I had the grilled chicken salad and some fries. Fries are always fresh and salad had yummy, crisp lettuce and veggies. Chicken was also tender. The ranch always has a weird taste to me, but I am not a big fan of takeout ranch or any salad dressing for matter. But I always love the Habit. It never steers me wrong!

One of the best burgers I've ever had! The onion rings are perfect with just enough batter on them. I also love their drinks including the strawberry limeade. You have to try it at least once. Once you do, you'll be back for more!

This burger joint is on point! We have noticed on the several occasions we've been there how clean the establishment is. The food is awesome (sorry in n out) and the manager works hard. So far this location has been great. Staff is very helpful and keep themselves busy cleaning the dining area. Condiment bar is usually well stocked and clean as is the restroom. Hope this location stays clean, unlike the North upland store.

Menu is straightforward. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, sides, drinks, shakes. The interior is beautifully designed with a full view of the kitchen. Quality is great and consistent. No wonky lettuces and lopsided tomatoes and onions in your burgers. No excessive sauce in sandwiches. I do find it to be a bit pricey. A cheeseburger costs more than an In-n-Out double double, but that's just me.

Simply amazing fresh great tasting food. Everything I've tried is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I once inquired about a menu item and they told me that if I ordered it and I didn't like it, they help me get something else. I thought that was exceptional service. The curbside pick is so fast and organized. I highly recommend the Habit.

The smell from this place is probably one of the best parts. They have the classic burgers shakes, fries and drinks. I usually order these when I go as they make arguably one of the best burgers. The reason I always go back is because it is keto friendly. I love the double char burger bun less in a bowl. It's the best option when I do not want a messy burger experience.

Got a veggie burger it was pritty good. Went for the sesame seed bun and asked for no butter on the bun. Apparently the sesame seed bun already goes with out the butter so that was great. They put in some honey dressing I had to have them remake the burger, being vegan they had to remake it but were really nice about it. I've never had a burger with cucumber in it. That was something different but not bad at all. I loved it. It didn't take like it was grilled on a beef grill. For my first ti me at habit. I was being satisfied. Not to mention the jalapenos and banana peppers in the self save condiments area (:

The Santa Barbara Char by far the best burger ever. Great for spliting between two people or enjoying it all yourself. Love this place. Always clean, and great food.

It was so yummy we didn't leave a bit. You have to try the fried green beans 😋. The staff wasn't as friendly as our last visit, that was kind of a bummer. But the food was amazing.

I've been hearing about The Habit Burger Grill for a few years now and never had any interest in coming here. My wife was really excited about the new place coming to Rancho Cucamonga and she kept telling me about it. Today she suggested while we were in the area and I obliged. The line wasn't as bad as I've heard from other people. As a matter of fact we were third in line and immediately a register clerk came and took our order. I ordered the classic double charbroiled burger with grilled onions (hold the pickles), added cheese and of course requested some bacon. My wife ordered the Tri-tip steak sandwich on a French roll. We also ordered a side of fries, accompanied by some drinks. When your done ordering they hand you a square pager that will vibrate once your order is ready. My burger was cooked to perfection. I could barely get my big mouth over the entire burger, it was huge! The fries were crispy and hot and tasted delicious. Add a few yellow peppers from the bar, and I had myself a meal. I was enjoying my burger so much that I opted not to try the sandwich my wife was having when she offered. I look forward to my next visit to The Habit Burger Grill!

Santa Fe Sandwich was great, but the tempura string beans han way too much h salt shaked on them, while the ranch dressing was hiding the taste. After my fingers felt gritty and a headache appeared, I then inspected the item. Restaurant very clean except for the outside door entrance. We left the sushi place down the street before walking in because of this, but have ate at Habits before, we did give it a chance. O really, great customer service and food.

The Habit is delicious! Great service, price, quality, and environment. The french fries are fresh and perfectly salted. I also recommend the onion rings which are just as good! The ambiance is very welcoming and transports you to sunny Santa Barbara where the habit was first established.

