), la iluminación en el primer piso es malisima (tienes que usar la linterna del teléfono para poder leer el menu), lo más peligroso es para subir al 2do piso, en las escaleras no hay nada de luz y no se ve por donde pisas. Y los "sientos" de la planta baja es de lo más incómodo, no puedes recargar la espalda al menos de que (casi casi) te acuestes para recargar la espalda en el respaldo. Es rica la comida y los empleados muy amables, pero no dan ganas de ir la verdad, muy incómodo...

¿La comida y bebida? Deliciosa ¿El lugar? Hermoso ¿El personal? Amable y agradable El único problema (y vaya que es un problema serio), es la cantidad enorme e impresionante de moscas que rondan tanto por fuera como dentro del restaurante. Mi reseña es más que nada una crítica constructiva para que tomen cartas sobre el asunto; ya que, al operar así, los comensales tienen riesgo de transmisión de bacterias y/o heces fecales de moscas, y (en el peor de los casos), una intoxicación de comida. Espero le den la debida seriedad y prioridad al asunto y puedan mejorarlo, pueden conseguir raquetas eléctricas para moscas y que su personal se dedique a eliminarlas. Es muy molesto comer espantando las moscas y preocuparse de que se hayan parado en algún momento.

I have been going to Ortegas for 40 years since I was a child. This visit was the worst. They changed the interior from a beautiful rustic design to a cheap diner table and chairs. The cook at the buffet was totally out of it obviously on drugs and very rude. Or waitress was nice but very slow. The walking trio for music was very good and were the only high point to our dining experience. I am very disappointed. This has always been a place our family visits whenever we go to Rosarito.

A pesar de que estaba casi vacío el lugar, esperamos 40 min. por un rollo y un temaki que nunca llegó, hasta preguntar por nuestro pedido nos mencionaron no había cocineros suficientes, eso nos lo debieron haber comentado desde el principio, eramos por lo menos 3 parejas con la misma queja. Al final cancelamos el pedido por que nos mencionó el mesero que faltaban 10 minutos para que apenas COMENZARA nuestra orden.

The seafood platter was okay not great but the service was horrible, the waits are too long when you are told otherwise and they don't take credit cards on purpose so they can pay the dollar less then what you can actually get through your bank. I don't pay foreign fees with my costco credit card so I prefer paying with my cc.

Absolutely horrible experience! This is the Turkey dinner they said they had! First it was cold. So the heated it up. Had gizzards and bones in it. Then no thanksgiving sides stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy. No pumpkin pie. Nothing. So let’s take the holiday meal out of it! Everything looked stale and old. Nothing fresh. The cooks were too occupied to serve you. And doing there own thing. The only star was the waiter. He did everything to try and make it better. He re heated the turkey, and tried to make things better but at that point it’s a lost cause! He had very good customer service! I should have walked in to see first before eating. And to top it off, the power went out while we were eating!
