This French-themed restaurant has become our go-to spot for breakfast, and it's simply delightful! The eggs Benedict are a particular highlight—absolutely delicious. The carrot muffins are absolutely phenomenal! The customer service is consistently great, and the decor of the place is super cute, reminiscent of a charming cafe in France. A wonderful dining experience that keeps us coming back for more!

Twany helped us at the Rancho location, and she was busy, yet she gave us excellent service. It was obvious that the area she worked at today everyone was taken care of. We told her we would come back and ask for her. Management should know she is a keeper and we rate her a 10+. The food was to our liking and whatever changes we asked for was done correctly. Thanks for a great experience today being Valentine's day!

This Mimi's is amazing. My server was awesome friendly and nice. She was quick and checked on me often. The food was way better than the previous Mimi's I used to go to. Think this will be my new Mimi's. The quality of the food is so much better here. Also the cleanliness of the restaurant. Just trust me... if you haven't tried this one, give it a go. I had a wonderful experience at Mimi’s today for Mother's Day, we were a party of 7. Our server, Maria was amazing! She took the time to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We were told that we had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated here at Mimi's Cafe but it seemed only a 15 minute wait and they seated us. The place was packed with wonderful aromas all about. Our server was so completely busy that another was kind enough to tend to us. She began with beverages and then took our orders. It wasn't long til the soup and main course followed. I haven't been to Mimi's in years. I stopped going when corporate bought out most of the locations and the quality dropped. That was not the case here. I had the rib eye steak 🥩. I ordered medium-rare and as most restaurants do, it came out medium well. Despite that, the steak tasted great. The rest of my pay had an excellent time. Our waitress handled the big group splendidly.

Mimi’s Bistro & Bakery has been a long time favorite. I had not been in years however, and although the food was a good as I remembered - - I thought the muffins were their claim to fame; and I am pretty sure I recall getting muffins with the meal just as a standard fare. . .you would just order your choice of blueberry; bran; pumpkin spice etc. That is no more! Muffins are still available but you need to specifically order and pay extra. . . I was very disappointed; but even with the absence of that amenity, I would still recommend this establishment to a friend. The family went for breakfast, and I can truly say everything was delicious. . .waffles; crepes; pancakes; quiche; yum, yum, yum; a wonderful way to start any day!

I had the French pot roast 3 course meal with a crock of French Onion Soup and the Bread Pudding .. absolutely delicious and at a great price by California standards... The soup was perfect and presented as it should be presented .. the main, it was a large portion so very worth the money... The Bread Pudding, I was told is made in house, was absolutely stunning and combined with the sauce on and around it, I can't even say how good it was... Server was friendly and efficient absolutely no complaint at all about this place .. I stayed at the Best Western across the street for the first time (trying a new location) as opposed to where I usually stay and Mimi's made my mind up to make it my new regular hotel...

Showed up Sunday around 10:45. Got seated right away, and our waitress was attentative. We got the crumble muffin fresh and warm. My wife had the corned beef hash and eggs while I had the sausage, bacon, omellete. All our food came out at a good time and the food was fresh and hot. Their menu here is huge with plenty to offer everyone, very good. UPDATE ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Went recently fir dinner. Wife had the Salmon I had the steak. NOPE, neither one. My baked potatoes had a taste of stale. It was like it sat in a drawer and absorbed other orders, not good. Salmon was dry, vegetables - not good. The meal WAS redeemed with their trio Desert- Holy Smokes, that was good!

I decided to eat Jambalaya, instead of rice I chose pasta and I definitely loved it. I also ordered pancakes and they are definitely the best I have ever had, their flavor fascinated me. I will definitely return to the place. The staff was friendly and attentive.

We tried their Italian breakfast crepe with vinaigrette sauce, and it was very delicious, not counting the healthy ingredients that came with it. They even separated the order into two plates for no additional charge so we gave the waitress a good tip for doing that for us. For the banana and chocolate chip muffin, it was slightly too sweat comparing to what we are accustomed to at the same location. We arrived at the location at 7:45am and there was hardly anyone. We enjoyed a healthy breakfast in a cozy and quiet environment. I highly recommend this location for dine-in breakfast.

Nice suburban cafe offering tasty food and prompt service

I like this place more for the ambiance. Food is priced higher but not necessarily better - but it’s still good food.

Six of us came to celebrate a birthday. Four of us had quiche and salad, one had a salmon salad, and the other had onion soup. Everybody was eating it up so I guess everyone liked their food. They only have half a bar so I couldn't get a Moscow Mule, but their Skinny Margarita was good. Service was so so.

Always been a big fun of Mimi’s Cafe. Love the carrot muffins. Service was good despite having some items not delivered as ordered. Food was good, but not exceptional. Usually go to another location (two different ones really), so my expectation was probably eschewed.

