Me and my family always make this a stop when we visit the Island & the food never disappoints! I got the buffalo bird sandwich with fries. The chicken was juicy and crispy & the Louisiana sauce is a perfect touch but doesn't make the sandwich spicy at all. The fries are 10/10 though! Picture chik-fil-a fries, but, seasoned & perfectly crispy! Service was great as well!

Ambience is perfect with views to the golf and bridge. Food was delicious. Loved that they have a magician that comes to each table to perform magic tricks as part of the experience for free from the restaurant. Also, they have a photographer take complementary photos with an option to purchase more photos if desired. The manager came by as well to make sure we were having a great experience, which is a plus. Outside of the restaurant they have different little fun things to take pictures with. We absolutely recommend visiting this restaurant to add a great experience to your visit at South Padre Island.

We had a great time here are server was amazing so kind and helpful he was helping many people all at once. The food is good my husband had a whole red snapper fried I had the chicken fried chicken and our son had the alfredo. We enjoyed our meals.

We're back! Down at the beach again we came back to Pirate's Landing. The lunch was good, the kids got burgers and fries. The blackened red snapper was really good as well as the shrimp and Mahi mahi!Mahi! The kids pasta was really good as well. We ate here about 8 years ago and the food is still great. The service could use some work but all in all we've had much worse. We will definitely be returning.

This review is about the attached outdoor bar called Cannon Bar. We had a great time there and the shrimp boil was very good. We will be going back to enjoy this again

We went a couple times for happy hour and they had a daily reasonable food special, bar only. We also ate in the dining room one night, split a seafood plater and it was very good.

Good place for lunch prior to boarding the pirate cruise. Food was fine. Huge portions. If you order a sandwich, you may want to share or bring a cooler for leftovers. Service was excellent! Outdoor seating has birds and bees after your food, so be careful.

Red Snapper and Mahi-Mahi were very good. We had the shrimp appetizer. Service was OK, waiter forgot our appetizer and the water we had was terrible tasting. Atmosphere was nice, the allowed dogs, so if you are not a dog person beware.

We stopped in to have a drink and sit out on the patio by the bay and just chill for a while. We had three margaritas and the price was $34 which was a little steep I think. The inside of the location is eclectic and had some fun little things on the outside.

I got the Baja fish tacos and this was the first time I tried these kind of Tacos. I would say they were okay the pico it had wasn’t spicy what so ever so I had to added hot sauce to even get a kick. I do feel that their menu is somewhat limited and the times I’ve gone very few of those plates catch my attention and some are a bit pricey for what you’re receiving.

We came here on a Friday night for dinner and got a table in about 15 minutes. Staff was doing an amazing job from the moment we walked in. We were able to get a booth next to the window which had a beautiful view of the ocean. I ordered the fish and shrimp platter which was ok. Nothing special. The fajita plate we got to share was a good portion, but the steak was a bit chewy. The cocktails were a bit too sweet for my taste, didn’t really taste the alcohol. The food was average and priced a little high due to being in a tourist area. This restaurant had excellent service and the decor was fun. Good place to bring the family.

Hi, it’s me again … When you live in a Class A RV, you can go out to eat A LOT!! Today, we are just across the bridge/causeway from South Padre Island at Pirates Landing Restaurant. To be fair, it’s something everyone should visit just because it’s a ‘tourist attraction’. But you DO NOT have to stay for the food. It was what I would call ‘ok, good but not great’. Our servers were very kind and attentive, but the food is really what I would NOT take family to if they came to visit. If you can believe it, I have killed some little, VERY little bugs, scattering across the flaming paint on our table. The shrimp was a bit stinky, like it was a few days old, and the ‘sausage’ was really a hot dog 🤷🏼‍♀️ Can’t make this stuff up, you know! This is an establishment we will NOT frequent again … even while writing this I am shooing away flying bugs. Do yourself a favor and pass on Pirates Landing unless you come for the tourist-y experience alone.

Food was mediocre. The bacon shrimp was good , the burgers and shrimp tacos were average and the crab salad was OK. The sodas and mixed drinks were average. The service was sad, the waitress forgot 2 of our parties beverage orders and never came back to check if everything was ok; it was not ok and we had wanted to order an additional side of fries but weren't able to due to lack of service. There are so many other options in the area, I'd recommend skipping this restaurant and going somewhere else. I really expected better than subpar service during the off season and regret choosing this restaurant.
