We have dined at Trattoria la Nonna several times in the past, once when a storm knocked the power out at our BnB but the lights were on at Nonna's. Their pizza selection is fabulous but this time we opted for other dishes. The Bolognese sauce is excellent and recommended. This family run establishment is homey without the kitsch, excellent and personal service. There's a warmth in this place. Go there.

Great place for authentic Italian food. Sometimes there is music too. Twice we have seen women guitar players. The owner often comes out to greet customers and take orders.

Great food. Attentive service. Both manager/owner and server spoke fluent English. Good prices. Although there are no bells and whistles, this hole in the wall restaurant makes tasty meals that can accommodate a date night or family outing!

The staff was really nice and it was relaxing just to sit on the patio. The food was fine - nothing out of this world or entirely authentic Italian, but tasty and warm.

Staff were polite. Pizza crust similar to a hard rock. Combinata ingredients poor. Carbonara very salty, simple cheese. Pasta cook was good. Plates were removed before we were finished. We did not enjoy the experience.

Fettuccine a la carbonara was overcooked, chopped into 3-inch lengths, gummy and too peppery. Accompanied by dried bread with a bit of regrettable herbs. Much of the lettuce in the side salad had seen better days. The naranjada was fine, but didn't come until I followed up.

Food was mediocre we had pasta carbonara which is usually a rich buttery pasta with lots of cheese bacon and egg, theirs was dull and flavourless. We also had ensalada de mar which was iceberg lettuce with very little seafood the squid was tough, maybe not a good choice for a place so far from the ocean. There was an annoying smoke alarm whose battery needs changing beeping loudly throughout dinner.
