The food was excellent ! The bread unique, chewy, and flavourful. The blend of ingredients to make each unique sandwich was well done! I am waxing lyrical because it was possibly the best sandwich I have ever had. So much better than fast food !!!!
Decided to grab some lunch after my kids hockey game. We decided on pizza and it was really good! Seems like a nice hidden gem
I love this place. Finally there a a consistently solid option for delicious food in Pulaski. The sandwiches are great as well as the salads we had. We would recommend this to anyone visiting this area.
First time their. Not a fan of order pay then sit, however they have a small bar, so we had a beer while waiting. The servers were incredible and friendly. They also did not say a word when we stated till almost 3 and they closed at 2. I cannot wait for next year, I know where I will he eating at lunch.
Absolutely lovely spot! It’s been here for about 8 years and just found out! Everything is super fresh and they bake in-house. We had salads and the Pulaski sandwich..
We stopped here for the first time on our way to the St. Lawrence River. This place is definitely a new “go to” for us!! The location is just off of I81. Cute market with adorable gifts and treasures. The menu has great healthy options to choose from. We ordered sandwiches online for pickup, and our order was ready when we arrived. Super friendly staff. We ordered a turkey, cranberry with Brie on their homemade bread. Sooo tasty, so much flavor and everything was fresh. The second sandwich we ordered was turkey avocado with pesto on their homemade bread. Also very good. We love supporting local businesses, this little market we will definitely be returning. Highly recommend.
Many choices of sandwiches with so many options for toppings. Their prices are on the high side but worth it. The staff were nice and polite.
Excellent range of fresh foods -- sandwiches with a wide range of deli meats and veggie options,, soba and udon bowls, salads and veggie bowls. Nice atmosphere, good prices, highly recommend!
Visiting from NYC, good sandwiches on every corner. I have to say, I just had the best sandwich from Mill House. Will be ordering from here every time I visit.
This is not for room/lodging, but rather for just the market itself. Went here for a caramel macchiato and their Pulaski sandwich to go. I think the balance of the brie and cranberry and turkey along with the arugula was perfect, but I did find that the amount of mustard was a little bit overpowering but I can see that if they didn’t have that amount of mustard, the sandwich might’ve been a bit dry. Maybe using a mustard mayo combo and then dressing, the arugula with maybe olive oil and a little bit of lemon juice would have been a little bit better in my opinion. But overall, it was still a really good sandwich. I got it grilled and would highly recommend doing so. The macchiato was delicious. The staff is really friendly and it’s just a cute little shop to walk around and look at little trinkets and stuff while waiting.
Oddly enough, I've been all around this place for a long time and never knew it existed. A friend of mine was to meet us for lunch and recommended this amazing shop. From pizza to healthy food bowls to fresh made bread to the most delicious sandwiches ever assembled in Pulaski this place has you covered. While offering all the most delicious food items the also have quite a nice bar area. The decor inside is so nice and beautiful. Parking outside was adequate for the size of the place as well. My only issue was that the setup here was not typical to an eatery. You order your food at the register and they bring it out. You help yourself to all other things whether it were baked treats or drinks or the alcohol. It was a sort of free range and settle up after type of thing. Having said that the staff were zipping back in forth seemingly in a chaotic manner, I am not complaining only Intrigued. I can't wait to go back and investigate new flavors and have a new experience at my favorite place up in the north country
REAL FOOD! Great place to stop for a meal off Rt.81 if you are looking for quality food. People are great, loved my Tahini Bowl and pastry. Pizza looked amazing. Husband's turkey sandwich was delicious. Nice collection of local wares for sale. Bar had a pretty awesome looking selection, too. Place seems to have everything - very well done!
Comes up as a hotel, but we ate there and it was very good. Sandwich with the fresh made bread was great and pizza was good as well. In my opinion one of the better places to eat in Pulaski. Warm atmosphere after being outside in the cold fishing all day. Will be back again.
Nice place and staff, but they had a limited menu. I had the BBQ chicken pizza. It wasn't bad but wasn't great.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for over a year now and am glad I finally did. The Pulaski sandwich was delicious. Very fresh tasting and the atmosphere was calming. They had a huge organic drink section which I appreciated since most places only have soda or water. My only complaint is my mom’s chips were expired and she didn’t realize it until she was halfway through the bag. She told the lady when we cashed out and my mom brought the lady over 5 more bags that had the same expiration date so she could get rid of them. They still charged us for the bag of chips which I thought was wrong especially since our bill was over $60.