Better burgers than in-n-out IMHO... only downsides: kinda pricey (not break your bank pricey but a basic combo is over $10) Onion rings are fire....also they have the best condiment bar I have seen at a burger joint...I have never seen both A.1 and Worcestershire sauce available outside of a steakhouse and even then not every steakhouse has both. Shout out to the chef in the back with the tatts and the handle bar mustache. He seems to genuinely love or at least not mind his job😁👍

My godson and his friend chose the Habit. I've been several times, usually getting the Tenderloin Steak Sandwich. The Habit is convenient if I want a fast and satisfactory option. I don't usually "crave" the Habit. However this time, I tried the Basil Pesto Chicken Sandwich and I am hooked. I can't wait to have it again. It didn't hurt to dine al fresco and enjoy our weather and view. Thanks for the 4.5 Star experience.

I could practically taste the flavors mingling in my outh already, my mouth practically salivating as I order. Anyway, I get my food, keeping it sealed in the bag to persevere temoperature integrity. And as soon as I get home, I ripe open my bag, excitedly rummaging through, eager for the creamy white liquid gold. Unfortunately, I was met with everything but, my order complete and well made, delicious one may suppose but, I was only here for the ranch. The ranch was the first thing that I've actually wanted to ate and made me excited for eating in a while and that wasn't included. Anyway, I get it. Life happens and they didn't know. Is it a touch dissapointing that I made sure to add ranch to my online order, only for it to be the only thing missing, despite being the only thing I really wanted? Sure. But the girl l serving seemed to be stressed out already, it kind of seemed like she didn't want me there and like she hated that I was even in her presence, which like, ouch for me right now because again, bipolar, depressive episode, but also I get it, she has her own life and just because we try to treat others with patience and kindness doesn't mean we're owed it in return. Ate the end of the day, we all must live with the choices we make and the way we leave people feeling. And today, I must live with the choice I made to keep my bag sealed and trust in the process. Anyway, again, I get it, I'm really only writing this because it feels good to get it out there and be able to have my feelings be heard (hopefully/presumably) and feel like maybe someone might care how I feel. Even if small, that feels really nice to have the chance to do that right now. Anyway, yeah one of the best fast food burger places out there, I would definitely recommend. Gonna try Mooyah or Shake Shack next time though and hopefully get my ranch :)

We went to rat and ordering was good ,young man was in training and he was polite and took our order no issues. Then, when we were called to pick up our order I asked if we could get an extra ranch and the supervisor said it'll cost you 65 cents. I said ok no worries." Then she said I'm not worried, and then I said to her I'd pay and to sell me two. She took my money and made a face. Wow I know I have to pay but she was very rude about it maybe the franchise should speak to her about her manners and customer skills.

Great food. Burger was flavorful, reminded me of homemade. Fries were tasty. Fried green beans were a nice treat. However, the manager on duty was incredibly rude. She yelled at the cashier, correcting an error that was not an error. She didn't see the entire picture and jumped to an incorrect conclusion. Hollering at an employee in from of customers is not ok.

I've been to this location twice at dinner hrs. It's a big spot with lots of tables. The staff greeted me upon entering and was very friendly. Only a short line but it moved quick and our food arrived promptly with no excess wait. Plenty of stuff on the counter, ketchup, chilis, napkins, etc. And some good lemonades and teas to go with the standard sodas. Restrooms were clean and stocked. Good stuff, I'll be back!

The Habit is a great place for burgers, sandwiches, a variety of fountain drinks and great service. Now, two things call my attention, the habit doesn’t have senior discount or coupons for their customers base. The business next door to the habit have discounts and that business is Tio’s Cafe. That’s why I go to Tio’s more than the Habit. It kind of shows a little corporate greed and that is a shame. Giving back is very important and is a shame The Habit doesn’t give anything back to the people. I was there on Friday, July 26, 2024 for lunch. By the way the staff is fantastic. The Habit Burger Grill is a fast casual chain that started in Santa Barbara in 1969 and is now in multiple states and other countries. I've been to the Habit many times before and their Charburgers are excellent. Their beef patties are 100% all natural (from their website) and never frozen. When cooked the patty is well seasoned, tender, and juicy. The sesame bun is good and when toasted adds a surprising crunch and contrast to the soft burger, lettuce, and tomatoes. I normally get the fries or onion rings, which are good, but on my recent visit I decided to get The Tempura Green Beans for a change and wow I'll never get fries again. I have nothing against fries (I love you man) but dang the green beans were just that good and half the calories with fiber as well. That's a win/win in my book. If you've never been to the Habit before check this place out. The restaurant itself is nice, clean, and modern. There is no table service here so go to the counter and order. There is no alcohol here, but they have freshly made juices that are excellent as well. Really check this place out.

