The place has been remodeled, but it's precarious. The service is only convenient. The music is deplorable. The atmosphere is just show after show. In the past, it was just music until dawn. BE CAREFUL...the prices are high!! They charge excessively, if you're not careful, they add a higher percentage. I recommend other places with a good atmosphere and better prices. It's not worth it now. IT WAS TESTED AND NOT APPROVED.

Honestly, the place is really ugly. I went there that day to support a gay friend, but I thought it was expensive after a certain hour, and the place isn't worth it at all. I wouldn't go back, honestly.

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. The atmosphere is awful, the music is outdated, and they charge you for everything. We ended up paying 450 pesos for four half-pint beers. They charge a cover charge and a minimum consumption fee, and then add 50 pesos for service. Terrible decision, I would never go back, and I don't recommend anyone come here.

The worst nightclubs in Puebla, without a doubt, are La Cigarra, that place is disgusting. Garotos is a "preppy" and spacious cantina, more than a place to relax. For now, we will never go back to those places. I hope they plan their bar/nightclub strategies better for the satisfaction of the community and customers in general. We felt like we went to be bored with my friends. The service was terrible; they force-feed you one, two, five buckets of drinks you didn't order, sodas, etc. And the waiters, by the way, are unfriendly; they seem like police officers or security guards. They don't smile, they think they're money-making machines, fine, but don't go overboard. They blatantly ask for tips at the end, forcing you to do more, according to them. Of course, when you give them 20 or 50 pesos, they get angry. But we also have to emphasize the music; it's more to remind you that you are the laughingstock of the miserable puritanical society. Music where you will hear how they socially denigrate you for being gay or thinking differently, DJ style. So if you want to remember what you are to this miserable society, go to Garotos. And well, that's not all. The people are just plain unfriendly, that's not the point. There are harassers galore, guys with low self-esteem who make you feel sorry for them. But in the end, the point of all this isn't the atmosphere, which is very different everywhere; the point is the service. The stripper show is so arrogant and unfriendly that they make people uncomfortable. They don't smile. If I owned that place, I'd fire half the staff because they're ruining it, and I'd start from scratch with new waiters and new strippers. And the worst part is the security guards who ask for tips as if it were some mediocre place where their boss pays them miserable wages. You give them 10 pesos and they say, "This is worth it, young man, your safety, God!" And there you have it, even the lady in the bathrooms does the same thing; she asks you to tip her for using the restrooms. So if you go to Garotos, you have to be prepared as if you were going to Ibiza or the best clubs. German dives or worse, a communal bar where everyone asks for a tip and demands a considerable amount, but here's the thing, friends, be prepared for this: beers at 50 pesos each, by the way, that's what the waiter and his coworkers told us, and people were saying they were 35. Buckets of beer cost us 500 pesos, and since they brought us 5, you can imagine. And a waiter kept appearing, thinking we didn't notice, and taking one beer at a time. They took our stools and almost took the table. Horrible, horrible, I don't recommend it at all. And then they take the money from the drunks, they search them when they kick them out, so be careful, guys and girls. At least I won't be going there again, and for the rest of my life, when people from Puebla ask me if I want a good, cheap, and affordable place, no, better yet, go to Juarez.

Really bad place. Dj doesn’t even play. The waiter charged me 45 for a coke and when I bought it directly from the bar it costed 40 plus she wanted 50 as a tip and she charged it already on my bill and she was not even paying attention to my service. This place is really bad. If you ever go please go and buy your own stuff from the bar because they will try to steal some money from you.
