Classic and popular spot for breakfast food! I ordered their French toast and brought it was decent. I got mine as a combo so it included bacon, hash browns and egg.

IHOP on No. 3 Road is exactly what you’d expect from the chain—reliable, casual, and consistent. The pancakes are the safe bet and come out fluffy and warm, while the rest of the menu is solid but nothing memorable. Service can be a bit slow during peak hours, but it’s a dependable spot if you’re craving classic breakfast food without surprises.

Went for a late lunch. Was greeted and seated right away. Service was great and attentive. The food was okay, typical IHOP brunch kind of quality. The quantity is very filling though and I couldn’t eat anything for the rest of the day so it’s worth the money. Main reason I wanted to go was I craved pancakes and it definitely delivered. The pancakes were thick and fluffy.

We visited IHOP in Richmond as it was open early and we were bringing a friend to the airport. There is a parking lot for this location and the inside was filled with booth seating and early risers enjoying their coffee and breakfast. All three of us ordered the combo which came with pancakes, hash brown, eggs, and either bacon/sausage. We also ordered coffee which had unlimited refills. Our waitress was very nice and chatty. Food was just ok with the hash brown being a little bit on the hard and dry side and the pancakes being a bit too sweet. For instance, the strawberry and banana pancake didn’t have actual strawberries but like a strawberry jam sort of sauce which made the pancake overly sweet. The combo was reasonably priced but the food taste could use some improvement.

After a long, expected wait on a Sunday morning, food was delivered! The Breakfast Platter with a side of Swedish crepes was absolutely delicious! Service was excellent too. Our server was friendly, courteous and helpful. Will definitely return again.

Had to wait about 15 minutes since there is limited seating due to social distancing. The breakfast was good, but nothing special. Pancakes were actually a little underwhelming for a place that is named after exactly that. I think the French toast was better. The hot chocolate was good too, but a little too sweet! As for customer service, the staff was quite helpful, maybe a little much if that's possible? Lol. Within less than 10 minutes, 4 different servers approached us to take our order for drinks before breakfast. My suggestion would be to assign tables to servers so different servers don't have to attend the same table.

2026.01.16. I saw online that IHOP has eggs Benedict and came to check it out. We ordered a 55+ Rise and Shine, Eggs Benedict Classic, coffee. The eggs were burnt, coffee from the thermos didn't keep the coffee piping hot, but warm, drinkable, but not good enough quality to drink black without sweetener and half and half added. The eggs Benedict was fair, the hash browns were dry, a little burnt, not enough grease in the hash browns, tasted much better elsewhere, below average. The service was decent. The atmosphere is pleasant with the Alpine shaped roof. Free WiFi, credit cards accepted. Recommended with reservations.

We found a whole pancake on the floor underneath our booth seat. After smearing it on the bottom of our shoes as we sat down. (Pancaked left fom previous customers "probably dropped accidentally.") Told our server about it, even jokingly laughed it off. But she didn't seem to care in regards to cleaning it up right away. The floor underneath our table was quite filthy. And our server just shyly said sorry and only helped us clear our dishes. In addition, i ordered an apple juice, and it was extremely watered down and had no taste. They should probably get their machine checked out and serviced. Other than that, food was okay. However, it could've landed 4 stars if it wasn't for it being so greasy. The restaurant was extremely cold as they had the A/C on full blast when it wasn't that necessary. Overall: Service ☆☆/☆☆☆☆☆ Due to a lack of cleanliness. / awkward. Atmosphere ☆☆/☆☆☆☆☆ Dirty booths and bathrooms were smelly. Food ☆☆☆ / ☆☆☆☆☆ Pancakes were a delight. Turkey club was very greasy.

Been a long while since I last visited due to Covid. My serving waiter said their old chef has been replaced, perhaps that explained why their pancakes had gone from soft and puffy to soggy and wet. I used to like their pancakes but not anymore. Their brunch quality had gone downhill too. Everything seems very “cafeteria”. Oh and be prepare for a very, very long waiting time for the food. Apparently the new chef liked to cook the dishes in one go. Their friendly service, free flow coffee and the “old school” interior remained but not enough to attract my revisit anymore, given the post-Covid inflation.

The vegetable egg white meal I received came with a blackened avocado and was presented carelessly. While dining with my young child, I found it concerning that the waitress never once engaged with us or asked about our meal. My expectations for IHOP are reasonable, but the quality of service and presentation on this visit fell short.
