Una favolosa cena a base di pesce e vino locale

Locale scoperto per caso dopo una visita al mercatino dell'usato, devo dire per niente deludente! Il locale in sé è piuttosto curato, il personale è gentile e il servizio piuttosto rapido. Tutto quello che abbiamo ordinato è stato ottimo, specialmente la pasta fresca e il piatto di polenta e baccalà. Molto consigliato.

Locale piccolo, ma molto confortevole e ben curato. L'atmosfera rilassante coadiuvata da musica jazz ambient, contribuiscono ad una migliore degustazione delle pietanze. La signora che ci accoglie è molto gentile e disponibile. Ho provato per la prima volta con la mia ragazza, oggi a pranzo. Ho voluto provare degli strozza preti ai gamberi e un baccalà con cipolla caramellata. La mia ragazza, ha preso dei triangoli ai carciofi con sugo di pesce e un fritto misto. Era tutto veramente buono, io in marticolarr modo sono rimasto incantato dal baccalà. Per concludere, posso suggerire questo posto senza problemi.

Situato nella piazza di fronte la stazione ferroviaria di Ravenna, è un locale che dall’esterno risulta un po anonimo. La cucina però smentisce subito l’aspetto esteriore con ottimi piatti ed un servizio più che cordiale. Sicuramente da tornarci per assaporare altri piatti.

Siamo tornati dopo un anno ed abbiamo avuto ancora una volta un'ottima esperienza. Ambiente accogliente, pulito, personale cordiale e cucina fantastica Tutta la pasta è fatta a mano Abbiamo preso un' insalata tiepida di mare( divisa in due perché abbondante), cappelletti al ragù, tagliolini allo scoglio ( piatto enorme pieno di pesce) ravioli carciofi e gamberi , strozzapreti gamberi e pomodorini ed una tagliata di tonno ottima Birra ed acqua € 115 Se passate da Ravenna è una tappa obbligatoria

Posto molto carino , un servizio eccezionale con una gentilezza ,sia dai titolari , sia dai camerieri eccezionali . Ti mettono subito a tuo agio. Poi ottimo il cibo. Abbiamo iniziato con lo spritz , antipasti, primi e secondi a base di pesce per finire con il dolce e il caffè, tutto buonissimo. Veramente complimenti. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Proprio di fronte alla stazione, ha una veranda esterna, noi abbiamo mangiato nella sala al primo piano. Il servizio è stato cortese ed impeccabile, hanno aiutato mia moglie, con qualche intolleranza alimentare, a scegliere tra diverse opzioni. Entrambi siamo stati molto soddisfatti (castrato alla griglia con verdure grigliate e passatelli con formaggio di fossa e tartufo, entrambi ottimi). Unica pecca, il vino della casa (unica opzione a 350ml) che non era di mio gusto. Prezzo corretto per quanto preso e, ripeto, servizio impeccabile. Consigliatissimo.

Normalmente non ho un' ottima opinione dei locali vicini alle stazioni o in zone defilate, ma qui sono veramente rimasto stupito. Siamo stati trattati con estrema gentilezza, abbiamo mangiato molto bene ed abbiamo avuto un posto vista cucina, dove abbiamo visto preparare la pasta e le piadine in casa (veramente un plus). Abbiamo speso una cifra che definisco onesta per la qualità dei prodotti e ci ritornerei a cuor leggero. Bravi, cose semplici, fatte bene...

The freshly baked Piadina was extraordinary, with a lovely wheat aroma and a crispy texture. All the handmade pastas had impressive texture and flavour. We tried the Strozzapreti with rabbit, which came in a white ragu style, rich in umami but not too heavy. The Paccheri al ragù di molo and the Cinghiale with mashed potatoes were new experiences for us, and both have good flavour and cooked moderately. La Trippa Romagnola was also impressive—super tender and flavourful. The portion sizes aren't huge, allowing us to try different dishes and every single one was memorable. The service was professional (the staff can speak basic English), and the owners were warm and enthusiastic. Being next to the train station, it's very convenient for travelers, but the quality of the food totally exceeded our expectations.

