This place is SO GOOD. A must try!! The seafood/food is fresh and flavorful!! Great tequila selection! The service is amazing, the whole team was super sweet, so glad I came across this place, will be back!!

What a gem of a place. We loved it here so much we came 2 days in a row. It was clean, interior decor was very cute, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was incredible with generous portions. Most meals were $12 to $15 in US dollars. The food presentation was lovely and I enjoyed the novel way in which they served any extra dipping sauces or toppings in edible tortilla shells rather than plastic cups. The bowl of tortilla soup was HUGE and good! Can't wait to return next year.

This place is unreal, it is family owned and very authentic. This place captures the essence of Mexico with the decorations and the food. The atmosphere here is otherworldly and great for all ages. However my favorite part has to be the food, the presentation, the taste, and the texture is perfect. I came here with my family and we all were in agreement that this place is amazing. If you are ever nearby I highly recommend you stop by whether it be for a date or for a family outing the servers will make sure you have the best time possible.

Excelente lugar, limpio y con un servicio excepcional. Tienen salsas deliciosas y que no pican si asi lo quieres. La comida es excepcional y preparada al momento. La atención es muy amable y se nota que se preocupan por cumplir las expectativas del cliente. Los precios son accesibles y el ambiente es folclórico y tranquilo. Tienen que probar las tortillas de harina!!

This is a nice little spot on Rodeo Drive in Rocky Point. It is quaint and because it is still a well kept secret, you can sometimes have the place to yourself. The decor is nice and the temperature is always comfortable regardless of the outside temps. The staff is happy to accomodate and the menu is vast with traditional Mexican, seafood, and burgers or steaks. The pricing is reasonable with $15 rib eye or filet mignon. The food is very good. Beer and made to order cocktails are available.

Absolutely delicious! It's off the beaten track. The decor and food was wonderful. We started with a shrimp cocktail and guac - both so fresh. And then enchiladas, tacos and wings. My two kids and husband (and I) ate everything. It's not very big but it was packed. It's a fun, lively restaurant. When we left, people were even waiting outside. Our bill for dinner for four (including a beer and margarita) was only about $50. Highly highly recommended. We'll definitely visit again.

Must visit this place if you are in Rocky Point! We visit at least twice each time we drive down. There tortilla soup will cure cancer! Just kidding, yes that how good it is. Service is great and the waiters are super friendly! This place is awesome and its right in the middle of this little market place where you can buy some little knick-knacks on the way out of town. Close to resorts! You will love it.

We have been coming to Puerto Penasco for nearly 3 decades and never tried this restaurant. Once you walk in you will be amazed by the beautiful interior. Everything is covered in high end stone/tile decor and the place looks and feels brand new. Even the restrooms are clean and beautiful. The food is EXCELLENT! I would highly recommend this place to anybody visiting the area.

Always great! The food is fresh, well prepared, generous portions. Tortilla soup before dinner is a nice little meal in itself. The diablo shrimp is hot, but if you like spicy, try it! Great flavor. House margarita is one of the best in town!

The food here is amazing. The salsa in particular was delicious! Everything is roasted and then made into a salsa. Hot but not too hot and slightly sweet due to the roasted vegetables. I had the beef chili rellenos. They were so good! Not too bready and stuffed with beef and cheese. I highly recommend stopping in and eating if you are in the area!

My husband and I always enjoy the food and atmosphere in this restaurant, the decor is so pretty and the breaded shrimp is very good. Jan 2022, I wanted to update this review. This was the best meal we have ever had in Rocky Point. I have been going to Puerto Peñasco for over 20 years and the experience here absolutely floored me and my husband. The food was INCREDIBLE with such fresh flavors, the service was impeccable, the atmosphere was beautiful and serene, and we cannot wait to go back!!

My family and I loved this! we sat 10 at a table and the service was absolutely amazing. The margaritas were amazing & the food was 10/10. the flautas de pollo was super yummy & my girlfriend got tacos de Cameron. such a hidden gem but absolutely wonderful!!!!

We only had beverages. The service was excellent. We didn't have anything to eat, but I don't want less than an excellent score to be shown. The tables around us had wonderful looking food.

We were 6 people, the food was the best we ate on our staying in Mexico. The service waa outstanding. The staff very friendly and knowledgeable. I do recommend, if you go by on the street it may not get your attention, but its well worth to try.

This place has amazing food and service and atmosphere! It's just great. I always notice not many vacationers know it exists. Please make the visit! It's close to everything! There's shops on the street too! My favorite dishes are chimichangas, grilled shrimp and fried shrimp tacos. Owner and workers are super kind and sweet. We eat here once or twice every time we come to RP. :)

This bar was amazing. Our first time here but not our last. Met David the owner. He is truly the best. Friendly and served us with class! Beers were ice cold and the bar was beautiful. We will definitely return next time we’re down. Can’t wait to try the food!!

Food was Amazing!!! We enjoyed the service. Unfortunately the Long island was watered down. I don't know how they managed to water down a drink that comes with 4-5 shots of different liquor, but I know my long Islands, and it was horrible. Especially to be in Mexico. But the food was fantastic. The service was great. The staff got us everything we asked for when we asked. And fixed orders when they got it wrong. It's unfortunate that the town was buzzing and this place was dead. We went to get away from all the hustle of the Malecon. This area was perfect. And it had its own set of shops located around the restaurant. Really a gem of an area if you don't want all the heat and people.

