Giant Burger is known for its massive, juicy burgers made with fresh, never-frozen beef. Customers rave about the double cheeseburger and friendly service, often mentioning the owner, Mason. Some find the fries and drink machine quality lacking, and prices can be high.

Tip: Be prepared for large portions! The single burger is often enough for one person. If you want to try something other than a burger, they also offer catfish.

For a small town food place, definitely restaurant quality burgers! Massive delicious burgers! <3 Price is $11-$20 a person but so worth it! I can’t even finish my food! I didn’t go during rush hour, I went for lunch. Had two people infront of me and I received my food in under 10 minutes!
Pretty good little place i just found. They really know how to fry some tots! The burger was pretty good too:)
Down home Texas burgers at their best!!! They offer other good options as well, like catfish & whatnot. However , I ONLY stop here ( when Im in the area (I’m a long haul truck driver) for a GIANT Cheeseburger!! The price's do not reflect the GIANT portions… very reasonable $!! Restaurant area is always clean, staff friendly & you can fuel & get whatever you need in the convenience store attached to Giant Burger!! “Warning “…ya’ll best be HUNGRY because so far I only can eat 1/2 of my single patty & save the other 1/2 for dinner the next day when Im done driving! ! Stop by and enjoy a delicious Giant burger …
Oh man.. this is a little local spot in Rhome, Texas. I tried this out today and got the double burger... with bacon and jalapeños. very filling and worth the money. fries were nice and crisp. Staff was very friendly and you could tell this place has plenty of regulars!! Gotta love Small town eateries!! I will definitely go back and bring my family to try them as well.
The name is correct. This was a Giant double cheeseburger with everything on it, which measured at least 4 inches from top to bottom in my hand. Flavor was outstanding with the handmade hamburgers. The french fries were excellent also. Highly recommend you try this out if ever you’re in Rhome Texas.
Had the double burger with cheese. Struggled to finish it, the burger was really good, as heard on WBAP as one of the better burgers in the DWF area, and oh, it was good! Fries were ok, didn't finish them. The owner is awesome, Mason came out and talked with us. Giant Burger is highly recommended, you will not be disappointed!
Not from here, just passing thru. We missed in-n-out :/ so decided to stop here instead The condiments were organized!!! and customer service good 👍🏼 burger did NOT disappoint...,,besides it not being the size of a pizza pie as I expected by the word “giant” 😝 I liked the toasted bun. Even the onion was tasty and crisp. Thanks Giant burger! Yum We’re glad we missed in-n-out (:
Flavor: B Service: A Tea: A Solo dining: A Out in the greater greater greater DFW area comes a recommendation for Giant Burger in Rhome (which I assume is pronounced like Rome). It’s on the side of a gas station and the burger joint wing of the building angles back and almost hides itself as if to say “if you don’t know where this place is you don’t deserve to come here.” The sign is in need of refurbishment as it was definitely a burger at one time but now all that can be made out is some lettuce and a lot of yellow that is too much to be explained as cheese or mustard. Speaking of signs, there are a lot of them in this place. And I use the term sign loosely as none of them are professionally produced. There’s one about their increasing food cost, one about being nice to the people that actually came to work, one about how fast the ice comes out of the machine, one about getting off your phone while you’re making your order… so much good stuff. The one sign they didn’t have was an OPEN sign which I would’ve appreciated because it was hard to tell. Now on to the burger. It’s a pretty thick patty that’s handmade and seasoned by someone who refuses to eat a bland burger. Seriously, the recipe on this patty was real good. It wasn’t dry but could’ve been cooked a little less in my opinion to make it more juicy. The toppings were generous but not overdone especially for such a big patty. I’m giving this one a B. The tots were perfectly cooked and I loved being offered ranch for them. Overall the service at this place was level 10 - many questions and offerings in taking our order, checking on us while eating, and (the real way to my heart) seeing if anyone was drinking tea before throwing it out. Cheers to Giant Burger for a making masterfully seasoned burgers in their secret gas station wing. #theburgertrail #texasburgers
The burger is amazing, absolutely delicious and huge. Everything else however... sadly it's severely lacking. The drink machine has a funny taste to it and the carbonation was poor, and the fries that came with the burger might as well had just not been there. Negatives aside, try a burger, you won't be disappointed.
When in Rhome... this place is worth stopping by! I've heard so much about this that I finally had to make the drive over with some friends. Pretty good burgers at good prices. Bacon cheeseburger at around $7. Juicy, thick hamburger patties! 😋 I especially loved the thick, crispy fries. They had many other options but will have to try them next time.
I would recommend this burger joint over any fast food drive thru. This is not the best 5☆ burger you can get, but it is homestyle, juicy and delicious. They give you enough food that you can finish it all and almost be fat full, but not that guilty full. It's a great meal and a good thing I love 70 miles away or else I would be here everyday. Recommend!
The good: Staff was very nice. Single burger is PLENTY for almost anyone. Didn't take long to get our food (granted we ate an early dinner, 4:30p). The not so good: burger lacked flavor. Not much seasoning at all. Frys also very bland. Price for 4 burgers fries and drinks was over $60. Definitely not a gourmet burger and for the price I was expecting better.
Why do they find a way to charge extra each time I stop by is beyond my imagination. Same burger different price every time.
Me an my son visited this place with high expectations as they show their awards for best burgers in Wise county. It was not the case. Burger was overcooked and lacked flavor. It was a huge burger don’t get me wrong but it just ended up tasting like non seasoned overcooked ground beef. Staff was not attentive and unfortunately I did call her out for rolling her eyes at me and my son when he opted to change something on his order. Won’t be heading back anytime soon. It’s unfortunate because I feel that yeah in its heyday when it did receive its awards it was probably really good.
Not a fan. $30 for two giant burgers, fries/tots and a drink. The young lady taking orders wasn't at all friendly. Here's my beef...the burgers look amazing and are flavorful but and it's a huge but...the buns are hard on the outside....brick hard and I had to inquire as to why the buns were so hard...the young lady indicated that they put them on the grill...ok...But the outside? Tops and bottoms? The insides weren't at all toasted. The fries and tots arrived lukewarm...not at all hot. Super disappointing... Still shaking my head about the buns.....and this place won "best burger in Wise County".