The place is nice and the food is tasty! The only problem with the habit is that the food handlers and the cooks don't wear gloves when they prepare and handle your meal, which I find it very unhygienic, especially in this day and age. I would go there again if I will know that they started wearing gloves, like many food chain restaurants. Meanwhile, I will never eat here again.

Usually I really like the habit so I'll give it 3 stars. My recent visits have been frustrating. Tonight, it took them over 20 minutes to finish my order. 2 people who ordered after me were served before me. My shake cup had a crack in it. They didn't remove the pickles like I asked (on the receipt) and my burger patty was pink. Maybe avoid this location on the weekends and during peek times. It's a much better experience when you can dine in. But obviously they can't do anything about their dining room being closed.

It's alright. I came here for my first time tonight and I wasnt too happy. Hamburger was sloppy and just fell apart and fries were wobbly. Guy who took my order was really sweet I didnt get a name. One employee was really rude. I was walking out of the restroom with my daughter and she was taking out the trash I apologized for us getting in her way and she just kept walking with her nose up once we moved. I’ve been a loyal Habit customer for a few years. The food has always been amazing, and the staff is great! However, I would like to reflect on my latest experience. I ordered pickup, and they forgot my burger. I went back, and I did get a burger, with the cheese I removed from the order. I am disappointed, but this place deserves a second chance. After all, this is very abnormal for them. Just remember: It’s always a good idea to check your order before you leave, and make sure everything is there! A free drink or milkshake would have been nice for my trouble, though. Oh well.

So I decided to bring my Husband here after Church. It had been my third time eating here. The place is very nice and spacious. The service was good but the icecream machine wasn't working, so they said. I loooved their dragon fruit, mango lemonade. Overall we noticed that we were able to taste every ingredient in our cheeseburger BUT the meat. A little seasoning and it would have been perfect! I hate to mention that our stomachs felt weird all day. We can't put our finger on it as to why we didn't feel so well after eating there. But that was our experience so please don't be discouraged to try it out for yourself!

He went up to the counter to let them know that his burger was wrong and made my husband feel like it was his fault for not getting the burger we paid for. Im a frequent online orderer for the habit. My family and I love their lettuce wrap burgers. Unfortunately tonight I had a not so good experience. We ordered through the app for curbside. When I picked up my order, the guy who dropped it off to me shoved it through my window and walked away without a word, even when I said hi and thank you. I ordered two lettuce wrapped burgers exactly the same that had extra tomato, pickle, and raw onions. When I got home, it was to my surprise that both of them were quite bare. After taking a bite, I noticed it was only meat and pickle. I continued eating, slightly annoyed but I figured mistakes happen. I check the other one, same problem. Now I'm even more annoyed thinking about the attitude I got from the employee, so I resort to trying to get a hold of someone to hopefully remake our burgers. I try going through the app and calling to get customer service and they make it impossible to talk to anyone. Leaving this review was my last resort hopefully get through. Yes, I am upset that my dinner was very unfulfilling but I'm most disappointed by the customer service of the employee who gave me my order and how impossible they make it to rectify any problems. Highly considering not returning because of this.

I swear this location gives smaller portions than others. I went there last night with family and ALL of us noticed the portions on the sandwiches/burger were smaller (fries were normal size FYI). For instance, the fillet on the ahi sandwich I ordered looked like it was literally sliced in half and had half the thickness as one I had at another location literally days before. Another family member noticed with their chicken fillet the same thing. Same with my girlfriend’s burger it looked noticeably smaller. See and compare for yourself. I’m inclined to contact the company about this too, I really think they’re either doing this on purpose or there’s a problem with their quality control/product consistency.

