This is one of my favorite places for Teriyaki. Their food is very consistent. My favorite is the short ribs which are on the pricier side but, are just too good to ignore. I just wish you could get extra meat on that plate. As the only thing I feel like would make it better is just having more. They also have sushi which is always satisfying but, I generally find their rolls less interesting than the Teriyaki.
Top notch flavor, quantity and friendly service. If you are hungry and want something quick and tasty come here! Nice area with lots to see. Highly recommend!
Rarely do review this food was soooooooooo yummy!
What a great restaurant! The portions are big. It's not too expensive and it's delicious! I was a little worried when I first saw it but I legit said "Wow!" After my first bite. Would highly recommend. Keep in mind for picky eaters (aka kids) they put sauce on the CA roll.
My brother has been bringing home food from here for a few months and some of the reviews here about the quality of food are astounding and silly. Everytime I've eaten here the quality has been consistent which is the first grade of what makes a good restaurant. To me if my meat doesn't have a small char with the flavors of the day's cooking I wonder why I'm eating at a restaurant in the first place. And yes the sauce is sweeter than some places but it has depth and hits the spot. The orange is not just for decoration, it will bring out some of the flavors you may have missed if you're reading this. It's easy to park and walk around even if they are full there, it's in a pleasant area. The most affordable in that area and a few years ago it was my go to because they are faster than the other options around so perfect for a lunch break. The tempura is my favorite though. Fantastic, hot, flavorful, and consistent every time I've had it. And I havent even had the tempura without a waiting period from delivery yet.
I got the 3 item plate with steamed rice, salad, broccoli, and teriyaki chicken. It was delicious and a generous portion of food. The prices were slightly higher than most restaurants for lunchtime but still worth it.
I used to live near by, and I work near by, so I still come here. about Once a Month, I get the 1 Plate , Teriyaki Chicken it's Served over White rice and then a small salad and 1 slice of orange to cleanse your pallet at the end. They used to give an extra cup of Sauce if you asked, and now they charge for it. I will probably come back for more. , OK.. I will come back for more. Keep up the good food.
One of my favorite places to eat. Never had any issues. The food always tastes great, especially the fried sesame chicken! The seafood noodle plate is also really good! Don't be scared to try that. I highly recommend this place!
When I get the urge to eat a good tempura meal or teriyaki combination dishes or a sushi roll, I head here. It's casual, easy on the wallet, clean and friendly. Since it's take out only now due to California orders, I put my order in online and it was ready by the time I arrived. Menu is varied enough to meet all my family tastes. Easy parking in the rear.
One of my favorite spots for teriyaki is here. Their meal is consistently good. My favorite dish is short ribs, which are more expensive but simply too delicious to pass up. I only wish there was more meat on that plate. As having more is the only thing I believe would improve it. They also provide sushi, which is always satisfying, but generally speaking, I find the Teriyaki to be more intriguing than the rolls.
It’s a nice place for lunch. Food tastes great and you will go back to your office with a scent of grilled meat like when attending a bbq event. There is a large variety of items to choose from the menu. Good thing they didn’t drown the beef with teriyaki sauce. It had plenty applied but additional was provided in a side container.
This is the best spicy honey, chicken and teriyaki beef, and California roll that we’ve ever had from I love teriyaki
I daughter lived the teriyaki chicken and my son loved the sushi!

There cabbage has red pepper flake in it unlike other I love T. I have been to. It was good but if you were expecting the eegular sweet cabbage it will be a real shock lol lol.
Being a creature of habit i eat here at the minimum once a week. I also order the same thing every time. #11 ( Teriyaki Beef & Teriyaki Pork with all Rice). I have never gotten sick or had any bad experience here. The Staff has always been welcoming and friendly to me. The only reason why I did not give them 5 stars is because the only thing that's ever on the TV is soccer over Baseball, Basketball, or Football. (Yes! I love sports). Now this is nothing more then my family and my own personal experience. I don't agree with some of the harsh reviews but it is just their own opinion and experiences.
Customer service could be better, and the tempura shrimp could be crispier/hotter/ more fresh. Lots of room for improvement but keep it up guys! I'll hang in there a little longer and think I'll give this place another shot UPDATE: changing from 2 stars to 4. Ordered again tonight (3/27/2020) right before they closed and tried the tempura shrimp plate again and asked for extra crispy. Idk who's working tonight but THANKS FOR LISTENING this time. Very satisfied reviewer. ❤️ New favorite
Finally got to visit this place which I was planning on going to for a while. The food quality is good and the people working there are super helpful and friendly.
Good place. Minus a star as the last two times I’ve been, the chicken had black char specks that I had to remove by hand…like the grill wasn’t cleaned before.

