Pranzo veramente eccezionale. Focaccia favolosa, pesce fresco e servizio ottimo. Che dire di più? Assolutamente da tornare.

Con mio marito abbiamo ordinato la mitica focaccia al formaggio (sublime), la pizzata e i pansoti con la salsa di noci....Che dire? Tutto buonissimo, fresco, leggero... Torneremo presto! Ristorante molto tradizionale di cucina prevalentemente ligure Ambiente classico e servizi impeccabili Abbiamo mangiato i loro pansoti le trofie e la famosissima focaccia di Recco Per secondo alici fritte con panatura perfetta, vino bianco (pigato) ligure top della fornitissima cantina del ristorante, dolce. Servizio professionale e socievole. Siamo stati veramente bene..... torneremo....come siamo sempre tornati da 40 anni. 🥰

Ho soggiornato un paio di giorni in occasione del capodanno 25/26. La camera dell' albergo era molto pulita. L'unica pecca non grave è che la camera confinava con l'ascensore che era un po' rumoroso. Il servizio al ristorante è stato eccellente. Il cibo di ottima qualità. Lo consiglio vivamente.

È stata la scelta per passare il 31/12 in Riviera. Non credevo fosse un locale storico. Appena si entra si sente subito la storia che lo ha accompagnato. Sicuramente ci tornerò per una cena o un pernotto. Come dice qualcuno al servizio ho dato dieci. 😎

We stopped for lunch upon the recommendation of the restaurant in the Michelin guide. This is truly a special place. It was busy, but the waiters were kind and attentive. We we’re personally welcomed by (we assume) the owner and got a quite table as we came with a dog. It felt like dining with family. And the food, of course, was straight forward and delicious.

Based on our landlord's recommendation to go to Da O Vittorio for good fish, we planned to do so at lunchtime on the last Sunday of our vacation. Unfortunately, it was already fully booked, but we got a table for the evening and were able to bring our dog with us. Parking can be challenging, so allow plenty of time for this. After a nice chat with the junior manager, we had a wonderful Italian waiter who took great care of us and gave us perfect recommendations. The restaurant offers a great selection of wines at very reasonable prices. Although we had ordered the fish platter as a starter (photo), we also received two pieces of focaccia al formaggio di Recco (photo) as a greeting from the kitchen, both of which dishes were excellent. My wife had a perfect and award-winning fish soup, and I was excited about the porcini mushroom trilogy, both of which were excellent (photos), again. Already very satisfied and full, we treated ourselves to a layered mousse made from three types of chocolate for dessert (photo). There is only one verdict: outstanding, magnificent, and highly recommended. You will enjoy it and feel at home. Thank you to the restaurant and its team!!!

This is a restaurant fantastic! Battia Bisso helped us secure a reservation on WhatsApp and we had a amazing experience starting from the focaccia (legendary) to the spaghetti alla saracena (seafood) and vitello all’uccelletto con Funghi porcini (veal/mushrooms) it was amazing! After our dinner it was late and the train and taxi were not good options. The owner’s son, volunteered to drive us back to our Comogli hotel (close but not so close) in his own personal car to save us cost and hassle factor! Unbelievable! So great! This place is the Best! I always go to Da Ö Vittorio when I’m in Recco, and it never disappoints. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, making it the perfect place to enjoy a great meal. This time, I started with their famous focaccia al formaggio, a true specialty of the house. It was absolutely delicious—perfectly crispy on the outside and irresistibly creamy on the inside. For my main course, I had a beautifully presented salmon dish with senso and edible flowers. The flavors were refined and well-balanced, making every bite a pleasure. To finish, I enjoyed a cup of ice cream, which was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. The owners are incredibly friendly, and the service is always attentive and welcoming. If you’re in Recco, Da Ö Vittorio is a must-visit!

We had an incredible evening, the food was great : we had trofie al pesto and the best ravioli with nut sauce. Special mention to Ignazio who made our night. He was fantastic recommending the food and he made us feeling very comfortable and welcome! He really loves what he does and he can make the whole experience 5 stars!!! We stumbled upon Da O Vittorio restaurant by chance while exploring neighbourhood area. The restaurant offers true Recco food experience. You will not be able to try their cheese focaccia anywhere else, even in Recco. All the dishes are prepared individually, so be ready to enjoy your wait while sipping on one of the wines from their extensive wine list, Barolo or otherwise. Owned by twin brothers, Da O Vittorio is a hidden gem. It has been a part of Michelin guide for the last few years for a good reason. The dishes are well-portioned and well-priced. Their wait staff goes above and beyond making your dining experience perfect, even with a bit of language barrier. Absolutely recommended.

Did not try Manuelina. Chose to eat here because it seemed less touristy and had more and stronger reviews. Definitely not disappointed. The focaccia col formaggio and mixed anchovy plate were both magnificent.

We went there to get the focaccia after being recommended by a friend. It was delicious! The rest of the food (different pasta dishes) and the wine do also deserve praise. Lastly our waiter was a delight, very competently giving advice about the menu and serving the food, while also charmingly entertaining all the guests. Recommended!

Ristorante con una storia. Ambiente piacevole e personale molto cortese. Un menù veramente vario e con piatti tipici. Carta dei vini ottima. Purtroppo però le pietanze, a mio giudizio, non erano alla fine un granché. La focaccia al formaggio aveva un retrogusto un po' troppo acidulo e la zuppa di pesce era insipida. Peccato.

