Perfect location for a perfect wine and dine. The staff made our evening great, as did the menu and the wines. In one week we visited Veranda Beach three times. Maybe one of the best places around Lake Como!

Had an absolutely beautiful meal at Veranda. Valentina, the owner, always has a smile on her face and will do anything to ensure you have amazing experience at her restaurant. I had the marinated octopus and the Duck pasta (not pictured), both of which I could not fault, cooked to perfection and had great flavours. Cocktails were delicious, and, unlike most places in the world, they can make a good Mojito (with mint picked from their own garden) views of Lake Como were breathtaking - highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for great food and vibes

Valentina and her family saved our wedding, after our original location was cancled just 6 days before the wedding. Her beach restaurant is absolutly stunning and the whole set-up was not just good it was absolutely perfect. 10 out of 10. Valentina is the born host and support us amazing. She simply understood what we wanted, made great recommendations and delivered more than promised. Me, my wife and all our guest were absolutely happy. Location, team, food and drinks - all amazing. A really picturesque location, with delicious ice cream, tasty cocktails and friendly staff! We are here on vacation and have gone to grab cocktails and ice cream twice now and they truly have the best cocktail maker. I believe his name is Ego(?) and the skill and passion he has is a pleasure to see. For the second night we went to celebrate my mother's birthday there and he went out of his way on a really busy night to make it memorable and make her her favourite cocktail. Which turned out to be the best drink she's ever had. The ice-creams are also incredibly yummy and hit the spot just right. There are also proper meals for dinner but that's something we haven't tried yet. There is something for everyone. (Also for gin lovers and non gin lovers the Romeo & Giuliette is a must try.)

We really just were in search of any place to have dinner in the vicinity of where we were staying and this little place popped up. So we went there, not expecting at all this gourmet place, that is Veranda Beach Cafe. I've posted some photos of what we had for dinner, and they don't do the dishes justice. The taste was on par with what you could expect from some Michelin starred places, the prawn was among the best I had tasted, the octopus so soft it almost melted in my mouth. It's not cheap, but the price is as you could expect considering the quality. The staff was competent as well as friendly and I whole-heartedly recommend eating here. Oh yeah, one little thing I really liked - as it had gotten dark, the waiter brought the menus with a little lamp attached, it was ingenious!

Abbiamo usufruito della ristorazione e non dell'hotel. Arrivati fuori orario del pranzo abbiamo comunque potuto mangiare un ottimo toast formato maxi e un altrettanto ottimo gelato. Personale molto gentile.

Locale molto gradevole proprio in riva al lago di Como, perfetto per colazioni, aperitivi, pranzi e cene. Molto ben curato e gestito da personale gentile e disponibile a consigliare per il meglio. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Super consigliato 👍 👍 👍

Recensisco colazione e gelato, che sono buoni. Il posto è sicuramente carino con ottima vista e patio, ed è moderno quanto basta per differenziarsi dai vicini e attrarre una clientela diversa. Anche lo staff è carino, che di nuovo differenzia il posto dai vicini che sono ormai famigerati per gli staff sbrigativi e disattenti. La colonna sonora è adorabile, con le cover dei grandi successi in chiave chill-out. C'è un problema di prezzi a mio avviso, però. Va bene che rispetto ai vicini la cura è decisamente superiore, ma comunque ciò non regge certi prezzi per il cibo. Se il fritto costasse poco meno saremmo sempre li, ogni sera, con una bottiglia di bollicine, senza pensarci nemmeno un secondo. Invece no, al massimo un toast che comunque costa più che a Milano nel bar dove ti fanno un massaggio e ti chiamano per nome. Suggerisco di considerare un piccolo calo dei prezzi nel cibo, per diventare la destinazione obbligatoria per chiunque voglia una vibe del genere. Nota positiva: le sedie sulla spiaggia sono comodissime, se solo potessi goderne con un frittino di mare - o lago...

Locale molto suggestivo in riva al lago, con ottima varietà di cocktails, anche molto ricercati. Cibo buono e particolare. Non economico. Locale molto carino e decisamente rilassante dopo una giornata di lago prendere una birra o uno spritz che arrivano accompagnati da delle sfiziosità molto gradite. Purtroppo non ti sfamano (sono circa 3 varietà, per un pezzo a persona) e nel licale non hanno le patatine (quelle del sacchetto) e nemmeno le noccioline, che con la birra, all'orario aperitivo, non dovrebbero proprio mancare. Gelato buono, ma troppo liquido.

Se non fosse per il cibo, a mio avviso ottimo, il locale meriterebbe 1 stella su 5 a causa del servizio. Per un costo del genere ci si aspetta un servizio che ne sia all’altezza. Camerieri distratti e poco professionali, molte volte al telefono, comanda sbagliata e totale inventato. Un locale moderno, ben arredato, confortevole e intimo. La cucina merita 5 stelle, la gestione della sala dovrebbe essere rivista quasi per intero. 3 stelle perché non posso metterne 2,5.

A beautiful place with a nice view and good music. The staff was always very slow but friendly. Just don’t order food. We tought we would get some nice dish for 18 euros but we got toasted bread and a fish can.

