Kaleidoscope Coffee has a really nice, relaxed vibe. I tried the flat mocha and the Nutella toast, both were solid and comforting. A lot of people were working on laptops, which made it feel like a great place to hang out or get some work done. I also happened to catch a stand-up open mic while I was there, which was a fun surprise and added to the atmosphere. Overall, a chill spot with good energy.
Lovely atmosphere . Plenty of seating options indoors as well as outdoors. Staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. Lots of people flowing in and out of the cafe throughout the day. We usually order beverages but there is a good selection of sweets and light sandwiches to go. Also vegetarian choices available. A place for everyone even kid friendly. It's a must-visit spot that will make you want to come back again and again.
Great experience here! Got a latte with the Spring syrup - lavender and some other fruit syrup. I also got a black sesame mochi muffin, super delicious. They have a cool patio space and board games too
Nice place to grab your morning beverage - good coffee - lots of space to chill and hangout - good vibes in Pt. Richmond
Might be the best cafe in Richmond, or Pt Richmond at least! Plenty of indoor seating and it stays open till 7PM everyday which is rare if you need a space to study or read. It get’s busy on weekends, so plan accordingly if you need to charge your devices. I’ve gotten the matcha and regular latte thus far, and both have been more than satisfactory. Safe to say I’ll be coming every week!
Love the melody vive, with a conform seating area, super friendly staff very attentive with a possite attitude, great taste on my cold coffee with different types of milk varieties, creamer, sugars and a warm selection of pastries, cold sandwiches and warm chocolate for the kids in all of us ,price was just right for my family of 5
The drinks are delicious with a nice slab of even has a nice outdoor patio. They have night time events; haven't attended any yet but excited to be back. The have a decent food selection too along with teas and alcohol. Yes you heard me, winds and beers :)
Great Place. Coffee is in the category of lighter more fruity roast. This cafe is so thoughtfully designed. Very comfortable to sit and work. Good wifi, clean eady access bathroom....and BEST OF ALL, open to 7PM. Also has a nice back patio. Thursday evenings are open mic. We came across this cafe by chance nd we were all psyched 💪
First time here and was impressed by the wonderful service, delicious coffee cake, and yummy mocha. Lindy helped me out - she was super friendly and recommended the coffee cake, which was AMAZING - dense, rich, perfect amount of cinnamon. I bet it would have been great heated up. I really enjoyed the mocha as it was not sweet - nice, velvety dark chocolate. I was not here long enough to sit down and hang out but felt like a place I could do some computer work at or read a book. Also appreciated that they had separate receptacles for compost, landfill, and recycle ♻️ Thanks for the wonderful experience 😀
Nice and quiet place. The ambience was good. You have multiple options for seating. I went in the afternoon on a Saturday and it was a bit hot so did not sit outside on the patio. But on a cool day the patio seating should be nice. There were some books to read if you aren't working or with somebody to talk to. I ordered the Gibraltar which came in a small glass and tasted really nice. I also got a PB&J sandwich and an apple fold. Lastly I took a Mocha to-go which was also good. They have multiple milk options. They also have some coffee beans if you would like purchase. Reasonable prices. You can find parking on nearby streets. Definitely would visit again if I happen to be in that area.

