What an incredible find! Despite visiting Lake George during its Summer (read: peak) season, most places close at an unusually early hour. Being a group of two families, this made things even harder in terms of finding a place that was open as well as accommodating so many of us. Luckily we called the Tokyo Steakhouse and they were superbly kind to oblige us as it was the first night in Lake George and we weren't prepared for many of the restaurants to be closed early. What transpired was a lovely evening with plenty of food to choose from and experience authentic asian flavours across the board. Service was polite and really genuine in their ways and accommodated our various specifics from vegetarian options to needing to find something for the children. Located on the Main Lake George Street, once you have parked in the ample sized parking lot, you enter an archway covered by curtains. Once inside, you see a large bar on the right, kitchen access in the background and seating across the main hall. They had a tepanyaki style grill as well in another smaller room, but it was closed by the time we reached. We ordered from an array of food bento boxes, sushi, ramen bowls and desserts. In addition, they had a very cool "goli" soda like drink which seemed to have made its way all the way from Japan! The ambience was cozy, but I would have liked a bit more lighting. (Personal choice). Overall, well worth the visit and a must visit if you are in the area.

I ordered online for pick up first time hearing of this place but I was really craving hibachi so I thought why not try it out. They made my food in 15 mins! Very welcoming and nice staff. Place looked clean and cute decor. The food smelt amazing! My 10 min drive home was torture bc it was all I could smell. Finally got home and opens the bag and they gave me a free gift. So sweet! The food is amazing! Hands down my favorite in the area. Definitely coming more often!

Review for food and service at the hibachi only. Service was great. Courteous and polite. Attentive. Food was amazing. Steak tender and masterfully prepared. The chef was amazing and the presentation was excellent. Now… Here is what I chose not to factor into my review but most people would. Cleanliness: 1⭐️ This place needs to be closed for a week and scrubbed thoroughly. I expect better from a Japanese steakhouse. Soap in the bathroom was diluted with water. Mostly water with a bit of soap - come on! Heat. Why is it so cold in here? At least there was a space heater in the bathroom but still. Please fix bathroom doors and plumbing. So, here is why i didn’t take away the star. I feel like cleanliness, heat and plumbing situation falls on the management or owner of the place, while cooking and service on the immediate staff and they were stellar. Please advise your chef to label oil and sake 😉😆😆 The cooking was a performance art. Our kids were amazed. Will be back this summer. Please clean the place up.

2023- Still good, although they were reluctant to let me order the all you can eat because nobody else in my party was going to order it. In the end they did but rudely made it clear No sharing and the waitress did bring the menu back to me to order a second time but never came back to get it, just brought the bill which I didn’t push because I ordered plenty the first time. The ceiling was dripping water very badly beside our table. 2022- still great! Now they have an all you can eat sushi option ! My wife and I went there last night for dinner. I had sushi and she had a specialty roll, and the food was absolutely spot-on! It was a Tuesday night and very few people were there and the service was outstanding. I would hope that it was the same way on a busy Friday night. I highly recommend. Definitely will be going back and checking this place out on a busy weekend night.

We went for lunch and everything was fantastic. 2 adults and 2 kids, everyone found something they loved. Food was fresh and the service was friendly and very fast. Even had a nice cocktail with the meal that was perfectly executed. One of our new favorite spots!

Pleasantly surprised. We were concerned when we arrived at opening for a five PM reservation and there was only one car in the lot. We had a great hibachi experience. The food was great, the entertainment was fun and the drinks were strong. They do a happy hour hibachi from 3-6 every day, it's almost half price.

Over six months ago we went to this place (twice) when we were visiting Queensbury for The Great Escape and I still remember the wonderful experience. The outside of the building is underwhelming, but it's interior is lovely and spacious. It has a nice cozy atmosphere and pleasant ambiance; the music they played was nice as well. There's a normal dining option, a bar, and hibachi, but we opted for a regular table. The staff there are friendly and we felt welcome. It seemed like they had both Japanese and Chinese options. The first time we went there was for dinner and I ordered orange chicken; honestly it was the best orange chicken I've ever ordered from a Japanese/ Chinese place. We also went there for lunch and had another great quality meal, though I wasn't a big fan of the particular sushi I had ordered. This place has great portions and great quality food and service - I highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious food. Worth the try. We had as appetizers seaweed salad and sexy jalapenos 🤤👌🏻we had mushroom soup too, but it was disappointing (chicken broth simple as it is).As main entrees; Yakisaba Noodles Tokyo and Udon noodles Tokyo. Freshness+++ Taste+++. We arrived late (8h45, they close at 10h) and we felt we had to rush to finish our meals 🫤. Also, the restaurant have definitely a japanese vibe as decoration 👌🏻Nice experience overall🍜

Do NOT let the exterior of this place fool you.... The interior was fine... The food was awesome and plentiful, never been so full leaving a hibachi.... The service was great, waitresses were attentive and quick, our chef was solid entertainment, typical of hibachis.... the steaks and scallops and rice and chicken and shrimp were so sooooo good! We had a great time there with our group of 7.

They have an all-you-can-eat deal for adults as well as children. Just make sure to eat everything, as they charge full price for anything that wasn't consumed. Service was prompt and efficient. The food was fresh and tasted great. It was also plated beautifully. The reason I docked 2 stars was because we finished our meal at 2:50 in order to be charged for lunch. It took them 15 minutes to present our bill. This was done on purpose so they could charge us the dinner price instead. I was pretty annoyed about it but everything else was great.

I can tell that this place is new, not a lot of customer when we visited on a friday night. Price is a bit expensive, but I guess a lot of Japanese restaurant charge premium for their food. The Ramen was ok... not what I was used to. The bone broth used taste closer to instant ramen and was a bit salty, but the pork taste great. The noodles were ok. We ordered a couple of dish and I could say they were ok... nothing special. I guess we should have tried their sushi and sashimi because most review said the fish was fresh. The place was clean and looks really nice. But between the price and just average food, I think I will pass.

Absolutely ridiculous. We were there for over two hours. Ordered twice for all you can eat. Missed a bunch of food. A table was there for 30 minutes and got what they ordered right away. The whole time we were there we got our waters filled twice. We understand that they were busy but they were NOT that busy. Waited 45 minutes for our salads even. Once I asked for the check and went to complain the ladies walked away from me and didn’t even let me finish a single sentence. Lady came with the check and was arguing me with me. I asked for someone else to talk to and she basically said no.

Deeply disturbed and disgusted after receiving my DoorDash order tonight. I had discovered a thick black hair cooked into this meal I had treated myself to buying as it was an expensive order. after already eating one unknowingly. I feel sick and I will not be ordering again.

Cannot tell if new reviews are paid for or what the deal is…. Wasted 90$ on lunch we could not eat. Chicken Hibachi was horrid, salad was old and inedible as was produce in the soup. Sushi is made with plain white rice, the fakest wasabi that is neon green in appearance. Nothing was redeemable about our experience, we had tried when they first opened and it seems to have gotten no better