Location molto bella. Aperitivo caro e senza un minimo di stuzzichini che si devono richiedere con insistenza. Richiamare il bambino di anni 12 che non porta la maglietta perché viene dalla spiaggia lo trovo anche imbarazzante (anche perché il richiamo è avvenuto molto dopo l'ordinazione)

The moment we arrived, we were clearly unwelcome. The two waitresses were overwhelmed, rude and kept disregarding us. They wouldn’t take our order of drinks, and when we went back to the bar, they kept asking me to sit down. We then proceeded to the dinning table - we asked for one close the water edge but they were apparently reserved and weren’t given menus for another 15 minutes despite asking for them. It took so long that the people dining by the water left and the waitresses offered that table who arrived after us and without reservation. They had 3 dishes not available, including their vongole which was done with frozen shrimps. The portions were small and oily. The salvation came in the form of a delightful tiramisu. The wine bottle we had chosen wasn’t available, so they offered a similar one but ended up opening a more expensive bottle, and only realising after that…at least they didn’t charge us the more expensive wine. All in all, the place was great, cocktails good, food subpar and the service was terrible. Would only return in case of absolute necessity.

Nicely styled restaurant with lakeview. Good drinks, but we were not impressed by the food. The taste was quite plain ( I had taglionini with local mushrooms). Pasta with meatballs not very special as well.

Well, it was ok here, we were on some (in my personal opinion) not so busy day for a dinner. First waited 10 min to get the menu, after 30 min we got our startes AND drinks, then another 30 min for the main course, and only cause waiter noticed our empty table… :( Food was ok, pretty pricey for little portion and not the best taste. Good sides: beautiful view and location, nice waiters

Been here many times over 5 years, the restaurant is on a great location on the lake so you can eat or enjoy a drink with a great view. The food is also really nice, rarely had a poor course at all, but the service is unbelievably inconsistent. Some of the waiters are excellent, friendly and attentive, but wow, what a load of rubbish the other ones are. Just had the longest most frustrating night of our lives! Lovely food, put painful and laughable watching the service going on. 4 hours later we can enjoy the walk home. Such a shame they do so many things right

Purtroppo lo staff, l'accoglienza, il servizio, i prezzi non rappresentano la locations. Siamo stati trattati veramente in maniera sgarbata, soprattutto alla richiesta di spiegazioni sul prezzo da pagare.

Pessimo, da evitare. Oggi pomeriggio io e mia moglie ci siamo fermati per un gelato. Abbiamo chiesto una semplice coppa di crema con fragole, dopo un'attesa infinita ci hanno servito gelato fiordilatte, abbiamo chiesto una minerale (mai arrivata), alla cassa un siparietto imbarazzante tra la cameriera (in evidente stato confusionale) e la proprietaria, impegnata in una telefonata, inintertotta nonostante la nostra presenza. Alla fine, dopo un conciliabolo incomprensibile, venti euro per un microgelato dal gusto sbagliato e qualche fragolina. Assolutamente inadeguato

Sono passato alle ore 14,00 con mia moglie lungo la bellissima passeggiata a lago e abbiamo chiesto in questo locale una schweppes e due mezze minerali da portare via: forse ci hanno reputato due barboni perché è così che ci hanno trattato, con distacco, superiorità senza nemmeno aprire la bottiglietta in vetro della schweppes e non mi hanno nemmeno rilasciato lo scontrino. Ho scoperto dal resto che ho speso sei euro e cinquanta. Pensavo di venirci a cena ma non voglio più essere trattato in questo modo.

NON ANDATECI CON BAMBINI PICCOLI ! Prenotato con seggiolino, mia figlia ha meno di due anni, locale semi vuoto.. Una bambina di 22 mesi può anche permettersi di far cadere due fiori sul tavolo, confermo anche che ho dovuto inseguirla nella sala interna (vuota)... La titolare si avvicina intimandoci di CONTENERE la bambina !!!! Contenere ??? A questo punto la mia risposta in toni cordiali; guardi se le diamo fastidio possiamo anche andarcene, contro risposta andate pure ! Incredibile !! Dopo esserci sincerati con gli altri tavoli di non aver dato fastidio ( chiaramente nessuno si è sentito infastidito ) abbiamo preso le nostre cose e siamo andati via . PS non posso valutare il cibo ma i prezzi sono a dir poco esagerati. 50 metri più vicino siamo andati in un altro locale, sempre in riva al lago, speso il giusto, mangiato benissimo, personale cordiale e mia figlia è stata ricoperta di sorrisi e affetto da tutti. Cara titolare le auguro di avere dei bambini !! Sono una gioia non un disturbo !!! A mai più !!!

Food is quite average, but fairly ok in comparison to their service, which is terrible!! We booked a table to celebrate an evening with work colleagues. Waiter, who was very nice took the order very nicely. Some dishes were ordered with side dishes. All dishes were delivered at random times. The most shocking thing was that side dishes were delivered to everyone in random order way before people received their dish, which is bizarre to say the least. Really disappointing experience.

Totally overpriced. 6 Euro a beer, 6 Euro a cheep Nutella Muffin. Now I know why the waiter didn't want to show the menu. Simply rediculous this place. And no, the view doesn't compensate. I'd recommend you to go to the Sailing Club in Musso.