Its size left much to be desired, attempting to compete with fast food giants like McDonald's but falling short, especially considering the $6.50 price tag. Despite the grandiose names and promises of a "Charburger," the reality was far from what was expected. The burger lacked the expected juiciness and instead offered a thinly pressed patty that had surrendered all its moisture to the relentless heat. In an area where culinary excellence is celebrated, The Habit Burger Grill left me puzzled. It wasn't just a matter of being "not special," it was more a matter of disappointment. I wanted a good burger and I got it but the service at this location was extremely poor. This is my first time at this location and sad to say I will NOT be coming back. I'll go to the colonies istead or any other location but not here. We walked in and we were not acknowledged at all. We had to place the order at the kiosk which is something I never do but it seemed there was no choice. I ate my burger and couldn't leave fast enough. Not a good experience. I recently read an article on FOX LA that ranked the Double Char Burger as the top burger in California, with the Double-Double from In-N-Out coming in second. However, after trying the Double Char Burger today, I have to say it doesn’t compare to In-N-Out. Firstly, the price difference is significant, with the Double Char being more expensive. When it comes to taste, the Double-Double from In-N-Out wins hands down – it's more flavorful and satisfying. The presentation also leaves much to be desired; the Double Char just doesn't look as appealing as the In-N-Out burger. This is my honest opinion based on today's experience.

They are cheating on portions and to think I paid 8.99 for what I thought would be a full portion. Ridiculous, save your $$. Go elsewhere. **UPDATE** ORDERED THE GRILLED CHICKEN CEASAR SALAD AND AGAIN THEY GAVE ME RANCH DRESSING..EXTRA..THIS PLACE has gotten terrible..twice now.. I will be going elsewhere since they don't know what ceasar dressing is..!! Ridiculous..

Ordered for curbside pickup. Didn't check our order because I assumed everything was there. Our order was all wrong. We were missing a side of fries and one of the burgers was supposed to be a double and we got a regular. The food was mediocre but I more upset about paying for an order that was wrong altogether. Wished 5guys was open.

I ordered the steak sandwich. The steak in the sandwich ...was RAW... literally RAW. I brought it the attention to a team member and she said sorry and turned around. Everyone was nice but the way it was handled was not. It is not the team member's fault (she was very polite ) if they are not trained on how to handle customer dissatisfaction. I was not approached by a manager to refund my money or asked if I would like the sandwich replaced. I was not looking for any of these things if the matter was treated with a sense of priority. As we know ALL serving raw food is a potential hazard. Overall tho everyone was nice and courteous.

The Habit is usually very good. Today, the burger and the green beans were not seasoned. My mom and I only ate half of our meals.

My family and I went to the Habit when I came to visit. Our order was completely wrong, we ordered 2 orders of onion rings and got none. We also had fries and were given sweet potato fries. We did not get any burgers we ordered… I think the gave us someone else’s meal. We were not able to go back due to having to be at a conference within 15 min. I tried calling and was told to make a complaint online. I have done that and still have not been reimbursed or contacted about this. I spent $50 on food. To top it off one of my family members went ahead and ate part of the burger but ended up getting sick. I’m very disappointed in the services and the fact I have not been reimbursed yet.

I have been going here since they opened this location. The food is great but service needs work. My orders have been missing items here and there. Nothing worse then arriving home to discover someone in the family didn’t get their food. The problem is when you go to pick up the items they carelessly forgot the rest of your food gets cold. I don’t like spending $40 plus and eating cold food or half the family eats then the other. Please take the time to ensure people’s orders are correct. I think I will be staying away from this location for awhile until they fix this.

When ordering the Family Char Meal on the kiosk, the price was $18.27. I added a regular drink and the total price was $23 something. After I clicked checkout, the price was $29.98! I was confused as to why the price had gone up so much and reviewed my order. According to the price shown, the correct price should have been around $24, so why was it almost $30? I asked an employee about it and they said that deal was no longer available in person, it was online only. I asked why was the deal even on there then. They said they didn't know and they didn't honor my $24 total

The manager was completely rude had an attitude and wouldn’t leave employees alone during their lunch break

