Fresh sashimi! Service with a smile, center of town , right off the train station. Doesn't rush you, Nice friendly people.
Always a great time when I come here. Food is excellent service is quick and friendly. Staff is polite and welcoming.
The food is superb. Always fresh. The servers are very nice. I highly recommend this restaurant.
One of my favorite place to go eat! I mostly get Udon house special, it's delicious!
Great service. Perfect presentation. High quality fish and ingredients. Great lighting and decor. Semi-private booths available. High energy atmosphere yet still easy to hear and engage in conversation.
my favorite sushi place! i have tried several sushi places across westchester. i’m beyond obsessed w sushi. this place ALWAYS is a hit. delicious lunch specials. i love the general tsos chicken. the meat is always delicious & the sauce really helps flavor everything. great atmosphere, good service & delicious food every time
I order from here all the time. the food is great. the service is efficient, quick, and to the point. some consider this "rude" but i think that you should know what you want when they take your order, with no "ummm" and "hmmmm" wasting their time. the ambiance is nice, modern, hip, and stylish. every meal i have sampled was delicious and felt authentic and home made. no frozen crap like we see in so many of these places. over all, a classic place to visit and my favorite restaurant!
Great restaurant food was well prepared no issues there. Service was good waiter catered to all our needs. Answered all our questions in regards to the menu. Nice well layed out resturant. Will be back again.
Had an excellent dinner at Miyabi last weekend. We came as a group of 5 and were seated in one of their pod areas, if you will. It felt expansive but cozy, which was really nice. We shared appetizers like edamame, chicken lettuce wraps, and ribs. Each was delicious (the ribs came as little pieces with a side of incredibly sweet sweet potato). Our individual meals all got rave reviews. I split four rolls of sushi with another person and thought each one was large, fresh, and well done. There were also creative rolls, like avocado and peanut. Many bites left me mming. The service was prompt and fun, and when we stayed a long time to just sit and chat no one bothered us. The sake was... okay. Miyabi is a bit on the expensive side, but for a nice dinner out it's well worth it.
Always a great place to go, especially before a film at Jacob Burns. They are super sensitive to time restraints. Highly recommend.
Food was so well presented and delicious. The server definitely got his 20%. Second day on job and he was very attentive d courteous without the excessive hovering.
Great food at reasonable prices. My kids love everything on the menu as well
Consistently good sushi and great cocktails. It's also good for groups and kids. They offer a menu that has something for everyone.
Love the rolls and presentation. Service was great.

Had a work dinner here. I ordered the equivalent of a Bento box and it was all very good. Miso soup was very nice and for such a large table the service was good.
Great little restaurant! Service was excellent and attentive. Food tasted especially fresh, and there were plenty of options even for vegetarian folk. Would certainly come back!
Great place. A million choices, reaching from delicious Thai (love the Thai Curry soup) or Chinese soups to amazing Cold Noodles to fantastic sushi choices. My fave main is the Crispy (red snapper) fish, which has an amazing soy sweet sauce replete with bok choy, crispy noodles, and scallions. Tons of other choices. Wait staff is great. We are repeat customers many times over. A regular spot for us...
Awesome Steve is an amazing waiter!
Lovely place. Staff was attentive, the food was good not over the top but very good. Throughly enjoyed our experience. Will be back.
Amazing authentic Japanese food for terrifically low prices (especially w their lunch specials), go before 4:30 on weekdays if you want less people dining around you. They carry Thai and Chinese dishes as well, all insanely delicious and true to the cultural recipes. Will eat again next time I'm in Pleasantville!

Decent place for sushi and Japanese cuisine. Helpful wait staff. Good appetizers. Nice atmosphere. Worth checking out if you're in Pleasantville and want some of this type of cuisine.
Went here for lunch with co workers and I would come back! The lunch menu is super affordable and there are plenty of options. The food is yummy and well seasoned. I was able to get sushi and a bento box for about 16. The service was also quick, we were in and out within an hour. I have heard that the delivery is also quick! Pictured here is teriyaki salmon and wonton soup.
Very expensive and small portions but the food is so good
Reasonable quality sushi, although a bit on the small side. It was a little concerning that the server didn't know what I was asking for when I ordered Inari, and didn't seem to know it was on the menu. Decent vegetarian options.
Great sushi restaurant in the heart of Pleasantville. The sushi rolls are delicious but the other dishes are not to be missed. Plenty of seating inside with funky vibes. My favorite roll is the amazing tuna roll. The veggie hot & sour soup is really great too!

