Nemo Sushi, formerly Samurai, is a popular AYCE sushi restaurant known for fresh fish, generous portions, and friendly service. The Lion King Roll, King King Roll, and Ichiban Roll are highly recommended. Some find the service slow when busy.

Tip: Go early, especially after 5 PM, as the place fills up quickly. Be aware that kids above 9 are charged full price for AYCE.

The food is very fresh. The service is especially attentive, and we really enjoyed Jacob and Jun specifically. We were all impressed with the variety offered on the menu. The price is fair considering what you get. Four of us shared 22 items (four miso soups counted as one item). They also offer off-the-menu ordering, so we weren't all required to pay for the AYCE, but we did. :)
Well, this place is now my favorite place to go. Quality is very very good; for all you can eat it is outstanding and gets 5 stars on that basis. Sashimi is included, rolls, nigiri, miso, edamame, specialty rolls, basically everything with very very few exceptions is included (for example oysters and drinks are an add-on). Service? Best in the area. Can I say that? These guys know what they are doing. Super fast, checking on us often, quick quick turnaround, basically wanting to bring us the next order. Our guy and his team were incredible. Pricing. Compared to literally anywhere else and what you get for your money, the best. Atmosphere? Place was clean, didn’t smell, no cardboard boxes hanging around in the corner. They didn’t change decor from the last place because they didn’t need to. We had to wait about 10 mins for a table. They should open the bar area by door for drinks. They should get more beers on tap. Maybe work on atmosphere a little bit. If I’m honest they could up their price by $10pp and still lead the pack. Anyway, I’m happy to recommend them. PS you don’t have to get AYCE, you can order à la carte just like a regular sushi restaurant.
My husband and I had our eye on this place for a while. We used to go to a sushi spot in Roseville that we really liked, but it was a bit too far, so we finally decided to give this place a try and we’re so glad we did. The service was friendly overall. [I'll say service was 4.5 😉] We’ve visited twice so far. Both time, it took a little while for someone to come take our order when we were first seated, but once the initial order was placed, everything moved very smoothly and quickly. After that, there were no delays, and the food came out promptly. The sushi and sashimi were very fresh, and the rolls were great. The Spicy Ninja and Hamachi Lava were especially delicious! [the wasabi sauce was so yummy!😍] This place will definitely be our new favorite sushi spot 👍
Narumi Sushi was surprisingly tasty, pretty fresh, nice rice to topping ratio, toasty hot fried ingredients and quick service. The waiter came back several times to ask if we wanted anything else - which we did. Unfortunately I was so busy eating and tasting, I forgot to take photos of everything we ate.... We ordered miso soup, I-80 roll (very good), tonkatsu, smoked salmon nigiri (awesome), ebi Nigiri, tobiko Nigiri (I didn't like this one - artificial taste), king Kong roll (I didn't like this one - cashew powdered, yucky white sauce), seaweed salad, several hand rolls. We got our monies worth - just not many photos....
Some of the freshest fish I've had recently. Really good quality of fish and a pretty extensive AYCE menu. Servers seemed a bit understaffed and couldn't come back to retake our order as fast as we would want so it made the 3 item order at a time rule annoying. But overall very positive experience. Staff was very friendly and trying to be quick.
I was flabbergasted by how high the quality of fish here was. It is significantly better than a lot of other AYCE and non AYCE sushi restaurants I've been to in the greater Sacramento area. The hamachi and albacore especially were top tier. I would probably just get my money's worth on sashimi and the "fish salads". I also love that you can tell them how many pieces of sashimi you want instead of it being a set amount so that it's easier for you to try all the different options. I've also never seen hamachi kama being served at AYCE, and it was small and slightly over cooked but overall still very good. However, if you're not a fan of super sweet dishes, I would skip out on kalbi, salmon skin handroll, agedashi tofu (idk why the sauce for this was sweet), and probably the teriyaki items (didn't try it but my guess is this one is extremely sweet too). We went on Monday night, and it was pretty empty so we had no wait time. The server was very kind and was neither rushing us or ignoring us at any point like how some AYCE places do. He was very attentive and got us napkin water without us saying anything. All of our orders came very quickly too. This was our first time coming here, so I can't speak to its consistency in quality but I am sincerely hoping that it is always this good. 10/10 will return.
My husband and I just love Japanese food, when we found this place ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI we weren't sure how it would be. And it was 💥💥 the fish just has a fresh and delicious flavor, so many options, everything tastes delicious, the service really good. If you're driving by Sacramento and highly recommend stopping there and just enjoy it, you will have a great time. They have a UBE ice cream and it was a bomb 💣.. I can't wait to go back to this place!!
Newly opened as a sushi buffet. Wow, their nigiri has some fat slices of fish and not too much rice, and their rolls are so delicious! I highly recommend the King King roll, and hubby suggests trying the ichiban roll, too. I'm allergic to avocado, and these guys were so accommodating. My new favorite sushi (and buffet) spot in the Sacramento area. 😍
Narumi Sushi is one of the best AYCE Japanese Sushi restaurants I have tried. They have excellent Sushi Rolls and delicious appetizer items, and the best thing I like is that the Sashimis are included in the dinner AYCE menu. The service is fast, and all the workers are very friendly. The dining room is spotless and comfortable. I am sure I’ll be there again soon!
