We got the chocolate frappe and pina colada Agua Fresca. Very tasty and refreshing on a hot afternoon.

Scoops were great , if you are from out of town you will find some unique flavors.

Full bodied aguas here. A variety of flavors so diverse it's difficult to choose what to order. Would come back daily. Great value.

Tasty, fresh and lots of variety. I think it's a family run place and the staff is friendly, fast, and consistent. They'll patiently answer questions about their pops and ice cream as well as the area in general. Refreshing experience on a hot day! Be aware there really isn't anywhere to sit. It's got a grab and go atmosphere but you can absolutely stand nearby and finish your snack then deposit your trash in the provided receptacle. Highly recommend

The ice cream here was creamy and delicious! There were a lot of flavor options spread across gelatos and ice creams. The flavors were not labeled so we had to ask for some guidance but the staff was friendly and helpful. We each got a 2-scoop cone and the total was $160 peso, so it was on par or even cheaper than some other options in the area. Would definitely recommend!

Came by on a food tour, had a watermelon Popsicle and my wife has a chili mango one. The watermelon was so juicy and sweet, no preservatives, just 100% natural and fresh. The chili mango was wild, also fresh mango and had the spicy bite of the chili. We will be looking for it tomorrow, and trying other options

The staff were very friendly and the popsicles were delicious! We got traditional flavors dipped in chocolate with sprinkles or coconut. One from our group got strawberry and it had full sized strawberries inside of it. We were all very happy with our treats!

Delicioso! Get one of their aguas frescas - my favorite is their “agua de frutas” which is like a slightly creamy Mexican fruit punch with strawberry, cantaloupe, guava and apple. Their mint limeade is also fantastic. Oh yeah, their popsicles too!

We came here on a food tour of the Zona Romantica and kept coming back every day after. The father and son owners are super kind and helpful. They have tasty paletas with or without milk. We loved the lime, passion fruit, soursop, coconut and mango chile. They can also make an ice cream sandwich on the spot with about ten ice cream flavors. Great prices and the perfect treat on a hot day!

Delicious ice cream. We had Paletas the first day and ice cream and sorbet the second. It was so good we went back! They have lots of flavors including some fruits that are only found in Mexico. We’ll probably go back tomorrow!

I can’t believe I just found this place my last week here in PV. A fantastic selection of cold treats that are super cheap (20 pesos for the fruitsicles). I plan to try a new flavour each day. Staff are very friendly and helpful explaining all the options. It appears locals will swing by as the staff know what they get. I also see most tours stopping by with their tour groups. Don’t miss out when I’m PV.

I visited this location everyday for 11 days, 2x a day. I went with unique flavors first, such as hibiscus, soursop, mango with chile, prune, a local fruit which is supposed to be similar to a cherry and elote. I changed it up and tried a coffee with granola, strawberry, strawberry with creme, pistachio, lime and more. My intent was to try every flavor they had, but I probably only got halfway through their selection. The owners are extremely welcoming and always have a smile on their face. Don't know what to get? Just ask. They are eager to assist and ensure you get the correct flavor to fullfil your craving. Prices are extremely affordable. They use fresh ingredients to make the popsicles, so you'll get chunks of fruit and bursts of flavor. Try their ice cream and flavored drinks too!

Must visit while you’re in town! Try the guava or the passion fruit! You will get the actual seed in the bar as well. There are other ice cream places with same name but this is owned by a sweet Mexican lady and she makes the best ones in town. The bars cost less than $1 usd! Enjoy!

This paleteria is the best in Puerto Vallarta! They have different kind of paletas, helados and frescas! After eating tacos, visit Paleteria la Michoacana! Also try the pistachio helado! They taste sooooo good. They close at 9 pm and only accepts cash.

This was a stop on the Vallarta Eats Food Tour. At first, I was a bit disappointed when we arrived here as we had subpar ice cream from a shop of the same name near the Malecón. Turns out, according to our guide, the name "La Michoacana" can be used by anyone in Mexico operating a business. Good, I thought, but would they have the same, flavorless ice cream? Only one way to find out! ATMOSPHERE: The corner shop has no seating so it's all take away. Two freezers contained neatly stacked homemade popsicles and a nice variety of ice cream. My only concern was of the shop owner's bird that was flying around in the shop that perched above the overturned ice cream cups with dried bird poop running down the walls. Yuck! DESSERT: Chocolate Chip Ice Cream All qualms disappeared after my first bite. The very yellow-colored vanilla ice cream was smooth and creamy with the perfect amount of chocolate chips. Popsicles A plethora of colors and flavors were available in which my spouse chose strawberry, complete with an actual strawberry fruit stuck into the bottom of it. He reported it tasted okay but could've been a bit sweeter. SERVICE: The man serving us was friendly and explained the flavors since no signage was available. OVERALL: This La Michoacana, located more inner city, was good. A five star rating could be had if pet tweety wasn't flying around and pooping.

Good friendly service but the ice cream lacks creaminess and authentic flavor. Tastes artificially flavored. Tried 3 flavors but ended up getting a popsicle, which was just ok.

The girl who served us was lovely and super friendly but the ice cream was a bit of a letdown. The presentation is nice and the flavours, interesting but the actual icecream tasted different. It didn't taste or feel like quality ice cream for some reason. I love ice cream but I was disappointed by what we had here unfortunately.
