I was absolutely wowed by the authenticity and quality of this place, as there's not too many Chinese bbq and dim sum locations in the area so when I come to visit the options are limited but this was my first time going and immediately when you walk in you're immediate greeted with a clean and upscale environment, as well as friendly hosts. The time in between my party being seated and ordering and food coming out was relatively quick and I had no complaints about any dish we ordered. I wish I could say I remembered everything on the table, however the quality and quantity of each dish exceeded all expectations. It's definitely a place I'll be coming back to when I'm around the area, and I recommend all to give this place a try!

I can only comment on the dim sum. It was phenomenal. The servings were huge, hot, and tasty. We only ordered 4 things, and we couldn't finish the dim sum we ordered.. Take home was the option. The sweetened green tea was light, flavorful, and i could'nt get enough of it. (Free refills) There was a 15-20 minute wait, but it was worth it!!!! try it out!!

The food is really good, and very reasonably priced. We've been coming here since they opened and we love their food. The only complaint I have is every time we come they never have the HK-style crab anymore!!!!!!! Please bring it back it was our favorite!

Very good restaurant, very good executed dishes, special dishes! Friendly staff and the prices are good for the amount of food served. Hands down one of favorite restaurant these days. The food is outstanding. So many great things to choose from. Peking duck with bun and lobster are always a must.

China Republic is a dim sum and Chinese food restaurant a little bit off the highway, but totally worth the drive. They have an extremely large menu, the pricing is good, the portions are pretty big and the flavors are fantastic. Half a duck at $27 you'd think would be bad duck, but it was super juicy with crispy skin. Cream cheese wonton, garlic green beans, cucumber salad, dumplings and hum bao were all really good. I'd say the only disappointment was the chow fun noodles which we wouldn't get again, but definitely Italy would come here again in the future.

Food was sooo good. Dont go around 3-4pm bc service would be quite slow tho. I got Siumai, truffle beef(doesnt taste any truffle), snowpea, pork pastry, spicy pork and fried fish. They all soooo good and come in big portion.

My family and I were craving some dim sum and China Republic seems to be the only restaurant in the IE area that offers it! One thing I will note is that they are quite expensive compared to other dim sum restaurants we’ve tried. I believe their dishes range from $5+ per plate which is pretty pricey but if you don’t want to drive out to Rowland heights, OC or LA - this is your only option. Their food is good though! We tried all the standard dim sum dishes: Steam char sui bal, custard tarts, Custard buns, sesame buns etc. everything tasted great! Unfortunately they were out of the baked char sui buns, which are my favorite. But all the food we did try was delicious! Just expensive.

Clean, modern, upscale, and authentically Chinese—these are the best words to describe China Republic. My friends and I keep coming back for their top-notch Chinese cuisine, generous portions perfect for sharing, and a classy ambiance that elevates the dining experience. We kicked off our meal with spicy jellyfish (medium-spiced), cucumber salad, and fish maw crab meat soup—a fresh and flavorful start. For the mains, you can never go wrong with their honey walnut shrimp, a crispy and creamy delight, while the BBQ Combination Platter featuring duck and pork belly is simply mouthwatering. If you're craving quality Chinese food in an upscale setting, China Republic in Rancho Cucamonga should be on your list.

China Republic is a beautifully-decorated restaurant offering a variety of specialty dishes in Rancho Cucamonga. I’ve dined here 4 times now and can give a fair review based on my experiences here. LOCATION China Republic is conveniently located on Foothill Blvd. just east of the 15 freeway. It is easy to find as the restaurant faces the main street and is close to the freeway. PARKING There are plenty of parking spaces around the plaza. Just be careful walking across to the restaurant, as some cars tend to zoom fast near the plaza entrance. INSIDE I love the simple decor here. Love the contrast of the white and espresso brown columns, and accents of blue. It just has a very desirable atmosphere as it’s different from most Chinese restaurants around the Inland Empire. It is also very spacious and there are plenty of sections, including rooms to rent for private parties, a bar area, and the regular dinning area. FOOD & SPECIAL DIETARY ACCOMMODATIONS Each time I visited, the servers were very attentive with our food allergies and were able to omit nuts, as well as offer suggestions that would suit our dietary needs. That was very much appreciated. SPECIAL EVENT During my last visit here, I coordinated a family event for about 30 people in their private room. Our guests were coming from different cities, including the birthday celebrant from out-of-state. The service was wonderful during dinner and all of our guests enjoyed the food. FOOD Some of the dishes we enjoyed were the following: * Eggplant with Garlic Sauce - Very good! The eggplant wasn’t too mushy and had a good appearance. * Beef Steak French Style - A family favorite. We loved the tender beef and how buttery it was! * Pork Chop with Spicy Salt - What a treat! I usually don’t go for fried pork chop but they really know how to make this well. Thinly sliced yet crispy and not dry. * Beef Chow Fun - This was okay; it tasted like any other chow fun I’ve had. * Honey Glazed Walnut Shrimp - I didn’t try this but it seemed to be popular with our guests. * Young Chow Fried Rice - I didn’t get to try this either but the kids liked this. * Shu Mai (Dim Sum) - Skip. I’ve had better. * Hot Braised String Beans - One of my favorite side dishes and this one did not disappoint. The beans were perfectly blistered and delicious! * Singapore Style Noodle Soup - I didn’t get to try this since it had seafood. WHEELCHAIRS / WALKERS / STROLLERS The restaurant is very spacious and should be easy to get around for those that need the space. Overall, each visit was pleasant and the service for our last private event here turned out well. Thank you, China Republic!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant whenever I’m in the area for several years now. Located in a sizable shopping center, so lots of parking available. It’s nice to have decent dim sum available in the area. Not a huge selection, but most of them are pretty good. Their regular dishes are also very tasty. I’ve always had great service here. During busy hours and on the weekends it can get pretty loud inside. This place definitely deserves your patronage.

Strangest Grey Goose vodka,!!! Save your dollars don't order!! Service sporadic! No your usual Cantonese, Mandarin, Schezuan, not sure what it is so whether you like what you get is personal. Preference is Cantonese or Mandarin so just a word of caution for those persons looking for the forgoing styles. Kung pao chicken over sauced, very sweet with heavy brown sauce; chicken egg flower soup good; fried rice ok. Been here 5,+ times hoping to see up change. Not yet! Prices a bit high, portions balanced to price. Recommendation: Give it a try and see for yourself!

We ordered a BBQ platter for $58 and were NOT pleased... The chicken and ribs were cut with the bones still inside so we encountered lots of bone fragments and sharp ends... The regular salad shown in the menu was not included and only the seaweed salad came out with the meal. The wontons had a freezer burned flavor. The waitress never came out to check for refills. The pork belly slices and the duck had good flavor but part of our order never arrived. The atmosphere was nice but I don't intend to ever go back