Food was good. Service was good. Atmosphere was very good. Sodas and seltzer should be free refills.
So far this is the best Sushi in the area. I have yet to dine-in, have only done takeout. When ordering it's always been ready within 20-30 mins which I think is good for timing for takeout. The food is very good. Everything I have gotten is top-notch.

It's not a bad place. Atmosphere is nice. Price was reasonable. Appetizer and entrees were very mediocre.
Good food, and cool, fancy-slick looking room... but... we had a pretty strange experience. We went in the late afternoon, off peak hours to be sure, but still... There were only a couple of other customers, and the lights were turned off in half the restaurant. Several staff members were sleeping in the booths, just laying on the booth benches and sleeping! Truly strange and not very professional. Definitely too away from our experience. There are better sushi places around, and I wouldn't go back after that experience.
The food was good fresh and tasty. The options were small especially compared to some of the other area places. The biggest let down was the service. Very pushy not at all observant needed to ask for ice water twice from 2 different people. Some aspects of the menu are misleading.
I didn’t know that sushi could be so bland. My husband and I came here for date night, and it was. Seeing the menu, the sushi lists had a surprising number of deep fried options (and even a chicken roll?) we shrugged and ordered a total of four rolls — paradise (specialty roll) , Snow White (specialty roll), a Tokyo roll and spicy tuna crunch. The most flavorful of them was the paradise, which may have been because of the deep fried banana in the roll. The spicy tuna crunch, did not crunch nor was spicy, which made us sad. We got a bottle of cold sake — that was good. And it had a large cocktail list, with most around us having drinks rather than food. The service was attentive , though the decor felt.. a bit like a cruise ship that had seen better days. Clean, just a little run down. Also, no music? But loud with conversation. Again, the sake was good, and I think this is a good spot for cocktails. If you are going to get sushi , stick to the specialty rolls.
We had the Gyoza to start. They were good. I really enjoy the sauce they came with. I ordered the general chicken. And my husband ordered the orange chicken. Both of them were very sweet. Both dishes tasted like honey. It was nice you got to pick white or brown rice. They both were good. We also got a volcano roll and that was delicious!!!!! I really enjoyed that. They also have Sappora beer in bottles. Our waiter was quick and attentive. Great location. The restaurant was decorated very well.

Unimpressive with food, degrading in quality. I recently went for lunch and it was the kind of experience where I was smelling the sushi to confirm if edible. I'm not sure of the hot food and if that's a better choice. But for sushi, I will not be returning to this place based on my experience today. An addition of the standard sushi rolls for lunch, We tried the poke bowl special. For a lunch $25 price, they served up mashed up tuna versus typical pokey chunks. There are several other locations in nearby towns that are safer bets.
If this review was based purely on the food, I'd give it 4.5 stars. The wait staff who served us were very rude. We came in on a quiet Sunday night for dinner. The waitress came to take our order within 2 minutes of us sitting down so clearly we weren't ready yet. About 5 minutes later she came back and we informed her we were still not ready at which point she visibly rolled her eyes at us. After the meal, we stayed at our table talking for some time and the wait staff continued to hover right next to the table clearly indicating they wanted us to leave so they could clear the table. It's too bad. Food was very good, staff was quite unprofessional. I probably won't return.