Super duper cute Cafe. Health conscious options. Outside patio with nature, cute comfy furniture, local art displayed around shop, personalized experience with batista, lots of light and mellow atmosphere. Printer available for customer use. Open 7am to 7pm. Absolutely adorable, will definitely be back!
Lovely coffee shop in Point Richmond that offers a wide range of drinks and snacks at reasonable prices. The interior is quiet cute with lots of seats, some couches and even a small second-hand book shelf. Additional seatings at the front and in the back patio. I stopped by after running across the bridge to refuel: a PB&J and a chocolate cookie, yummy! Service was friendly and the overall vibe was relaxing. Highly recommended to folks after the long hike/run/ride through the bridge.
We stopped by Kaleidoscope Coffee while visiting Point Richmond, and it was the perfect find. The Vietnamese coffee was excellent, the space felt warm and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely kind. Such a great spot to relax and enjoy the neighborhood vibe—definitely a must-visit when you’re in the area ☕✨
Pulled off the freeway because I saw there was a coffee shop on my way to my destination. Port Richmond is adorable, so cute and artsy. This shop is a great addition to the welcoming vibes of this super cute little neighborhood. I got an iced matcha latte and it was very good. Really enjoyed finding this great shop in this fantastic little artsy neighborhood!
Lovely large cafe with huge back patio. A great place to go after a swim at the Richmond Plunge or a bike ride on the SF Trail. Wonderful warm drinks selection including their own unique version of golden milk, and this not too sweet oat milk mocha with orange cardamom syrup. Service was very very slow hence the 3 stars. Expect to spend around $25 for two beverages and two muffins, before tip.
Decent place. They have stand up comedy showd too. Good place to chill relax and have a good coffee.
Kicked it at Kaleidoscope Coffee in Point Richmond! It's not your typical coffee shop – during the day, it's a cozy spot for coffee and ice cream, and at night, it turns into a lively hangout with performances. Their menu is full of local goodies like Tara's Organic Ice Cream and Wrecking Ball Coffee. I tried their unique creations like beet hummus and indulged in Revolution Muffins and Bakin’ Vegan pastries – all delicious! The atmosphere is buzzing with energy and community spirit. Kaleidoscope Coffee is definitely a must-visit if you're in the area!

Kaleidoscope has a great atmosphere and I love their coffee and food. Bonuses are that they have a rewards program and allow dogs. Despite this, they earned three stars because the coffee and food is completely overpriced and the service is slow. I paid $20 for a regular-sized iced mocha and winter toast (a slice of sourdough bread with goat cheese, red peppers, and capers). The $20 was without the tip, which means I paid more than $20 with the tip included. It took 15 minutes for the toast to be ready. I've been here a dozen times now, and this is the standard wait time. Although I love their coffee and food, it's really hard justifying spending money here when I could easily buy fancy coffee for less at other places that are just as good, and make the same food for a fraction of the price -- and less time! -- at home.
Super local vibe, nice baristas (except 1 rude one spring ‘25). Coffee is sour☕️🫤for those who can taste sour coffee (some love it). I can’t drink it, but baked goods have many healthy tasty GF options🥮yay! Though I like the homey/industrial vibe the temp is COLD as they have windows and front and back doors wide open even what it’s in the 50’s out!🥶 Outdoor space in back is a-dorable😍 Really appreciate it’s here💕 Overall 3.5⭐️ Coffee 2⭐️ Place 2.5⭐️ Pastries 3.5⭐️ GF pastry variety 4.5⭐️
It is a beautiful space and the atmosphere is so good. Maybe we caught the barista (tall white guy) on a bad day, but his service and attitude was so bad that it couldn’t help but feel like it had a racist element. And if you look at the picture that’s how they serve you when you want to dine in and have a nice cup of coffee, a disappointing/low-effort presentation.

A nice little cafe with joyful vibes. Good energy. I had an oat milk mocha and a pumpkin empanada. The mocha was delicious and came in a charming ceramic mug that no doubt came from someone's home. The empanada, while tasty, was mostly empty space. I was disappointed with the seating as the chairs were inconsistent in quality and were often too short to make sitting at the tables comfortable. Their outdoor back patio space felt like it had been somewhat neglected, but would likely be perfectly charming with a little cleaning and attention to the potted plants.
Disappointing Quality and Service My experience at this shop was highly disappointing due to poor product quality and lacking operational standards. The coffee was served cold , offering little quantity for the high price. My experience at this shop was highly disappointing due to poor product quality and lacking operational standards. The coffee was served cold and was too sweet, offering little quantity for the high price. Despite the specific aesthetic—a "hippy place" frequented by "tree huggers" and "kindness" slogans—the service was nonexistent; no one asked how we liked it. Cleanliness was a major concern: cups were chipped, and tables remained dirty as no one was available to wipe tables. To top it off, we were disappointed with the quality of the cakes. The vibe cannot compensate for the fundamental failures in product and hygiene. by "tree huggers" and "kindness" slogans—the service was nonexistent. Sadly used to be one of my favorite cafés in Point Richmond. As of late however the coffee quality has gone down, from "sour" to burnt tasting coffee. To make things worse, charging absurd for a pump of flavoring (pumpkin flavor @$1.50 & $.91¢ for milk sub) . Minimum paying $8-$9 for a latte. ABSURD. I think there's new ownership but I don't ever remember being like this. "Okay" & good at best.