Il ristorante è molto spazioso e accogliente, con un’atmosfera piacevole che rende il pasto ancora più rilassante. La focaccia di Recco è semplicemente fenomenale: fragrante, sottile e con il giusto equilibrio tra croccantezza e morbidezza. Anche gli altri piatti che abbiamo provato erano ben eseguiti e curati nei dettagli, segno di una cucina attenta e di qualità. Il servizio è stato molto buono, il personale gentile e disponibile, sempre attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Unica nota negativa: il piatto con il tartufo, purtroppo, non è all’altezza del resto del menù. Il tartufo bianco lo conosco diversamente, e ha rovinato un po’ l’esperienza complessiva del piatto. Nel complesso però, un ristorante consigliato, soprattutto per la focaccia e per chi cerca un ambiente spazioso e ben gestito.

O Vittorio è una conferma da sempre! Siamo stati ieri a pranzo in due e abbiamo mangiato veramente bene, nel rispetto della tradizione ligure. Ottimi i frisceu e la focaccia al formaggio, la zuppa di pesce semplicemente divina! Non dò 5 stelle perché, nonostante u tuccu fosse eccellente, i ravioli erano scotti (tutti aperti e di conseguenza il ripieno annacquato) e perché il cameriere era eccessivamente invadente, si permetteva costantemente di fare considerazioni a livello personale su me e mio marito, decisamente sgradevole. Il conto assolutamente in linea con la qualità proposta.

But rest 10 out of 10 I will eat that again! + both owners (brothers) was all the time working during the service, serving soo well! Extraordinary experience - Highly recommended ☺️

We stayed one night at vittorio and had dinner at the restaurant. First to the room, old, not really clean and definetely not worth the asked price. Check the pictures. Our room was in a seperate building The food in the restaurant was good, as well as the service. I would go again and eat there in the evening. The breakfast was compared to the quality of the restaurant below average. Also the selection was little (i know italians dont really care for the breakfast). Atmosphere at the breakfast was like a canteen.

Siamo stati a pranzo in questo locale tanto decantato quanto deludente. Purtroppo gli anni d’oro sembrano essere passati e in più il locale non fa nulla per rinnovarsi quel poco da non sembrare kitsch e disordinato. Qualsiasi tipo di cianfrusaglia, tappezzeria e quadro è mischiato senza armonia e crea un ambiente soffocante e antiquato, con pareti che presentano colature di liquidi non ben definiti, muffa sul soffitto e pareti di carton gesso mal nascoste da tendaggi pesanti, vecchi e che sicuro raccolgono molta polvere. Capisco voler mantenere un certo stile che ricordi i vecchi tempi ma così il posto risulta soltanto desueto e non curato. Per quanto riguarda il cibo l’ho trovato nella media: focaccia al formaggio buona ma non eccezionale, tagliolini alla madia realizzati bene ma purtroppo il condimento era slegato e risultavano asciutti. Non so se fosse un caso ma tutti i bicchieri al tavolo avevano aloni molto visibili quindi mi chiedo come mai siano stati apparecchiati ugualmente, soprattutto in un ristorante che dovrebbe cercare di mantenere determinati standard. Infine gesto del titolare assai inappropriato: portare un entree di benvenuto solo ad alcuni tavoli che venivano evidentemente coccolati rispetto ad altri… non si fa una cosa del genere quando accanto ci sono altri commensali che ovviamente notano questa differenza di trattamento. Personale in compenso molto gentile e disponibile.

Focaccia di Recco buonissima. Pansoti con sugo di noci e cima pessimi. Lo consiglio solo per la focaccia.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our Air B&B hosts, and it is also in some Michelin reviews. So while not having any Michelin stars, it sounded like it would be a great place to have dinner. We arrived early in the evening, so we got to pick where we anted to sit. We sat upstairs on the outdoor porch, which was nice. Our server was friendly and patient with our poor Italian. We ordered 8 oysters for the table to share. The first one each of us had was great: fresh, clean, salty sea water with a little bit of meaty umami. My friend and I took a second one and we encountered a completely different story: upon the first bite, my mouth was coated in a putrid rancidness. I might have well have slurped a large spoonful of raw sewage because it tasted exactly how that smells. After spitting that one out, we smelled the remaining oysters, and they all smelled funky. We told our server that they had gone bad, and I went to wash the stink of sewage off my hands. To my surprise, when I returned, a new plate of oysters was on the table. We were hesitant to try them, but after giving one a smell test, we tried it and... it was a good one. The next one passed the smell test too, but it tasted a little funky. After that, we decided not to gamble with the oysters, and it even called into question the freshness of the seafood entrees we had ordered. Thankfully our entrees tasted fine, but our stomachs were soured by the oyster experience, and we were worried about food poisoning. At least now I know what a bad oyster tastes like. Sorpresi di trovarlo quasi vuoto alle ore 20 entriamo in questo locale blasonato ma alcune cose ci sono saltate alla vista : locale vetusto ( attenzione spacciato per storico ma con arredi vecchi ), tappezzerie della mia bisnonna, tende alle finestre con polvere annessa, centinaia di quadri e quadretti che tappezzano le pareti ( peggio della tappezzeria) . Infine la famosa focaccia col formaggio che è insufficiente, se ne trovano di decisamente migliori...Peccato ho sempre desiderato andarci e siamo rimasti molto delusi, non torneremo più.

When we entered, we weren't seated and had to ask multiple times before being seated. The service was extremely slow, even though the restaurant was basically empty. The focacca was half burnt, but other than that, it was pretty good. The plates were tossed at our table, and it felt like they were feeding dogs behind the house when serving us. The food was relatively good but served wrong. Starters with main courses and vice versa. Overpriced and overrated. Would not recommend.