The person who took my phone order was extremely rude. He hung up before the order was even complete. Apparently good customer service does not seem to be a priority to them.
The reason I leave this review is because of the way the delivery person treated me, not once but twice. I have ordered from Miyabi and had a nice experience. This time I met an awful asian man who banged loudly on my door, rang my doorbell 18+ times. I explicitly said “please go to my front door” and he went to my side door. I spent a minute trying to find him by going to my back yard and front yard. When I did finally encounter the man he was rude and shoved my food towards me, but not before saying “God!” like somehow this was my fault. I unfortunately tipped this man as I paid digitally. I’m very disappointed, even though the food was good, the delivery man ruined my experience.
Got here at 11:45 on a Wednesday. Opens at 11:30. Guy tells us to wait outside in 515 degree until done mopping which is about noon. Temperature during lunch is around 50 degrees and whole restaurant smells like bleach/ swimming pool. Food was pretty ordinary. Got 3 roll lunch special for $12. Wife got black bean tofu. I woukd come here again in warmer weather later in day. Parking is also difficult
We fo here quite often. I ordwres the lenongrass sheimp. Ir used ro be served with a little bit of Angel hair. It came to the table Wirh a huge amount of fettucini type noodles Cold. When i questioned it the waitress said it comes like this now and y ok u have to,request it to come like it dumid originally Why would I kbow to request that????, The waitress really needs a course in,waiting tables. I wont be back akot of money for four shrimp and an attitude.
Nice ambiance. Ok service, food was Ok, cocktails are Ok too. Nothing special. Some plates came out dirty Parking was very challenging.

I live in area. Have been to this restaurant many times even for takeout. Went for lunch yesterday and still can’t believe what happened. We were eating and chatting then heard very loud snoring. One of the cooks or waiters literally fell asleep in a booth and was snoring so intensely that even the table next to me heard it. Secondly, one of the workers had such a bad cold. He was sucking in snot while we ate. I didn’t even touch my meal. Took it home and threw it out. The waiter was a nice young man-I think he was embarrassed too. I also saw the sushi maker sneeze over the area and he had no mask. Needless to say, I won’t be back.
I had a disappointing lunch. First, the restaurant was uncomfortably cold. Second, the tea and the miso soup were both watery and relatively tasteless, which is never a good sign. Third, when my sushi lunch arrived, the quality was okay but the quantity was pitiful. The pieces of sushi were unusually narrow, which I'm sure saved the restaurant money on fish but meant that it didn't feel like a full lunch. I will not return.

Awful!!! Overpriced. Horrible service. They will lie to you left and right until you wait almost 2 hours for delivery. 100% of the time there is something missing or wrong with the order.
The workers were very rude. We had returned a few plates of rice because we did not like it but that wasn’t the issue. After the waiter brought the plates back all the workers gathered behind our table and started staring and talking amongst themselves. As we were leaving we said thank you and have a good night and they looked at us and said nothing back. They were all already putting their jackets on and getting ready to leave but the restaurant is not supposed to close until 11pm.
I am a fan of Japanese cuisine and found the food here terribly bland. One other reviewer mentioned the chicken satay appetizer and how tasteless it was - I totally agree. The sushi combo was similar and all the pieces tasted the same. Very below par. The temperature of the restaurant was also cold.
Worst experience ever! I placed an order for pick up and it CLEARLY states pick up time between 11:30-11:45 and was confirmed. I get to the restaurant and first, no one even approaches me or greets me. They start arguing with me because they “just opened”.. meanwhile the website says available for pick up at 11:30. Oh and I needed the food by this time because i had a meeting at 12 which of course I was late for. The kicker is that i agreed to come back in 30 minutes like they told me and my order STILL was not ready!! AND people who ordered after me, their food came out before mine. Horrible customer experience I will not be coming back.
Poor service. Food came at different times, 10 minutes apart from 1st to last. Spicy Tuna was not spicy at all, it was bland. Wok chicken w/ garlic was tasteless and soggy. Overall rating: MEH
It wasn't until after I finished eating that I saw the man who made my sushi picking his nose. I mean, he was really deep in there. I didn't really get an apology and the waiter didn't seem surprised when I told him.
Bland pad thai with questionable chicken that had a shimpy texture. I had to eat around the meat it was too gross. And the waitress was very cold even though were were the only customers at the time.
Sat for almost 15min at an empty bar. Nor the host or a bartender if there was one came over with a menu or water. When i walked out i asked the host if by anychance she let someone know that she sat me. Her response was “no, he usually makes his way over” terrible on her part for not checking to see i was noticed and the man who walked across the bar twice getting water one of those times not asking me if i was taken care of or not.
This was our 1st time ordering from here and certainly the LAST TIME!!! Food was OK nothing I would rant about! My husband had a nasty hair wrapped around his broccoli🤮and he spitted his mouth of food with total disgust!!! Pretty pathethic after spending over $60 on your food!!! Be cautious people unless you like eating some hair!!!! You should do the right thing and fully refund my money back !!