Excited to see a drive thru but disappointed we went. Completely got our order wrong and when brought to the cashiers attention she argued with us stating we told her the wrong thing. Then quickly threw together the order so we could go. Our burger looked like it had been thrown against the wall. The salad was thrown together without enough chicken and bacon as hard as glass. Finally the 50/50 (fries and onion rings) was completely cold. Overall this was a terrible first visit and most likely our last. As a bonus looking at my card statement I see the charge not under the Habit but instead it shows as the Hair Lounge. This I find extra frightening

It used to be really good I just ordered the Char Burger onion rings and a strawberry shake the strawberry shake had barely any whipped cream on it the Charburger very lack lobsters I've had better at McDonald's the onion rings were good crispy but the ranch dressing was watered down I will not recommend this place and I will not be going back I spent $22 yeah In-N-Out Burger is better I would recommend that to everybody

I waited 40’minutes for order #24 to come out. It consisted of one burger and a particular fry. The order came out incorrect. The cashier placed the order properly but the kitchen and manager failed to properly prepare the order even with 40 minutes available to them to do it properly. There seems to not be an executive chef to make sure all orders are prepared according to order and by the time it reaches the manager it seems she just packages it for here or to go but does not look to make sure the receipt matches the meals. Horrible experience. Manager Gabby requires additional training on how to prevent loss to the business and ensure customers are happy .

I ordered the new parmesan garlic fries for a take out order. When I arrived home, a 20 min drive, I checked my food and oh and behold, the fries were missing. And upon checking my receipt, I was charged for them. When I tried calling the store to resolve the issue, none of the options on the automated system directed me to talk to someone directly, they just gave me instructions for the app but did not allow me to place my concern or talk to a representative. It was a truly disappointing experience how they handle the customer service for take out orders. HABIT is my go to for the fresh taste and prompt service, but this is truly disappointing. Do better Habit.

Disappointed in this location. Have been there with grandkids and their ice cream cones their not serving, only shakes. Sounds like they have decided to follow McDonald's. To bad. We like their food and ice cream cones for kids but this jas happened a few times. I guess will start taking grandkids to del taco for their mini shakes and their del tacos. Delicious and ice cream always working

Ordered curbside pick-up, parked in the first curbside-pick up position right in front of the store, checked in on the app, and saw an employee step out for one second, looked at my car then turn around back inside. Sat there for about 10 more minutes after that, went inside and asked about my order and the same lady I saw poke her head out said, "Oh, I was looking for youuu." How about walk up to the car and ask the name or something. Lazy folks here.

Just came to get food spent $30. It's 8: 30pm 1-23-26 This girl was rude she won't give us yellow peppers. Because they put them up early.Thats not my fault My 30$ means nothing apparently.It would take 2 seconds to get them, very lazy, snotty, Would not give us a refund told us to figure it out online. Won't be back if the staff is going to act like that to paying customers. whats the point of eating out after a long day if people are just going to be rude to us not give you what you want,that you offer, when you pay a lot of money. For a reason that I haven't been to a habit in six months. The whole experience was horrible. First they were out of jalapeños. I asked do you have any type of peppers. She said they were all out. I asked again well do you have any chili peppers. Then she realized oh yeah, we have that . Next is service as the employee handled me the food via drive thru and just walked away. My GF had to honk to get her attention asking for hot sauce and utensils. The lady had the nerve to say asking not to honk. Well maybe if she asked if we needed anything else. The worst fries ever! The fries were obviously cooked in old oil. Fries were burnt, even worse is that you can taste it. I will take my business else where that has employees that care and a place that serves restaurant quality food. Honestly, probably the last time I will go to a Habit.

Used to love habit burger. Overcooking the French fries for the 3rd time after shrinking the portion has turned me away. They then put 1 drop of teriyaki sauce on the overcooked burger. Not worth the price anymore.

My boyfriend & I like the cheeseburgers at the habit but the service was bad. The manager Laura took our order she’s rude & gives attitude. She thinks she’s superior to the employees. I had a bad experience with her, since then we have not returned to the habit!

Burnt fries tasted terrible, clearly were reheated, they went into the trash. Burger was made wrong even tho it was correct on the receipt. Burger bun was soggy and nasty. I live 3 mins from this location. This is now the 3rd time the food has sucked. Won’t be going here anymore.
