I won’t give a perfect rating because nothing is flawless! This is our second visit to this restaurant. We were seated right away, and our waitress was very friendly, answering our questions with a smile. The salad bar area was clean. The food was reasonably priced, well-portioned, and flavorful. I enjoyed the fish (grouper) and chips, while my guy had the sausage and egg taco. Oh and the tartar sauce was really good.

Very delicious food. My husband's chicken strip meal was a great bang for his buck. I felt my shrimp boat (shrimp po' boy) was a bit overpriced, but shrimp is expensive. But it was well seasoned and very tasty. Great service. Clean. Good sweet tea. Would definitely recommend.

We ended up at this spot by accident but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Parking is tight. Restaurant looks like a little whole in the wall so pay attention or you'll pass it up. Small on the inside but there was no waiting when we walked in. Server was quick to attend to us and bring drinks. Food took longer than expected but server checked on us often, refilled our drinks, and was very friendly. Food was delicious! Definitely plan on going back to try their breakfast items.

Ordered breakfast - food was made fast and service was fantastic. Sausage patties were red in the middle and cold but pancakes and omelette were made well.

We were a little disappointed when we came at 10:50 for breakfast, had to wait 25 minutes, and when we got sat, 20 minutes before breakfast ended were told we couldn’t order it anymore even though the people next to us literally just ordered breakfast. We’d been talking about pancakes all morning so this was disappointing given the menu says they serve breakfast until 11:30. So we were so hungry we quickly scanned the lunch menu and ordered fish and chips. After waiting, no exaggeration, for 45 minutes for our meal after ordering, we were disappointed with the quality, the fish was fresh but the breading was really bad and dry. We could only stomach a little of it, and by the looks at other tables next to us they weren’t doing very well with their meals either. I wish we’d have saved the $45 and gone elsewhere.

We left the camper this morning headed for the donut shop... but we noticed this cafe and on a whim decided to give it a try... we pulled in about 8:30am and had a table in about 10 minutes. The first thin I noticed was the big sign stating “NO substitutions” ... I have to say so don’t like seeing that right when I walk in a new place... we were put on a waiting list and then just left to wait, customer service here was not on point. In all fairness the average age of the waitstaff was probably 20... so I have them grace with that... they will learn more as the get older. We ended up ordering and the food was decent. Hash browns weren’t crispy but they weren’t soggy either... they were made from a bigger shredded potatoes than we have back home but they tasted good. Biscuits and gravy, average, needed salt and pepper but that’s it. Over medium eggs were a bit too “over easy” for the kids, the sausage omelet was a bit over cooked, but we ate it... all in all we left full. It didn’t break the bank and it didn’t take that long to get in and out... when we left there was a huge line of people coming in and the waiting area was full... so timing is everything here.

I ordered a hamburger, I got a cheese burger. I can't eat dairy. I sent it back. I should have just gotten up and walked out. I eventually got a replacement burger with the original fries all cold and soggy. My husband had the meatloaf special and it was good but cold. He didn't say anything because of the mess I got. I will never go back

We both ordered eggs which were cooked perfect but my wife ordered crispy hash browns and they were barely cooked including mine toast was barely toasted my sausage was barely warm it appears there in to much of a hurry to get the food out

My sister and I came here to have breakfast back in October. There were flies buzzing around the table, the waitress only came twice to take order and give us check. They were not busy at all. Breakfast was awful, toast and eggs were cold. I completely forgot that the lovely Arzola family had sold their restaurant a few months prior and that's my fault. It's sad that Port A doesn't have more breakfast options.

Waited over an hour to be seated, then they told another group they could have our table, ummm no. We finally got seated, and our waitress was sweet, but way over worked, 2 young girls did come by every so often to get drunk refills, child labor at it's best. They were maybe 7 and 9ish years old, they got an extra tip from us just because they were a big help. As for the food, awful, everyone was saying it's worth the wait, we waited, it was awful. 3 hours later we got to check out, the wait for table and our food was unacceptable, no discount offered, and gratuity of 55$ added. Which would of been ok, if service had been worth it. Advice to owners.... keep the young girls, best workers you have. BTW, the other group left, wish we had of too.

Wouldn’t recommend the “ribeye” steak & eggs aka fat covered skirt steak… for $20 I think not .

We had the absolute WORST experience at this restaurant!! For starters we got there at breakfast time but they had already stopped serving breakfast. We waited over an hour to be seated. As we were sitting down at our table, an employee rushed in and said "oh no they can't sit here this is for the fire department" and then rushed out. She didn't tell us where to go or what to do and our poor waitress was new and had no clue. So we just stood there confused. The way it came off was like we were not as important as the fire department and had to give up our table. So finally she found out that they were trying to get us a new seat. We eventually got seated and got our food after an hour and a half of waiting. The food was pretty good except there was hair cooked into some of the shrimps. Other than that the food was really good. While we were there, another family went up to a server that was by our table and told them that they were tired of waiting and just wanted to pay for their drinks and leave and they left. We also noticed another local couple walk in after us and they were seated and served immediately. The vibe is that they prioritize their locals and don't seem to care about the service they provide to the tourists. Oh also, they add gratuity on checks of 6 or more, will not let you split your check, and add 3% on card purchases. It does say that on the menu though.
