Very cute little restaurant. We found this place with a gift box. We were greeted very warmly, which is not always the case with a gift box. They explained all the dishes to us impeccably, as was the service. Excellent food, all fresh. The cutlet is their strong point. We will definitely be back, even without the gift box.

A pleasant surprise! Al Cantuccio restaurant is the perfect example of that little place you stumble upon by chance, but it leaves you with a wonderful memory of Italian cuisine, the result of delicious experimentation that you immediately recognize when you try it. I live abroad, and Luisa and Jessica (whom I thank) immediately made me feel at home, like a friend passing through. In Italy, food is family, and this place embodies that concept perfectly!

This was a lovely little restaurant serving gorgeous food! You could tell the staff don’t typically get many English customers but everyone was lovely regardless. We had the sharing platter of cured meats to start which were all lovely (put on two separate plates). We had the orecchiette special with sausage meat and broccoli and it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. It was all very authentic and it was so impressive how they got the best taste out of such simple ingredients. The red wine we had was also phenomenal! The whole thing came to €46 which is far cheaper than some other meals we’ve had with less food at other restaurants in Milan. It’s quite a cozy and small restaurant off the beaten track but definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Trattoria semplice ed informale, di tipica cucina locale. Cotoletta alla milanese doc: gustosa e leggera, per nulla unta. Porzioni delle verdure risicate. Prezzi contenuti.

Ottima cucina, fin troppo abbondante, e personale molto gentile. Locale decoroso. Gramde onestà della proprietaria: ci siamo arrivati con una smartbox che contemplava antipasto, primo e secondo ma non includeva bevande ed extra. Dato che le porzioni erano veramente abbondanti, abbiamo cambiato i secondi con altri piatti di minor valore. Non ci hanno quindi fatto pagare vino, acqua e caffè!!! Veramente onesti. Complimenti.

A casual trattoria with just a few tables, but very welcoming. The simple, short menu features local dishes, as well as some very inviting traditional Italian fare. Excellent tagliatelle with fresh porcini mushrooms and bruschetta with fresh cherry tomatoes. The red wine on tap was good, and the staff, all female, were friendly. The bill was very fair. We absolutely recommend visiting. Brave.

Cosy and nice little restaurant in the heart of Rho, just outside Milan. I had a nice chicken with caramelised onion and "friarelli" beans and a nice apple pie (some cream would have been a nice addition to it, feedback given to the chef ;) ) Very nice experience, indeed..

It is a small and cosy restaurant with domestic and fresh food. I eat occasionally there whenever I’m in the zone. Price is reasonable, for example starter + main course + water and wine (or desert) is 18€.

Ristorante in pieno centro a Rho. Locale veramente storico. Piatti semplici, ma molto buoni. Nonostante il cambio di gestione di molti anni fa, la bontà del cibo è rimasta invariata! Personale gentile e cordiale! Ci torneremo di sicuro
