A super special restaurant!!! The food is homemade and delicious, the service is spectacular, and the decor and location are stunning! In the summer, you can eat and dine under the grape-filled vines, and in the winter, they have uniquely decorated and cozy little rooms! If you're in Pontevedra, don't miss it!
The best tortilla I've ever tasted, juicy and full of flavor. The mushrooms were simply exquisite, a true delicacy. The setting is beautiful and very pleasant, with tasteful and exquisite decor that makes you want to stay. It's essential to book in advance, as the place fills up quickly. The only downside is the parking, but if I leave a tip, I'm sure they'll find a way to help us find a spot. A place I will definitely return to.
Everything was spectacular!! The food, the attention from both the owner and the rest of the staff, the atmosphere, the decor... Reservations are essential, and it's worth it. We tried the omelet, the Swiss caprices, the mushrooms, and the tomato salad, and each one was more delicious than the last, a pleasure for the senses! We will definitely be back!
A charming place, full of details and decor. Everything is very well maintained. The dishes are generous: we ordered half an omelet and half a squid with tomato sauce, and we had some leftover squid (there were two of us). As a starter, they serve pâté with biscuits to satisfy the hunger, but the wait was short, as the service was quick. Everything was very good, especially the omelet... Very tasty. They don't have dessert or coffee, but they did serve us a chocolate sponge cake and some jelly beans. The waiters and the owner were very attentive at all times. The price/quality ratio is good. The place is very spacious and cozy. Reservations are required, and there are two dinner seatings (8:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.). There's no private parking. Even so, I parked very close by, next to the road in a lay-by. It's my first time there, but it won't be the last. Highly recommended 💯
I was really looking forward to trying this place, as I had heard and read many reviews. I had tried several times to book but hadn't managed to until this week. We went as a group of friends (there were eight of us) and it truly exceeded our expectations. The place is wonderful; in every corner you can discover the owners' impeccable taste in decorating, making you feel like you're in a unique setting. The staff is delightful from the moment you walk in the door; they treat you wonderfully. The sommelier was a 10 out of 10, and Alberto was always attentive and made things easy. As for the food, it was amazing. The Spanish omelet was delicious, as were the cod fritters, the mushrooms with Cebreiro cheese, the tomato and fruit salad, and the calamari with tomato sauce. Everything was superb. We didn't get to try the Swiss dessert, but we were already stuffed (the portions are enormous). They offer white, red, and rosé wines. In short, it's a place you have to visit more than once for its food, its staff, and its magical corners within the estate. A ten out of ten for the entire Lar de Morar team
Some friends from Seville recommended this place to us, and what a great find! They have a small menu, but the dishes are spectacular. There were five of us, and three portions left us completely stuffed! We were so surprised by the generous portions and how delicious all three dishes were. We spent a week in Galicia, and this was THE BEST TORTILLA WE EVER TASTED, AMAZING! (I could even say it's the best I've ever had.) If we go back, I have no doubt we'll definitely return. Alberto was a delight and so friendly and welcoming!
We went for dinner and loved the decor. It's a shame it was nighttime and we couldn't appreciate it as much, but it's very original. The food was very good; they have a limited number of dishes, and that's it. The Spanish omelet was very good, cooked perfectly—not too raw, not too overcooked. The cod fritters were also delicious and large, the mushrooms with cheese were spectacular, and the Swiss steak was also very good. They don't have desserts, but they bring you a small plate with pieces of Santiago cake and gummy bears, which was a nice touch. They don't have coffee either, but they do have shots. We were seated at a very nice round table. It must be great in the summer, but right now it was freezing cold, and one waitress and another waiter kept pushing the door all the way in, so that was the worst part of the experience. But otherwise, it was very good.
Very good food! We ordered half portions because there were only two of us, and it's nice to have that option. For half an omelet and half a mushroom omelet, we paid €27, sipping on house wine. Good prices. Before the meal, they serve bread rolls with pâté, and for dessert during Holy Week, a bread roll. Both are free. The place is very spacious and cozy. Friendly staff. We'll be back.
The place is absolutely gorgeous. Both the owner and the waiters were very friendly, and the food was spectacular and reasonably priced. Three of us had dinner, all half portions. The Spanish omelet was delicious, as were the calamari with tomato sauce and the Swiss-style sandwich. For dessert, they served small pieces of grilled meat and some gummy candies. They have soft drinks and wine, and my only complaint is that they don't have coffee 😅. We'll definitely be back.
This place is beautiful and charming. It doesn't matter if you go in summer or winter, it always has its charm. The first time some friends took me, and now I go whenever I can 😉. The food is delicious, the staff is unbeatable, and the setting is perfect. I love it, ten out of ten....
Such a special place! Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. Delicious food and very generous portions.
The place is beautiful; you won't find many restaurants this lovely. The staff is exceptional because even though we had to wait due to the rain, they did their best to serve us as quickly as possible. The best Spanish omelet I've ever had, and the calamari was incredible—I've never tasted it like that. The food is spectacular. Very romantic for couples, and generous portions for larger groups too. Greetings from Zaragoza, and thank you for a wonderful dinner.
Brutal!!!
Anyone planning to walk the Camino should make this hotel part of their trip. We had booked one night but we were so impressed by the warm welcome and ambiance that we changed our plans and stayed…
Fantastic food and homely atmosphere. The eclectic design was attractive and a real talking point throughout the dinner. Highly recommend!

Taste the omelette... Incredible!!! Everything is tasty and comfy!