I got the chicken teriyaki plate and it was good. The chicken was not dry and the sauce was good. The small salad was terrible though. I barely ate it because it was sour. Overall, would come here again.
This was my very first visit to "I love Teriyaki". I had planned on having something else for lunch but, it was closed. I walked into the restaurant and was greeted by a young man behind the counter. I thought it was nice to see the menu very large on the wall. Easy for someone who wants to take-out. The establishment is nice and was very clean. I don't think I would have stayed because it was very hot inside. Almost as hot as it was outside. I think this restaurant needs better ventilation. That was my only issue. I ordered the Folsom Lake. It was VERY GOOD and the presentation was also very good. I will be going back to get this sushi roll again and getting it for take-out. Enjoy!

We briefly ate here after a meeting I had down the road. The food was alright. Nothing that would make me come back or mention to a friend but also wasn’t a bad experience. They used dark meat on the $8.99 chicken teriyaki plate (comes with grilled chicken, rice, little iceberg salad, orange slice, cup of sauce). All of the items were good but nothing justified the prices. Rice and salad are so cheap. It doesn’t cost that much to them. It was 5 bucks to get extra meat if you decided you needed more. Like what? The soft drinks were $2.75 so we passed on those. That’s so overpriced. So you know how much those fountain drinks actually cost them? Try like 5 cents a customer. The portions were medium sized. They weren’t generous but I would say probably average sized if you were paying like 6 or 7 bucks for a plate. I don’t like overpriced food unless it’s like the absolute best quality and service you’ve ever had.
This place has really gone down hill since my last visit and I told myself I'd rather drive all the way to North Natomas to visit Teriyaki Time than eat here. Yes I understand the price to food is going up that isn't the issue. Any place like this that I have been to, charges for extra sauce, yes. This place it use to be 25c then 2 years ago it went up to 50c then last year it went up to 75c and now it's $1 for extra sauce (that's not even filled up to the top) WHAT.... who charges that much for sauce that should just come with the food that is extremely high already do to costs going up.. I'm almost paying more for extra sauce then what a meal costs here. That ain't right and is price gouging...
The noodle plates are significantly over priced. $15.99 plus tax for a cup of rice and a small portion of noodles. The food is good but your going to spend $20 for a plate and feel underwhelmed and probably hungry when your done. The original location off Coloma Road used to give significantly larger portion sizes. Not sure if that is still true.
This is the most inept example of this business model I have ever seen. We came here. Ordered 3 chicken plates and went outside to make business calls. When we went back in 15 minutes later to check on our order they had sold it a second time to someone else. They argued internally for 5 minutes. Scolded us for leaving and remade our plates, rudely, and without teriyaki sauce. Surprisingly bad. If you like train wrecks pop in.
Not the same! The portions were not what I remember. The comforting feeling, the flavor. Everything was too sweet. The noodles were chewy, and just didn't taste great. The meal with the drink was close to 20 dollars. I know more places that could do better. I wont go here again. Period!
I actually love. I love Teriyaki brand. I get the serve sushi. I don't eat it. That's ok they have it to me. What bortherd me. I didn't know that it wasn't. A real I Love Teriyaki place. I ordered as it was like all the other ones. First time at this one & I get my food thinking it was the same great food. I grabbed my order & and knew how light it was off. So I opened it luckily be for I left. Way different than all the rest. If I know that it was not the same. I could have decided if I wanted it or not before I paid for it. I thought maybe I got it wrong. So I looked it up & I wasn't. Just had sushi add to the name. Smaller plate size & only chicken & rice not charged. All other items changed. Dive time and payment done & had to look in to find out. I'm not saying not to go there. Just so you know, it not the same brand. It is name only it a Teriyaki & Sushi spot. FYI..
This place used to be so good. Have not gone here as much due to the insane increase in prices. But hey, I though the food was great so why not give it another try... did not think they wouldn't retain food quality after the price increase. My favorite Spicy Crunch Roll is now nothing more than a California Roll with extra rice... I can understand the price increase, but to decrease ingredients as well is just unacceptable. 16.99 for all that rice. Still gave 2 stars for some of the teriyaki choices are still good. I remember this being a busy place in the past... such a waste.
How is half a plate of noodles and a scoop of rice $18?!! The noodles were extremely spicy for being mild and I felt robbed for what I was given. The server also didn't acknowledge I was there until I said something despite standing at the counter. Not a place I would come back too and can get so much more for much cheaper.
My worst purchase there. It's been several months since my last one, same item. I don't know what's changed but I won't be back for at least several months. I got the noodles beef teriyaki. Horrible! I took a picture of the menu
Food is good, but the portions are soo tiny I laighed when I opened the box😅 The other locations, such as the roseville one by the auto mall, will make your jaw drop!😲 They're overflowing with noodles and meats and rice!🤤 Here, I got the veggie plate and tho it costs more it has smaller amounts of noodles compared to the meaty plates..

