Omg! Just had the BEST burrito ever! I'm visiting from Chico. Their (hot) red sauce is just like a place that used to be in Chico (Taco Cortez) the memories came flooding back! Thank you soooooo much and will most definitely be stopping by and eating here EVERY time I'm down here visiting! (See you next month! Hehe)

Delicious Mexican food with great variety not overpriced. Your plate comes with chips and salsa. Great walk up and order spot and seating area has a great atmosphere. When visiting our college kid we always return. This is a good spot for college students on Taco Tuesday- priced at $1.49 per taco!

If you want amazing, authentic Mexican cuisine for a great price, this place is a must! Don't let the exterior fool you. While it's understated and on the busy road, stop and check it out. We can't wait to go back!

Delicious and good value for money. Portion size is good too. We had California veg burrito and a veg taco-enchilada combo. Our order was prepared in no time and was hot and nice for a winter night. Spice levels were perfect. I would definitely recommend.

We had breakfast burritos, of eggs and chorizo, and huevos a la Mexicana. Very good, not greasy, lots of flavors. Sat outside in the shade. Would recommend to all, will stop again if in SLO anytime soon.

This is a favorite ultra-casual go to for breakfast or lunch. Counter service is friendly and attentive. No frills Mexican food is delicious. Beer or horchata are my beverages of choice. Outdoor seating is provided with or without umbrellas. My carnitas burrito a few weeks ago was at the top of the flavor scale. Today I enjoyed the San Miguel burrito for breakfast with horchata to drink. It’s not five star atmosphere. There are cardboard boxes on the deck. The color scheme is random. But service is always provided with a warm smile and attention to detail Check it out!

This was some of the BEST carne asada I have ever had. Man taking orders was so sweet and inviting. Just the best vibes ever. 11/10

Demolished the 805 burrito in minutes. Juicy mouth watering!Definitely a spot to try when in town. Hands down one of the best burritos weve ever had!

Humongous burrito bigger than a baby!! Been to a lot of Mexican places in SLO and this is one of my favorites. I’ve visited 4 times this week and it’s only Wednesday! Three time I had al pastor tacos (which were great) but this morning I was pretty hungry so I got a chile relleno burrito with al pastor wet style. As you can see it was GIANT. They have really good prices, great tacos, delicious horchata, a nice outdoor setting, and a killer taco tuesday deal (be prepared to wait!)

This is always my go to spot when I travel to SLO. The food is always good and the prices aren't too bad. The only downside is that it may be hard to find parking depending on the time of day you go.

This place, and their location in Los Osos are top notch! Some of the best food in the county! When I worked in Los Osos I went to that location 3-5 days a week. This one is just as good, almost identical even. The birria tacos and chorizo burrito bowls are my favorites. The strawberry drink too. Good stuff!

It is a great little place that always has good food and a focal point of social hangs. Stumbling across friends here is quite common. Prices are fair and the menu is huge, overall they are frinedly and helpful and as other reviews have noted subbing things is easy. Most importantly, the food is really tasty and service is quick. What more do you want? A solid choice on foothill.

Best tacos there is, point blank period. Go to San Miguel as normal ordinary person, and come back as a happier, fuller, and kinder person

Asked for no salsa on a Cali burrito as I’m a no cilantro person and what do you know, salsa and cilantro everywhere. On my way to fly out for work so can’t go back. No answer on the phone. Horrible

We were in SLO on a business trip, was really craving some tacos so we stopped here. This place gave me hella bad food poisoning. I think it was the consomme with the Birria tacos as it was like room temp, but I can't be totally sure as I got some shrimp tacos and some carne asada tacos too. Only thing I ate that day, and 6 hours later I got really sick. This was 11/4 and it's now 11/6 and I'm still not 100%. Stay away if you can.

I ordered two Chile relleno burritos. I live off Prefumo Canyon Road. Got home and they were NOT chili Relleno burritos. I was so bummed I was starving and did not feel like going back. And whatever it was that they gave me was not even good. I just ate it cause I was starving. I will never go here again. My order #11 was ordered 8/31/24 whatever that was, DON’T SERVE IT ANYMORE!!! IT WAS NOT GOOD!!!!👎🏼

The guy working at the window shorts you on change when he can and also tries to take advantage of other people of color by overcharging, especially those who need help with the menu. Shameful because the food is decent.

The guy wanted $56 for two breakfast burritos this morning! I think he just tried to rip us off! Your whole menu doesn’t have any food that expensive! Why? Because we are Asian? You don’t deserve our business and what a shame!

Ordered huevos rancheros and chilaquiles. Asked for water and she said we could buy a bottle. Don’t restaurants have to provide free drinking water? Huevos rancheros was two overcooked eggs (almost inedible) on a hard tortilla with green salsa, not the traditional pork salsa verde you’d expect. Chilaquiles was just chips with sauce on top, bland rice and salty beans, it was missing the eggs and when I took it back they didn’t really say anything and took their time overcooking another two eggs. It wasn’t chips cooked together with the eggs and sauce. All that for $28. Overpriced and severely lacking in quality and customer service.

I pass this place all the time,when I go to morro bay, and noticed that there was a line while driving by. So I decided to take a chance and see what's it's all about. . I was totally disappointed and felt like it was a waste of money,I would like to add that the portions were a good size ,so I tried to make the best of it and half way ,I decided to toss the rest. I just threw it away, also the people that were with me said that the Jamaica was like syrup oversweet and that the food was not up to par ,I had a bad experience,but I hope you have a better one,I can honestly say the person taking the order was very nice.
