Unfortunately I was starving and did not get photos! My friend had tongue tacos and said the good! I had the Torta sandwich and it was delicious! Made fresh to order& fast! The cashier was cool too! Definitely will be back when I’m on that side of Richmond again!

Came up on this sweet spot on a hump-day lunch... best thing that could have happened for my attitude that day, NO JOKE! Had homeboy slap together a carnitas/grilled chicken "buro" The food is a winner no dought... but paired with that home-made red sauce!?🤯🤩😍🥰there goes your taste buds 😋

Quite possibly one of the best taquerias in Richmond, and that is saying something as there are lots of taquerias in Richmond. The carne asada and al pastor are tasty. They also have fish or shrimp as an option too, which are just as delicious. Veggie options are available too, including butternut squash. But my favorite cut of meat is actually the campechanos, which is a mix of beef, chorizo and pork. It’s cool to see a unique type of meat that not everyone offers.

Had fish and chicken tacos. They were delicious. Small unassuming taqueria that looked clean and very well run A few outdoor tables. If your group can't all agree on mexican, there's also a fantastic pizza place right next door and so everyone can get something they like.

Stopped in here after a ride across the bridge to Marin and back. I ordered a steak burrito and it was great!! There are other meats you can choose but the steak was awesome. I also ordered chips and guacamole. For me the crispiness of the chips is critical. Their chips were outstanding. Very crispy and tasty!! Rode my bike past here a few times. The next time I ride by I'll be sure to get something to eat. The place is small with no indoor seating but there are some tables out front. The food came out quickly as well. There are regulars to the place. It's cool hearing the orders when they call each other by name. Sounds like a great local spot!!

All were flavorful i think my favorite was the chorizo :) the only Down side is that it’s a small place 4 spots to sit inside and the rest of the tables are outside. I’m not sure of they have bathroom either but I will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu !

$16 for a huge steak burrito with added guacamole to go, and it was phenomenal. Easily one of the best burritos I’ve had in ages. Came with a little foil packet with I’m guessing pickled onion, carrot and a jalapeño, and a little cup of red and green salsa. Everything was fantastic, and I will be back again. Parking wasn’t too bad to find a spot, and there’s some tables outside for seating.

If not the most the food I got from Maya Taqueria was one of the most delicious Mexican food I have ever eaten in my life. Also the staff were really professional and kind. I will go back for sure!

Literally a hidden gem! After a hot sauna with friends, we decided to check this place out. I wasn’t even hungry and was pretty skeptical, so my bf and I started with only 4 tacos. However after the first bite, I was completely won over by the flavor and the incredibly tender pork so I ended up ordering every flavor on the menu, and each one was just as impressive. Especially in this super duper inflated world, where else can you find $1 chips and $3 tacos? Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic, affordable, and unbelievably delicious 🌮

Hey, y'all! I visited Maya's on a coworkers suggestion and I was very pleased! I ordered the Carnitas Burrito, and it was GOOD! I asked for light rice and light on the beans. The tortilla was crusty and brown. I ate it about an hour later, and the Burrito 🌯 was still in good "chomping" shape. 😄 It was not damp or mushy. I almost ordered the nachos, but did not want to be greedy. 😋 That'll be my choice on the next visit. I have passed by the establishment before, but I just did not have the time to visit. The staff (lady at the register) was nice and helpful with my questions. It's a must stop!

I think the chef loves salt lol. All the meat was very flavorful and quality. Fast service, good price, like the outdoor seating and get the CHURROS! you won’t regret the calories. Chips were salty as hell and I overheard another table talking about the salty burrito too. Would def go back. Got a beer from Raymond’s next door!

Amazing experience I went one time I will always go back when I'm in the area again lady that just did they start a veggie burrito on the menu I'm glad she did I mixed the two together there's a veggie burrito with zucchini and then one with squash I recommend them both they're both amazing and real big and fulfilling

The owner is a wonderful Spainaird after my heart! Given the quality of worker and cooks who give life to the food that has entranced my soul, I can say that if you are in Point Richmond than look no further for FRESH, CLEAN, & GOOD FOOD!! The restaurant may be a little small but in the era of covid it's of no concern. Well kept and clutter free! My favorite is lengua anything super yummy!

To me, these are the best burritos and churros inside of the city of Richmond. I don't think it is close. I think they have very good fresh food. The service is great. The location is small and eating outside is best or to use this for takeout. But you will not regret the amazing food that they make.

The churros are excellent. Disneyland churros don’t even compare - I laugh at the Mickey Mouse churros ears because Maya’s are waaay better. The burritos are also delicious. Great food every single time we come here, which is at least once a week. Also love the Maya salad - the chipotle salad dressing is 🔥

Great service, friendly staff, but they are up against some stiff competition for me . I like the tacos at the Albany food truck better, but these were above average. The pescado was not all that. However Shrimp tacos and Salmon tacos had good flavor. But similarly, compared to Fish's Wild in San Jose, the flavor was just ok. But since i'm not close to San Jose, i'll have the shrimp tacos here any day.

Tacos were affordable and pretty tasty. There isn't much of seating area so it's more of a taco stand. If in the area I would 100% come back!

The food and aqua frescos are always amazing. Big portions of food too. The red salsa has has good flavor and a nice kick to it. The green one is just a little too salty. For those with a Gluten issue, like me, I have never had any problems when ordering a burrito with no tortilla.

Had the al pastor and lengua tacos 🌮! Lenguas were bomb, and the pastor were pretty good. Service was quick and friendly. Roughly 20 bucks for 5 tacos and a bottle of water.

I used to love their burritos, but visited tonight and the carne asada burrito was mostly rice and beans and the meat was dry. I will try them one more time before I give up on them. I am writing hoping they see this and taste the product they are serving to customers. We spent $45.00 for two people.

The crispy tacos are really tostadas and thats mega annoying. Tostadas fall apart on the first bite and then yr stuck eating a non-consensual salad. Otherwise it was tasty.

No kings poster pasted in the walls… just what you expect from a place in the Bay Area that caters to mostly white clientele.

The WORSE RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE, EL PEOR SERVICIO QUE HE TENIDO. Ordered fajitas, they gave me the fajitas with no meat they asked me to come back the next day to get my order again and they refused to make the whole order again, so they gave me my food in parts the best day. If it had zero stars I would give them 0 starts!!