SCAM alert. They add tips to your bank charge days after you leave. You will see a correct amount pending but three days later they add in a tip that was never authorized. The cashier took my payment and gave me a receipt without signing or giving any option for a tip. I didn't sit a a table to be waited on and I picked up my order like McDonald's or Burger King so I don't think a tip was earned. I talked to an employee who phoned the manager and said they would refund the tip in 7 to 10 days which never happened. I'm affected by Covid-19 too but I don't go around cheating people.
This one on Zinfandel is horrible. We usually go to the one on Sunrise. Big mistake changing it up. I order $85 worth of food to feed my family since my daughter was sick and I didn't have time to cook. Got there, ordered. Asked if the teriyaki sauce was in the bag. Told it was went all the way home and guess what, no sauce. Called and talked to the manager. He made it right by giving me a free kids teriyaki chicken dish but I had to drive in and wait. I had also ordered my older son a spicy tuna roll for when he got home from working. Come to find out it was a California roll instead. Horrible and I will not be back to this location.
Honestly used to love this place, I went yesterday and it was disgusting. The last 3 times I’ve gone the quality has been progressively worse. Customer service sucks, it takes a really long time to get your food, portions are bad, and seriously can’t believe how much the quality as declined. The rice was mushy and sticky, really gross texture. Chicken also gross texture and honestly seemed old. I threw it away. If im spending $20 on terryaki it should be enjoyable man! These are seriously like $9.00 plates of food and they charge closer to $20, and the quality and cleanliness has seemed to go down substantially. Personally would steer clear.
The food isn’t very good, the kid working the counter doesn’t really know what he’s doing. I had 2 sushi rolls and mixed tempura. If the sushi rolls tasted better they wouldn’t have to drown them with sauce on top. The mixed tempura was ok but was served with cold dipping sauce. I let the kid at the counter know I wanted to eat the food there and the kitchen staff boxed up my rolls and the kid just said sorry but didn’t offer to put my rolls on a plate. The food is overpriced, not good and the service was just as bad. I won’t be going back and would not recommend this place.
My daughter and myself went there about 2 and a 1/2 months ago. I still remember the lack luster plate of food we ordered. We're from North Highlands and we're use to the I ❤ Teriyaki in Natomas and thought this one would be just as good. We were highly disappointed with what we received however the sushi was fantastic. I don't recommend this place for the noodle plates but, the sushi is the 💣bomb.
I received the worse customer service you can imagine today. The cashier was very unfriendly and unhappy! I have food allergies and food sensitivity, asked her if they use MSG, and she pretended she did know what I was talking about. When I asked for the third time, she said yes. I ordered one meal for take out for my dad who was with me. I asked for a cup of water, she gave me a large cup used for dine in. I asked for a disposable cup that I could take out and she said we don’t have those. Lol…I wonder what they use for their take out soda drinks?
This location is pricier than other locations. Their portions are smaller and the soft drinks are $3. They also intentionally give you a small teriyaki sauce so they can charge you 50¢ for extra. I’m surprised they don’t charge for napkins. Then they expect a tip for ordering and picking up your own order. Will not come back to this location. 🤑
Ordered takeout for the first time in awhile. Used to be one of my favorite spots but not anymore. The price of the meal went up $4.00 and was basically inedible. Chicken was dry and disgusting. $70.00 family dinner wasted. I will never eat here again.
I had placed an order for the chicken teriyaki play was just roast on door dash being a new mom I love the convenience of it being so much easier for door dash. So for the last three or four months I’ve been using door Dash and I haven’t eaten since I woke up so when I received my lunch I was super hungry and excited I took maybe two bites and then under the very top layer of the chicken there was a 2 to 3 inch black hair in my food. It definitely looks oriental or Asian it’s definitely very course and thick it’s not like a fine hair anything. When I called for a refund they didn’t have anything to say except door dash will take care of it.
Food was over seasoned too much pepper and garlic. Chicken was old overcooked, and dry. I got the noodle plate not many noodles disappointed to say the least
Ordered the chicken teriyaki plate online for pick up. I got home and there was double rice and no salad. I was very disappointed. I made no changes when I placed the order also.
First time ordering at this location & I'm really disappointed. Don't think I'll come back to this location anymore. I ordered the combination plate & the portion size for the Spicy Chicken was sad. I literally got 7 pieces. Especially for the price, I would think you'd get a little more. Paid almost $20. I don't think it's worth it.
Sushi was disgusting and covered with insane amounts of mayo and Siracha. Took about half an hour to get food and came in huge styrofoam containers for each individual item (for dine-in).

Everything was really good until the next day. Me and my husband went and ate there for the first time and the next day we got food poisoning. We have not left the toilet.
Spent $50 on take out for 2 plates and a kids meal. Got home and one box was missing the grilled chicken, plus all the boxes were missing the teriyaki sauce. No way of getting help as I live far from this restaurant.
This has to be the worst looking sushi I have ever witnessed. Don't bother. Cant believe they charged me $31 for what looked like brown fake fish that I couldn't even identify. I ordered a spicy tuna and rainbow roll.
the rolls are terribly prepared. they all fall apart. they are also not tasty. I recommend trying them at sunrise i love teriyaki, where they are prepared at the highest level