Almost Like a Home Cooked Meal!! During a stay last year in Racho Cucamonga I had the chance to try Mimi's Bistro. I was staying at the Best Western and was looking for someplace close to eat. The front desk at the hotel told me Mimi's was a local favourite. Mimi's is a very cool place, it has a very welcoming feel to it. I was greeted and seated quite fast, and my server recommended the signature soup the Tomato Basil. The soup is very flavourful with good consistency, I really enjoyed it. Since it was later in the evening, I was looking for a meal on the lighter side and decided on the Wood-Grilled Shrimp Brochette Skewers which came with steamed green beans. The meal was perfect, the shrimp was fresh and cooked just right. This is a meal I would have again. Mimi's is a great local spot for food, with great staff and a great ambiance.

Had a wonderful meal at Mimi's. Customer service was exceptional - attentive without hovering. I had the turkey dinner. Delicious. I've had turkey dinners at other similar restaurants, but Mimi's Turkey dinner is the best. I'll be returning to this Mimi's soon.

Service was timing and adequate considering the time we went (7pm). Food was good but I felt that the portion of salmon was a bit too small for the value.

I hadn’t been to Mimi’s Cafe in a while, but after meeting some friends for breakfast, I was impressed! The service was great, and the food was delicious. I tried the Chicken and Waffles, which was tasty, but my personal favorite was the Smoked Salmon Benedict—it was outstanding. The restaurant is kept clean, and the servers are friendly and attentive. Located at the corner of Foothill Blvd and Spruce Ave, it’s a convenient spot for a satisfying breakfast or brunch. Definitely worth a visit!

Mushroom soup was delicious, and the triple berry mimosa never disappoints.

Everything was amazing. Mary was our server and took care of us well. She didn’t bug us and didn’t ignore us and was very kind. The perfect service. Food was fresh and delicious. I recommend the French dip. My only complaint : the men’s restroom could use a cleaning more often.

Food was good, ample portions and priced fairly. Server was busy so manager took our orders and got us drinks, which was nice that they didn't leave us waiting. Had a 3 course meal for $30, included soup salad or other starter (I had French Onion Soup) my entree, which I chose Tuscan Chicken, and dessert. We got desserts to go as we were too full to eat there. (I had a butter toffee cake which was delicious!) Really liked this location more than the Mimi's near my home.

The bacon ham and sausage omelet was amazing! Rosalio really hooked it up with this one. Great service and great food!

Second time getting food here @ Mimi's, wasn't bad, I ordered the grilled salmon with mashed and garlic spinach. Everything was tasty, except for the salmon. It was grilled nicely but had no flavor except for the lemon juice I spread over it. But still not a bad meal

Our server was very very nice, but couldn't get our orders straight or remember to bring us water, bread, to-go boxes, etc. Our plates arrived within 10 minutes, but 15 minutes before the soup and salad. I ordered flan for desert and had to wait 10 minutes for it to cool down, so they must have microwaved it. I've never had piping hot flan before and probably never will again. Not their best night, for sure.

It had Southern flavors, but I didn’t find much chicken in the plate, it only had a little bit. The service was a little slow and it took a while to get our orders in. The food was good but wished the service had been a little better.

Staff were lovely! Service was slow, though, despite not-busy room. Merely understaffed, I suspect. Despite this, quiche arrived swiftly (faster than beverages or other patrons’ food), and crust was somewhat soggy. (Microwaved?) Flavor was ok. Cappuccino was more like a latte. Still, I enjoyed it. Water had a hint of chlorine. Unsure if it was the ice or water supply.

I had an unfortunate experience the night we went. It had been raining so I imagine that wasn't fun for the staff. When we showed up, there was a couple seated outside so I went inside to make sure they were still accepting customers (because of the rain, I thought maybe they weren't). I spoke to a woman (turned out to be the manager) who was rude and said she would be with me shortly and I asked her if they were still seating customers and she said no. It was barely 5:30 and I didn't believe her. I asked another employee and I was informed that they WERE seating customers. So I sat in the car and sent my companion in to get a seat. Once they were seated, I joined. I dislike the fact that I was lied to. This is why I'm leaving 2 stars (it could have been 5)! On a positive note, the food was wonderful! I had the tomato bisque and even though it was cold out, the soup stayed warmed! The turkey salad sandwich was great! Our server was very nice and we enjoyed our dining experience. I had been looking forward to that evening for a couple of days and it was almost ruined by that lying employee. I'm glad I decided to stay. I think she was caught off guard when she realized I was still there. Perhaps she was having a bad day or maybe she doesn't like the rain. I know I would have been miserable if I had to work in the rain, but not to a point of lying to someone and treating them disrespectfully. We've been trying to eat at different places to do our part at helping the economy and that night it was very cold out, dark, and wet. There was no reason for her to have lied to me. I hope the next time I visit, it will be a better experience.