Excellent! We (a French family who likes to eat well) had an excellent lunch with fish, seafood, pasta, vegetables and dessert, wine for a good price. The kids also liked it. The service was very friendly. Absolutely to be recommended!

Cooking of the highest standard in this lovely, welcoming much loved local Osteria. Top quality home made pasta, rabbit done porchetta style (delicious), fine anchovies, excellent desserts (especially fig pannacotta) and great selection of wine. Their grappa is also exceptional. Deservedly popular so need to book. The service and atmosphere is genuine and friendly. One of the best addresses in Ravenna. A joy.

if you visit Ravenna this is a must place. it should be the first one as soon as you land in the city's station, which is 0km far , where you will be able to experience the "ospitalità Romagnola" and give a positive good start to your stay. freshly made egg pasta by beautiful, warm and welcoming women, they were attentive to our culinary needs. We reside in London, yet my partner had the best Angus stake, I am originally from here and can reassure i had the best fish strozapreti as primo and spiedini gamberi-calamari per secondo. this place call itself "Osteria" yet we had better service than many restaurants where we paid double the price. we are here another 5 days and will make sure we are back as many times as we can. it's a shame we didn't discover it earlier on. In other countries what is given here is rated as luxury. I am so proud to say, this is what my Ravenna is about.

Osteria Il Paiolo is a delightful discovery in Ravenna. The food is exceptional, with every dish showcasing the rich flavors of Romagna. The handmade pasta, especially the cappelletti al ragù, is a standout. The seafood dishes — from tagliolini alle vongole to warm seafood salads — are incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared. Highly recommended for all pescatarians. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is attentive and friendly. We loved this osteria. We were skeptical because it was right across from the main train station, but the Google reviews were very good, so we booked a table. It was superb! Their motto is "Sapori romagnoli" (Romagna flavors). When the opera singer on the sound system would hit a high note, the servers stopped and held their breathe. That kind of place (in a good way). In addition to the regular menu, they had specials, including the grilled scallops that I had. Wish I had ordered more than just the two I got (8 euro per scallop). My partner started with a plate of anchovies with a ball of burrata, tomatoes and toast. Exceptional. My partner then had a tagliatelle with shrimp and truffles. I had a pasta in an egg sauce with morel mushrooms (also off the specials.) It was so good that before we left, we made a reservation for the next night.. Our wine was a Sicilian Etna Bianco. The next night was disappointing only in that they did not have a special menu on Friday. We repeated the anchovies with burrata (so good!) The evening before, we had watched the owner making the passatelli by hand, so my partner had to have the Passatelli with clams while I had a ravioli with blue cheese. Both very good. The wine was a Verdicchio from The Marche.

The homemade noodles in the store are really delicious, and the taste is 10+! We will definitely come to Ravenna again, and we will definitely come to the store for a delicious meal! Stunning food, lovely venue and great staff. They literally make the food in front of you. You can watch them folding ravioli behind a glass screen. Prices are very reasonable and because its not in the centre its quiet and peaceful. Loved it here, would highly recommend.

It's been a while since we stayed (twice) at this restaurant. The place is inconspicuous from the outside, close to the train station. Inconspicuous from the outside, it hides a real explosion of flavors inside. Two Ladies Waitresses provide service at the highest level. A rich wine list (moderate prices), we recommend the BIO ones. Dishes with a name that didn't mean anything to us turned out to be a culinary masterpiece. Everything is elegantly served, culinary pampered. I love restaurants where, after the first visit, I want another one (remember: make a reservation) and also those in which the dishes served give me inspiration for my own kitchen experiments. Great respect for the kitchen staff and the entire service. For your information: dinner: starter, first course, main course plus a bottle of wine for 2 people: cost approx. 80 EUR. Do not hesitate and I wish you a tasty stay and culinary journey

Aspettative deluse, ma forse a Ravenna si mangia così. La pasta è buona : tortellini al sugo e tagliatelle ai funghi, ma porzioni molto ridotte soprattutto considerati I costi (una media di 18 euro per un primo...). La tagliata di tonno è andata bene. I tiramisù non proprio, non avevano alcun sapore. Purtroppo non mi era mai capitato.

This is unacceptable. Their friends came over, and I didn't get to have dinner. They cancelled my reservation by the FORK.