Not sure why I am being asked to review rooms? But here is a review of the Market/Restaurant: A Worthwhile Detour on the Way to the Adirondacks We were heading from my Cornell University reunion up to the Adirondacks for some hiking when we stumbled upon this gem of a spot in Pulaski, NY. Mill House Market is a cozy, welcoming place just off I-81—easy to miss, but well worth the stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The front of the shop sets the tone with a cute little market offering unique local gifts and goods, plus a sign out front with some classic Pulaski fishing-town humor (see photo for a chuckle). Inside, you can order at the counter for takeout or settle into their small dining room and order from the menu. We opted to dine in and went with the savory crepes: mine was the smoked salmon with egg, cream cheese, capers, red onion, tomato, and lemon—all wrapped in a flavorful herb crepe and served over fresh arugula. The egg was cooked on top, and while everything was fresh and well-balanced, I would’ve loved the yolk just a little runnier—it would’ve made the perfect natural sauce. Still, a definite hit. Our friend had the Sicilian Eggs with artichokes, spinach, fresh mozzarella, herbs, and grilled bread—plus avocado. It looked fantastic, and she really enjoyed it. Generous portions across the board. A few things to note: the menu is extensive, which can feel a bit overwhelming at first glance. A little more structure or a clearer layout might help. Also, our lattes were served in to-go cups even though we were dining in, which felt a bit out of step with the otherwise cozy, sit-down vibe. Service was friendly and attentive, though with just one server managing the room, things did slow down as it got busier. That said, she was warm, helpful, and clearly juggling a lot with grace. Beyond breakfast, Mill House Market offers an impressive lineup of sandwiches, salads, bowls, pizzas, and rotating specials—so there’s plenty to choose from, no matter what time of day you stop in. It’s clearly a place built with care and personality—part café, part neighborhood hub—and a perfect pit stop whether you're local or just passing through between Syracuse and Watertown.
We ordered pizzas near closing, about 30-40 minutes prior to closing, and they were decent. It was obvious they were ready to close and wanted to get done, The homemade crust was great, but sauce and toppings were about 2 inches or more from the edge of the crust. I got the Hawaiian Islands pizza, and aside from toppings being minimized it was indeed very tasty. The pulled pork on a pizza was wonderful. They have an absolutely HUGE selection of all kinds of foods. If you can't find something you like here, you are way too picky. The service, even though it was getting late, was very good. Friendly and helpful, which considering the volume of choices help was needed. I'm willing to give them another try because it seems they have great food and good prices.
Food was pricy but very good. Staff and server were kind of rude and absentminded.will go but get take out next time.
Worst cup of coffee I have ever had. Food was adequate. Snarky staff (not the girl who took my order). They started laughing as I left. I will be checking my bank statement to be sure they didn’t add a tip. I always try to support local. Should have gone to Burger King. I have never left a negative review on any site before. They earned this review.
My first experience with Millhouse market I ordered take out for my wife and myself. I got steak and eggs *without* peppers and onions and I was very clear about that, I picked up my order and the steak and eggs were covered with peppers mushrooms and onions… I ordered a side of eggs and sausage for my dog, that wasn’t even in the bag… paid for that and didn’t receive it. Everything was great with my wife’s order. I should have checked before I left, but I feel for $50 it should have been made correctly by the restaurant. Overall great people and great food. I would just double check your take out orders to make sure you get what you are paying for.
I really wanted to like this place because the sandwiches truly are delicious. Unfortunately, the owner’s behavior completely overshadowed the food, and after giving her three chances, I won’t spend my money there again. On our first visit, my 87-year-old father casually mentioned that he hadn’t known the place existed. The owner responded by yelling at him about how long the business has been open and listing other places she owns, leaving him feeling embarrassed and ignorant. The final straw happened during my most recent visit. I flew in from Las Vegas and wanted to take my parents, both in their 80s, to get sandwiches. Standing for long periods is difficult for them, so they sat briefly in the dining area while I ordered. They were the only customers in the restaurant at the time. They were immediately yelled at and told they could not sit there unless they ordered from the dinner menu. My father politely explained that we were ordering sandwiches and that his daughter had just flown in. The owner said it didn’t matter—if we weren’t ordering off the dinner menu, we had to leave. As a result, we were forced to eat in our car in the middle of winter. Great food does not excuse disrespectful, unkind treatment—especially toward elderly customers. The lack of compassion was shocking, and I will not return.