Restaurant prices for a fast-food environment. During my lunch, another customer across the room played a video loudly on their phone for about 45 minutes. I asked the host, the food server, and eventually the manager, but was told by the last two that “they’ll be leaving soon”. No one asked them to turn it down or use headphones. The food servers seemed less friendly towards the end as if we were the problem. Usually come here every few months. Not anymore.

They were not busy at 430 to 6 30 pm on Thursday the 7th. There was about 10 to 12 people in the restaurant. We had a big group and they were real slow and all we got were appetizers. We told them we had to hurry. It took forever to get drinks. We got soups and one order of chicken strips. And they forgot our fries..

This is the most bland food I have ever had and how do you mess up a southern staple like chicken and waffles. They really need to take it off the menu and go back to the drawing board. Our waitress was just as bad and to send our food back twice and after that I didn’t even want to eat. My friend didn’t enjoy his food either. Go across the street to Black Bear for better food and service

Food is normally good for some reason today service was horrible. I ordered food as normal but decided to try Large Strawberry Lemonade. After seeing how it was made with lemon juice and strawberry perserved dumbed into it, I decided to change to orange juice. The orange juice was replaced in a 8oz coffee cup from a normal 21 cup. I brought it to the lady's attention, and after a small arquement, she poured me orange juice as in the pic below. Thanks Jennifer I hope your day is better

I use to love Mimi's Cafe but I am very disappointed in my order today. French onion soup 11 dollars for a little over a cup and they call it a bowl? I don't think so.....quality of food has gone down the drain. Prices ridiculous high.....I understand prices have gone up everywhere but none of the food I ordered was worth the price. Not sure what has changed but even the food doesn't taste great. Definitely not coming here EVER!

Saturday night march 5th 2022 7:30pm...Bad service! Waited too long to be seated when there was no people waiting. Then when we got seated...they took too long to bring our food out and when they remembered to bring out my 2 daughters food they forgot my plate of salad and grilled salmon dish and even forgot to give us the utensils so we waited another 20 minutes till their food got cold while the server named megan was flirting with 2 military service guys at the bar. Another 25 minutes passed till I got my plate. It was very disappointing to have eaten at mimis. Very bad experience. I will never go back plus they over charged me up to $97.96 for only 3 plates and a salad and 3 drinks. it was my first and last...🤷‍♂️

Went there to place an order and redeem my birthday rewards. I waited 5mins before someone approached me. When I told them what I was there for, they said ok give me a second. I waited for ten minutes and no one returned. I saw the lady who said she's coming back continue doing what she was doing, so I left. Im highly disappointed for a first impression.

GHOST TOWN. All food is made from industrial suppliers, comes out of plastic bags -- and is either run through the microwave or air fryer. We paid $75 for food that would have costed under $10 to microwave if we had just went to Aldi's. The staff is sweet, and the homeless guy in the dark parking lot didn't hit me, so 1 star for that.

Me and my wife ordered the salmon benedicts for breakfast. food looked good until we realized there really wasn’t any salmon on them. So we let our waiter know she said she was going to bring it up to the manager but the manager did not find a solution for us to satisfy our needs. Omar the store manager offered us a free muffin which was absurd and unbelievable. Im a regular mimis cafe client and this was my first time i came to the mimis cafe in rancho cucamonga on 10909 foothill blvd. And i never got treated like this at any other mimis cafe and i get treated properly and respected. Not coming back again to this location becuase omar didn’t take the time to talk to us and help us come to a solution or fix the situation, other than that our waitress did a good job trying to help us even though nothing got resolved and it was not the waitress fault. It was omars. However i still left our waitress a tip for being helpful.

Had the worst dining experience of my life this morning. We were seated in a booth infested with ants and when we notified the waitress, we were moved to the adjacent booth (same wall, still ants). Though not the restaurants fault, 4 screaming children were seated right next to us and did not help my headache. The chicken and waffles look nothing like the photo in the menu (see my photo) and are nowhere near worth $18. The chicken is literally nuggets. I ordered the pancake meal and asked for only 2 pancakes instead of the 4 it comes with, but somehow was charged $6 more. We had the waitress fix the error, but it came out to be the same price as 4 pancakes. During the entire dining experience, we could not even ask for salt/pepper, takeout boxes, or refills on the coffee because they never came by until giving us the receipt. The kicker was even though we notified staff of the ants and requested a move, they seated a group of four in the same booth while we were eating. Will never be coming back here :)

Location;Good, Parking;Good, Senior Menu;?, Service; Okay, Food for price; Okay, Overall; This was a first time try at this location. I have been to other Mimi's and the results have been mixed. But this one did lower the my view of the chain when they served a meal that was completely unedible. The seafood pasta was so bad that it was sent back. The server apologized for the meal then took it off our tab. Then instead of offering a meal at no charge they charged us for the meal that replaced the rapid one. Would I go back....nope...
