I always have a great experience at Torchy’s, and I have to give a special shoutout to Tony, the manager. Every time I come in, he remembers me, greets me with a smile, and makes me feel genuinely welcome. His friendly attitude and attention to detail really set the tone for the whole place — you can tell he truly cares about his customers and his team. The food is always fresh and delicious (the tacos never miss), but it’s the level of service that keeps me coming back. Tony goes above and beyond. Torchy’s is lucky to have him!

Came in with my 2 kids, parents, and grandmother. Tony greeted us and took our order. Was thorough and knowledgeable. The female food runner who brought the food also helped us get more trays and organized the table. Tony stopped back by, checked on our experience , and brought out Togo boxes and bag. Staff was amazing. Food always amazing. 10/10

Visiting Dallas on business from Scotland. Stumbled across Torchy’s Tacos when looking for breakfast. Turns out to be a great choice. Tony gave me a lot of help with selecting my food, which was amazing. Particularly liked the spicy sauce, nice heat and great flavour.

Any time I travel to Texas I make a point of going to Torchy's (although it's becoming less necessary to wait, as they seem to be everywhere now). The bar looked very busy, so I asked if I could order a drink up at the front counter, where there was no wait. They said yes, but it seems like there's not really an efficient system for getting it to you. You'll likely have to go up to the bar and tell them what you ordered, which defeated the whole purpose of why I ordered it at the front. I sat at a high-top near the bar and watched one bartender ask who my drink was for after the other made it and just sat it down. He said "I don't know, it just came through," so I went over and told them it was mine. Can't complain about the service too much, though. One of them had to explain to a girl that the "weird texture fatty meat" on her taco was just the bark 🙄 yet he still offered to refund it, which was a kind gesture. Decided to try a couple new (to me) tacos. Got the matator (off the secret menu) and the tipsy chick. Both were good, although I don't think either was my favorite taco I've ever had at a Torchy's. The matador was definitely my favorite of the two.

A buddy came to visit Texas for the first time and we had to show him Tex Mex. Torchys is definitely the best choice we made, they are up there with Chuys. We all ordered specialty tacos, one of us had a burrito and we sat down with our buzzer. We were served chips and salsa. Our food came out extremely fast, the server and cash register personnel are so fast with service. The chips and salsa were so good!! The tacos were loaded with toppings, my blacked salmon taco was perfect. I wish there was the hot sauces on the tables though, I’m someone who loves hot sauce. The corn side was good too. The vibes here were great, there’s a bar, booths, and tables. Our friends first time trying Tex mex was a success!!

Fast food/ bar vibe setting with upbeat music. Excellent tacos. Had the vegetarian Mofaux taco and raw avocado taco on flour tortilla ( watch out for the orange sauce provided on the side as it is REALLY SPICY HOT. );Son had the meat based Matador and Tipsy Chick. Hubby had potato, cheese, and egg ( Make Your Own Taco). Nice flavors. Corn tortilla also available. Quick friendly service. Manager heard we were newcomers and came over and gave us coupons so we could try other flavor tacos for free! Nice meal!

The staff is so nice here. We visited 8/4 around 1.30p. Somewhat busy and the bartender knows what she is doing. The Hillbillies nachos was so freaking good. I took too long to try this place. Ughhh. We each ordered 2 tacos and couldn’t down the 1st one. It was too much but I’m Not complaining at all. Also, I love mango margarita. The best I have tried.

This is a great Torchy’s! We had a great time and the food came out very quickly despite how much we ordered. The staff is kind and funny, as well as efficient. Our food was very tasty. The cowboy queso is a must, it was the star of our meal. The guacamole was so creamy and good, if a little salty. I can’t recommend the street corn, it’s a little too charred to get any flavor but burn. As for tacos, the republican is a must if you like a snappy sausage, the fried avocado is a top tier vegetarian option, and the trailer park taco was perfect in every regard. The food was oddly spicy compared to other times I’ve been to Torchy’s, but it wasn’t overly so. Overall, I will definitely be coming back here whenever I want my taco fix.

Great atmosphere, kind service and giant tacos but ingredient and prep quality just isn’t there. It’s a shame because a lot of people have great memories of Torchy’s tacos of old and it could be catching a second wind. I guess this is just the new normal for any corporate takeover of a trendy food service establishment. Priority #1 should be not letting a cold tortilla leave the kitchen

The new screens for ordering are terribleeeee and SO slow because no one in line knew how to work them. Sweet baby angel Leon who was the human being working the counter was absolutely lovely and made our experience much better. Please let your great staff people take orders instead of screens….they don’t help anything.

I recently found my new addiction! The tacos are absolutely amazing — full of flavor, fresh, and they even have gluten-free options. This is officially my new happy place! 🌮✨ The young men who work here in the evenings are always over-the-top helpful, kind, and courteous. However, today I did notice a moment of uncordial behavior toward a customer, which I also brought to the manager’s attention — but there wasn’t much help offered. Still, this is a place that I genuinely love. The food and atmosphere always keep me coming back.

The quality of food is going downhill. We use to love the flavors but they are not the same anymore more. Our favorite ranch doesn’t taste like it’s made fresh like it use to be, instead more like store bought bottled one.

I’ve been eating at this Torchys for almost 10 years. Today was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The woman at the register called us over to order and was extremely dismissive and rude like we inconvenienced her by being there. Mind you we were at the kiosk because we weren’t sure what we wanted. We ordered 4 tacos, queso, a chicken quesadilla, the new chicken Diablo bites and rice/beans. All of the food was ice cold aside from the queso. I found a worker at the bar to let him know the food was cold. He said “ok”. Never asked what we ordered or where we were sitting. The food floated around the restaurant because they didn’t know our table. Once again it was cold. We were approached by a manager saying she “made it herself”. Rather than ask for another remake I just took it go. It was highly disappointing experience and it very likely I’ll never be back

Ordered for here with 2 drinks. Paid, no receipt. Cashier said thank you and moved onto the next person. Realized we didn't get our drinks. Cashier stood there and watched as my wife struggled to reach the top of the pile of cups next to her. Never helped her. Also never got a receipt, so had nowhere else to leave my comments. Food was fresh and tasty, though!
