A wonderful experience from many points of view: welcoming service staff, intimate but tasty location, delicious food, delicate air fresheners everywhere, perfectly chosen background music. A very successful combination of attentions. The attention to every detail is perceived in the room fragrances positioned in every room but never invasive, decanted in old bottles of refined gin. The menu selection is limited but in order to be cared for and treated with the respect it deserves. Generous portions and full and rich flavors, but not cloying.

Wonderful experience. Welcoming and knowledgeable staff, excellent food. When we got the bill, we noticed that an octopus (€15) hadn't been included. When we went back inside to report it, the owners thanked us and didn't charge the difference. Congratulations for your courtesy and honesty!

We were travelling through. Excellent family run restaurant. For travellers, they have menus in English. They are genuinely pleased to be serving very good food and for customers to appreciate the quality. If you are unsure of a wine selection let the host choose one. Our Montonale was a great match.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to in my life !!! Christian and his Wife Fabrizia Are the most gracious friendly and hospitable restaurant owners you could ever meet!!!l They treated us like family like we were best friends The food was amazing with a delicious variety all fresh and made to order. The local wines were exquisite !! And some of the local regular customers were fantastic company !! I hope the owners read this so they remember their GREEK friends from the USA. Historic tavern recently taken over by new management. Quiet location, excellent food, well-managed by the owners who have brought a fresh air to the place. Business lunches, snacks based on bread and salami and cold cuts, excellent aperitifs and à la carte menus that vary from traditional flavors such as ribs with cabbage, stewed cod, etc. to very popular fish dishes, all accompanied by a good wine. Live music evenings are highly recommended.

A perfect (perfetto) place to be. The dinner was very tasty (buono gusto) and perfect prepared. Both owners care a lot for us and our wishes and care a lot for our dog, they were very friendly and sympathic. It was simply a perfect and cozy night! You have to visit this place!

We found this restaurant by chance and had a really good time. Excellent dishes, well-cooked (compliments to the Sicilian chef), and the owners were very kind and friendly without being intrusive. The place is very clean and has a decent amount of parking in front. The prices are reasonable. We will definitely return and recommend it.

I strongly advise against it! I strongly advise against it! Disastrous service! Utterly dishonest! Even speaking Italian, the owner treated us like idiots! He seated us inside amidst the smell of grease to save tables on the terrace for customers who hadn't made a reservation, while we had, claiming it was going to rain when it absolutely wasn't. The appetizers were okay. The main courses arrived after an hour and a half: two burgers and a few meager pieces of octopus. The mashed potatoes that came with the octopus were cold and hard, but the owner claimed it was because of the burrata! Which should have made it creamy. I strongly advise against it, especially if you're a tourist! Disastrous value for money!