Narumi Sushi Definitely still looks like good Ol’ Samurai inside because it looks like the new owner hit the ground running. And why not? People need a Good Sushi restaurant around this area! We were seated immediately a little after 5, but the place filled up within 15 minutes. The sushi, sashimi and cooked food were all better than expected. I been to a lot of AYCE places and normally fish slices are super thin, it’s not the case here. Sashimi were fresh, good sizes, nigiri’s were not trimmed down, so many options! I love the option to add Amaebi, Fresh Osyters, Uni, and Blue Fin at a decent price. The Garlic seasoned nigiri all were delicious. I don’t think I ate anything bad tonight. The deserts can be a bit bigger than sushi size. But they do allow you to order as much as you can eat. Leo our waiter was Wonderful and was on top of it. The dishes didn’t take too long, it was typical for a busy night. I will definitely come back for more! **Don’t forget to follow me on IG and Yelp for more great foodie places to check out Follow... @Only1ChristineLu **
Delicious food, excellent service and a very pleasant atmosphere makes this one of my favorite restaurants in Folsom. The Lion King Roll is absolutely delicious! Rich, cheesy flavor is just perfect. It’s a unique taste with the perfect balance of creamy and savory. Highly recommend it — you’ll definitely want more after the first bite!
We eat here all the time and this is my first post -- because -- they really upped their game! This was some next level sushi. Complex flavors, unique sauces, beautiful presentation. A photo is worth 1000 words in this case. I really appreciated the new and special effort. The service is always friendly. The restaurant has some nice artwork happening. But these rolls blew me away!
Decent place for sushi. We've come here before when it was Samarai. There was 4 of us last night and 3 went for the all you can eat for $36ea. You figure 2 rolls at $14 each, the all you can eat is a deal. You get numerous appetizers, nigiri, tempura shrimp, sashimi, rolls etc. Jacob our waiter was way cool but the service was somewhat slow because of the Friday night crowd
Overall a great experience! The all you can eat is a good choice, tons of menu items to choose from. From appetizers, sashimi, rolls, specialty rolls to desert. I hadn't been in there since it was Samurai, and they have done inteterior remodeling, the separated booths are nice. Full bar and the cocktails we ordered were good, an Old Fashioned and a Long Island iced tea, both flavorful and didn't skimp on the alcohol. Service was friendly, but spotty but it was approaching the "busy hour" I would definitely return.
This is the best All You can eat sushi in the land. I have to say that the Nigiri and Sashimi were phenomenal, rice to meat ratio was perfect. And fresh!!!!!! The Garlic Hamachi and Shiro Albacore is Soo good! Saba Nigiri, Sake Roe, Flying fish roe, Taco Sunimono, all the Nigiri awesome! Hand rolls are excellent! Softshell crab appetizer and Octopus Karrage magnifico! All the sushimi salads Soo tasty with the ponzu and light sauces. Very traditional with the proportions! Not over sauced. Not over riced. Just right. Rolls were great! We only got two, the Lion King needed a drizzle of unagi or teriyaki after baking to help keep the roll from sticking to the foil, and needed just a tiny bit more scallions, but it was super flavor, and the Lincoln Hills roll was really good but needed just a tad more sauce to open the flavor of the roll. Next time we would love to try out the house roll. Our wait staff were awesome! The young man and young lady taking our orders were smiling and very polite! All the Chefs looked happy and busy at work. Great experience and look forward to returning!
Tried it out today. Ordered the Benson special roll and it came out not what I expected (brown soupy pic). Visually not appealing but was surprisingly delicious (contains peanuts). My companions enjoyed their meals, but the crazy monkey roll (simple roll with the soy sauce tray in pic) was stated to be a bit on the mushy side. The Folsom and the Titanic (double roll plate pic) was a hit and nicely displayed. I forgot what the last dish was, but it was said it was good. Our server was young and very friendly. Not a fancy place and a bit pricey for the simplicity of the plate. Environment has potential.
A little over a week ago, my husband and I came into this restaurant for I believe the fourth time. All of our other times at the restaurant were great, we enjoyed our experience, and so we expected the same that time. Unfortunately, the masago tasted off on this specific day, in comparison to the other times that we had eaten there. We did let our server know and they kind of just told us that we were wrong, which wasn't appreciated but not an issue necessarily. We weren't comfortable even finishing our first round of the ayce specials, so we weren't stoked about the prospect of paying the full price; they offered on their own to comp the meal. We decided to chalk it up to just one bad experience and today we went in there to try again, because the majority of our experiences there had been good, but the moment we walked in to the nearly empty restaurant, a server recognized us and came to the front to let us know that they were not interested in serving us because we didn't enjoy their food last time. We asked for confirmation of that, he walked away and when he came back he said the manager and the owner had said to refuse service. My husband asked to speak to the manager so we could get some clarification on it, and he blatantly refused to speak to my husband, the server citing alanguage barrier, which could easily be worked around with modern technology meaning translators in our pocket at all times. Honestly, it was incredibly off-putting, and I am incredibly taken aback the lack of professionalism. In my experience it is the job of the supervisor on duty to deal with customers, and I think that it's ridiculous that they wouldn't talk to us, even to refuse service as a manager instead of through a server. Would have given them another chance to make up for our bad experience previously, but this experience has left a terrible taste in our mouths and we will be letting people know.
Terrible food. If I could give it a minus I would. Too much spice, couldn't even taste the seafood they covered it with a hot spicey coating. The crab and oysters were really tiny. The Resturant wasn't full and we waited a long time to be seated. Terrible customer service. The atmosphere was like a disco lounge too bright. It was much better when Samurai sushi was there. Too expensive nearly a100$ for some tiny oyster's, two tiny crabs and one roll.