Dinner with the family, we showed up at 7pm and we were the only table.. wasn’t sure if that was going to be good or bad.. We got all the attention the food was fresh and presentation was fun.. Chips and salsa is a little different it’s a chipotle flavored salsa we enjoyed trying something new.. Most of us had the tacos, also the tortilla soup( yummy but not hot enough for me) the winner was the coconut shrimp!! Wow

Great little place off the beaten path on “Rodeo Drive”. Recommend anything with mole, the enchiladas rojas, choriqueso, and crème brûlée.

The food was amazing. The service was not so much there I should say. We had to track down any waiter just for food, drinks, the check, and like I said literally anything and everything.

Restaurant was very helpful recommending gluten free choices and even having safe chips not fried in a common fryer but the enchiladas and even the fresh shrimp fajitas weren’t all that tasty, especially for the price charged.

Great margaritas. Good guac and salsa. The coconut shrimp could have been better wasn't as crispy I like. Also, the beef burrito was just okay. The fajitas looked good. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service was good.

Overpriced and the food was not as good as other restaurants we like in Rocky Point. They close at 8pm on Saturday! They were turning away people at the door.

Decent place near the resorts. Most of the dishes ordered were amazing but avoid the rellenos. Also check with waiter because some plates don't come with sides. There are many better value options in Puerto but the bacon wrapped shrimp were a favorite in the area. You can probably find those elsewhere in town cheaper but we didn't look too hard.

Lunch but used dinner menu for 8 people. We were the only table for quite a while and service was slow. Once the lunch crowd appeared the service was turtle slow. Glad i didn't get another drink because our friends got their second drink served as we paid the bill though they ordered it 25 minutes earlier. Good atmosphere inside for decorations but when three tables are full can't hear a thing, poor acoustics. I will try outside upstairs next time to see if it is easier to hear people in my party.

We went there looking at Yelp reviews. The mixed tacos plate and veggie fajitas were average. The margarita was fine. We went there at 6.30 pm to pick up dinner. The restaurant had 1 table occupied. There was barely anyone in the street. Most shops were closed. It was scary with my family. Definitely skip after dark.

Algo lentos, se tardan mucho con la cuenta porque no usan ningún sistema, todo es manual. Además de que si quieres usar tarjeta de cobran el 8% lo cual es muchísimo además de ilegal. Honestamente no vale la pena calidad/precio hay muchísimos restaurantes mejores. Y ni bonita vista tiene, ademas las escaleras son peligrosas

I know I made a mistake ordering pasta at a Mexican restaurant while the rest of my family ordered traditional Mexican dishes but as I consumed my bolognese shrimp pasta, that took well over 40 minutes to prepare, I noticed inedible ingredients while consuming my food. I assumed they were parts of the shrimp that the chef may have left in but as I unraveled the pieces I noticed they were large chunks of plastic. Service was extremely slow even though we were the only customers until a couple showed up 30 minutes later. Overall I am unsatisfied with the extremely slow service and lack of attention in my meal’s ingredients. But the salsa was well prepared and the other dishes we ordered (the enchilada combination and chimichanga combination) were mediocre as the rice tasted old. Luckily our server was understanding and professional about the situation and the meal was discarded from the bill.

Not sure what has changed, management, cook, staff but was not close to the same this last visit. My friends got sick from the shrimp fajitas and commented that the place seemed to smell back by the kitchen. I didn't notice but my food seemed tasteless this time. I did send my drink back for a bottle that did not have to be mixed. It will be a while before we venture back as there are just so many amazing places to visit.

Disappointed at best. Mediocre fajitas, tiny burrito for high end restaurant prices. You can do so much better for less in beautiful puerto peñasco. Maybe everyone comes here for the drinks but I am not impressed and feel ripped off.

This is an updated review. I originally gave this place a 5 star and that was based on my experience eating there every time I visit Ricky point. However this time in 2023 I was very disappointed in the quality and service. It seems as if they had a different chef this time. The food looked the same but it missed something. They don't have the fried fish anymore, they told me they only have filet. Then please take the dish out of the menu then because that what I always order there. The tortilla soup was good, but not as good as it used to be. I ordered a steak and that was salty and felt that it was prepackaged and cooked rather than prepared from scratch.

I went to this place and the place is not bad at all. Inside is nicely decorated but that’s all I can say that’s nice about this place. It took a long time to get our order and even longer to bring our food to us. I got happy when they brought over our food because it was nicely put together but looks are deceiving like the way this place is. This was the first and definitely the last time I come here. Not worth it.

I will never be back. The service took way too long ! The food was Okayish .. it looks prettier than it tastes! My fish tacos were undercooked and raw! I didn't notice until I got halfway through eating it. However, They were nice and took it off my bill and apologized, but 1 day later, I ended up with the worst case of food poisoning in my life! NEVER AGAIN!

I’m not sure if the other reviews here are real because I don’t see how this place has a 4.6 rating, it was terrible. The food was bland, dry and simply not good. I went for lunch with 4 others. None of us enjoyed the food. I had shrimp tacos and guacamole and chips. The shrimp were not very fresh. They were cooked in some sort of seasoning that was pasty and flavorless. 2 of the orders came out incorrectly by the time they fixed them the other 3 were done eating. Paying the check took an eternity plus it was overpriced. I would not recommend. There are certainly a LOT of other great places in Puerto Penansco with really excellent food, don’t waste your time and money here.
